Season 1: (Chapters 1-40)

aka: I became the Male Lead's Wife

Storyline: I possessed the body of “Fiona,” the final villainess whose soul was sentenced to eternal suffering after her gruesome demise at the hands of the world’s hero. Does that mean I'm now destined to die too?



No first I have to survive!

That may be difficult as Fiona was tortured by her own family just because she was an illegitimate child, and eventually she was sent to the North to help in the war efforts. There she meets the fearsome Duke Able and asks for a chance to prove herself as to not be kicked out and left on the streets like the original Fiona.

Fortunately, even as a young girl- as the story’s greatest villainess, Fiona was a genius mage. All she has to do now is survive the monster invasion and the Duke until she reaches adulthood. However, on the. battlefield one day-before the start of the original novel I encountered the teenaged male lead.

...Why is he here?

Well, if the male lead dies here, then the world will be destroyed. So, let’s save him first!

Okay so I like the story but am feeling a bit hmm by the romance. For example Fiona is probably closer to Able in mental age, but it would be weird for them to get together because he saw her grow up and sees her as his kid right?



(even though yes he is ~Daddy~ Wolf Cut Daddy!)

While on the other hand, Fiona is closer to Sigrin in physical age (bc she took over the OG FL's role and is an adult in a kids body) it would be weird for them to get together because she saw him grow up and sees him as her kid right? ...oh wait...no...he's the male lead?



I guess the best laid plans go awry and all that....also I mean I guess at this point in the story everyone is an adult and they were more friends than anything...so I dunno? Maybe at this point *I* see Sigrin as a youngin still even if he is grown. Plus in the novel even though she agrees to date him she doesn't take him that seriously it seems Fiona seems him that way too atm.

Fiona y Siegren amo la química de los personas

Completamente diferente a la historia, ya le daba una Estrella aparte por lo hermoso que es el dibujo, me encanta como son los personajes y la versión infantil de cada uno es hermosa.

Amo al duque de Helion, desde siempre la estuvo cuidando a Fiona... tan lindo JAJAJAJAJ

Siegren niño es uno de los niños más lindos que vi, increíble. Fiona tampoco se queda atrás, amo la personalidad de su personaje.

En fin, grandiosa historia YA QUIERO SABER QUE SUCEDERÁ

Honestly? It’s not the best written manhwa. So far it’s a just a generic Mary Sue FL isekai and the manwha is full on what you called a generic cliche. But I'm really invested in the characters and the art so far so I'll definitely keep reading!

Chapter 1 to 40

I love the interactions between Fiona, Duke Heilon & Seigren! Just wished that Fiona wasn't so oblivious towards Seigren's affections. She also kept thinking of herself as Seigren's older sister 😭 despite this, the love between them is definitely mutual.

Anyway, we follow the characters as they grow up (i.e. protecting the citizens of Heilon, recovering @ Feilon, confronting Fiona's old family, reinstating Seigren as a prince, and proving Fiona as the heir of Heilon by attempting to win the monster hunt. But I must say.... My favourite chapter is chapter 40 where Fiona ends up conjuring a whole lot of fire to ward off the wild monsters to protect everyone who was present at the Monster Hunt. The art was exceptionally beautiful and I ended up using one of the scenes as my phone wallpaper.

We also end up meeting other important side characters such: (1) Ardent [the 2nd male lead], Livia [the original love rival who is now a huge fan of Fiona] and (3) Eunice [the original female lead].

Looking forward to the next season~

2.5 stars rounded up, because it did entertain me, even though the female lead was incongruously dense. There is a lot of potential here, but the creators kept making choices with the story, characterization, and art that left me going "Whyyyy?" It wouldn't take much to make this really good, because it has the components of a great political fantasy and a decent romance, but the choices made kept steering it into Mary Sue territory and clichés. I'm not even against clichés — I love a trope done really well or handled inventively or turned on its head; I'll even read something specifically for a good trope — but although there were plenty of chances to take this a step above, the creators took the path of least resistance. The result is a mediocre, run-of-the-mill story that frustrated me even though it sometimes amused me.

tl;dr: I've read better. Its potential was high, but that just means the disappointment is too.

For something similar, try The Villainess is Retiring, Season 1 instead.

So I read this comic, and I'm really in love.

I don't know about you. But I used to write a lot of fanfictions on my teenage years, and this is story is basically the definition of "how would it be if I entered the universe that I had created"

And in a nutshell, it would be the pure chaos.

Our Mc became Fiona, the last boss that the FL and ML should destroy using their love, but she really didn't want to die. So she decided to try to change her life, going to the war at an young age, and trying to live new things.

In the middle of this, she meets Sigren (the male lead) and discovers that when we make our characters with terrible pasts (to justify their personalities these days), they actually suffer a lot because of that.

Bcs of that, she decides to stay closer to him and become a good friend. And from this point we have a beautiful romance.

I love how the author didn't make Fiona and Eunice (the previous FL) fight for Sigren. Sigren only has eyes for Fiona, and no one else..

And I also loved how even with their problems, we don't have useless chapters of miscommunication. They just talk what they want to, and try their best to be together even with their flaws.

Let's not talk about the storyline because it always classic isekai story (maybe even better than other) but THE ART BRO. MCs looks like star from the sky tho. Their eyes wow. All of them are hot. 🤧

pas très convaincue par ce premier tome, j'ai tjrs eu du mal avec les isekai mais je vais quand même lire le tome 2 pcq l'histoire a du potentiel, c'est juste un peu brouillon dans l'exécution et les dialogues.

je trouve pas les personnages très bien écrits mais est-ce que c'est pas voulu justement pcq l'écrivaine elle-même explique qu'elle n'a jamais donné plus de profondeur aux persos de son univers...? (bon en vrai même Fiona n'est pas très bien écrite lol mais j'essaye d'être compréhensive jpp)

(par contre le trope de "je suis un'e adulte réincarné'e dans un corps d'enfant" ça finit tjrs par être problématique et cringe pour pleins de raisons du coup j'espère que ça va pas l'être d'autant plus...)

Le concept de base de ce manga est assez orignal. L'autrice elle-même se retrouve piégé dans son roman, et même si elle connait la suite de évènements, elle essaie, tant bien que mal, de ne pas bousculer l'avenir. L'autre aspect que j'ai aimé, c'est qu'elle se retrouve dans le corps de la future méchante. La question est de savoir, si elle va le devenir ou pas, dans le futur.
Après, il y a une jolie tension sur le devenir de Fiona, un univers fantasy classique, des personnages secondaires qui vont gagner en profondeur dans les futurs tomes, je pense. Au final, c'est un bon manga qui parle de rédemption, de réécritures de destin et des héroïnes complexes, et les illustrations sont superbes.

J’ai adoré lire ce webtoon et m’extasier devant chaque graphisme, c’est totalement ma came de design donc c’était beaucoup trop plaisant à découvrir.

J’ai beaucoup aimé l’histoire même si ce tome est très introductif, je suis hyper intriguée par la suite (que je vais lire aujourd’hui c’est sûr.)

Les personnages me plaisent déjà beaucoup, alors j’ai envie d’en savoir plus sur eux et j’ai pas mal d’attente sur leur histoire, j’avoue.

Rhô la la ! On en parle de cette sublime couverture ! Oui oui, c'est uniquement pour ça que j'ai acheté ce livre en premier abord... Mais je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat car l'histoire est vraiment top !
Les dessins sont vraiment sublimes, même si je reste frustré quand je vois que la qualité d'impression n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous (j'ai souvent ce problème quand j'achète des webtoon malheureusement). Je ne sais pas si c'est moi, ou si c'est difficile d'arriver à avoir une bonne qualité d'impression... Sinon c'était parfait !
L'intrigue est vraiment intéressante. On suit une autrice qui se retrouve plonger au cœur de son propre roman, dans le corps de la méchante. C'est un thème qui n'est pas inédit dans l'univers des webtoon, mais ça marche et j'adore ça.
Fiona, l'héroïne et future méchante de l'histoire, va essayer de tout mettre en place pour ne pas connaître le sort funeste qui lui est normalement réservé. J'ai beaucoup aimé son caractère, vu que c'est l'autrice elle connaît les points fort de son personnage et elle peut les mettre en avant afin de l'avantager dans son évolution. Dans ce tome, on suit le personnage alors qu'elle a 13 ans, pas encore adulte comme sur la couverture (d'ailleurs, pourquoi sont-ils adultes dessus alors que tout le long du tome ils ont 13 - 14 ans ?), elle fait ses preuves et elle découvre le monde qu'elle a créer avec un œil émerveillé mais également horrifié à cause des aspects négatifs présents comme les monstres ou les passés sombres et douloureux de certains personnages. L'auteure est confronté à sa propre œuvre, elle voit les effets que ça a sur les personnages en le vivant notamment et c'est assez original de voir cela. Et surtout hyper intéressant !

On découvre également Siegren, qui est un petit garçon qui a déjà vécu trop de malheur et de difficultés pour son âge. J'ai hâte de voir l'évolution de sa relation avec Fiona, ils sont déjà adorable.

J'aime vraiment l'univers, il a l'air assez intéressant. J'ai hâte de voir comme ça va évoluer ! Je veux la suite !

　　我想這大概也代表費歐娜的人生重心並不在原生家庭，就快速處理落幕了。而另一方面，劇情也必須盡快推動到所謂的原作小說正傳的情節。當然，實際上過去六年已改變很多狀況的費歐娜，雖然滿懷期待可以看到她筆下的男女主角西格倫跟尤妮絲上演世紀之戀給原作者的她嗑一波全糖，但滿心滿眼只有費歐娜的西格倫肯定完全沒有跟費歐娜以外的人談情說愛的打算。

　　西格倫的追妻難題大概是費歐娜的遲鈍與旁觀者心態讓她難以意識到西格倫對她的戀慕。不過西格倫也不是簡單就會退卻的人，在費歐娜把距離劃開、打算在遠方默默關心他的動態時，常以退為進採用苦肉計讓費歐娜改變心意陪伴在他身邊。這部份讓我感受到西格倫的狡詐之處。

　　話說回來，其實我在這部最期待的CP不是跟男主角西格倫，反而跟亞伯的偽父女親情線、或者是回到首都邂逅的麗薇亞與尤妮絲都深得我心。亞伯自從認同費歐娜後，就超級寵愛女兒，還主動上門想結為義父女，提供她一切奢華的生活需求與成長所需的進修資源，有這種近乎無條件支持妳的可靠帥氣爸爸，就會覺得留在家裡當公主不是很好嗎？有結婚的必要嗎？

　　西格倫的長相沒有很合我眼緣，也是我沒放主要心力支持官方配對的原因之一。在看這部漫畫之前，我已在韓漫裡看過不計其數的黑髮男主角。在我眼中，客觀上西格倫被漫畫家畫得很帥氣，但感性和視覺效果上無法激起我的愛。西格倫相貌跟兩位色彩鮮艷的貴族千金比起來顯得黯然失色，這種感想伴隨著「怎麼又是一個黑髮男主」的喟嘆而生。我個人比較鍾愛西格倫小時候的模樣，率直又容易難為情的個性非常可愛，長大後的他會在費倫娜面前擠眉弄眼的耍帥賣肉，散發出渴求努力釋放的費洛蒙能博得費歐娜注意的意念，看了反而覺得有點油膩。

　　而麗薇亞、尤妮絲初登場，我就非常喜歡她們的美貌，紅髮的麗薇亞明艷霸氣、金髮的尤妮絲清純柔美，而且兩人初識費歐娜就有可愛的互動，讓我真的好想在這部看到百合感情線喔！（握拳）我想看到不同風格的美女姊姊們都聚在一起，可惜書名已經寫明費歐娜未來會成為西格倫的妻子。我的百合股注定無望。（淚目）

Un premier tome qui m'a très agréablement surprise ! Je n'avais pas encore entendu parler de cette série, donc je n'avais pas d'attentes particulières concernant ce manhwa. C'est avant tout la couverture et la beauté (et qualité !) des dessins qui m'ont poussé à acheter ce manhwa et je ne le regrette pas du tout !

Je suis une grande fan de la trope de la réincarnation, donc ici on vise dans le mille étant donné qu'on suit l'histoire d'une autrice qui se réincarne dans le corps de la méchante de l'histoire. Problème, à force d'en lire, j'ai parfois peur de tomber sur des clichés ou des histoires qui se ressemblent toutes, par manque d'originalité. Heureusement, ici ce n'est pas le cas ! Bien sûr, on retrouve quelques clichés (par exemple : la méchante a eu une enfance difficile car elle l'est l'enfant illégitime d'un riche noble et elle se fait martyrisée par ses frères et sœurs) mais dans l'ensemble, on retrouve aussi une belle touche d'originalité. Je pense notamment à toutes les réflexions que se fait l'autrice par rapport à son world building et les conséquences qu'une simple phrase dans son livre peut avoir sur la vie des personnages.

Bref, j'enchaîne tout de suite avec la suite !

C'était sympa de suivre cette héroïne plongée au cœur de son roman. De la voir adorer ses personnages ou s'en vouloir pour les avoir fait souffrir. J'attends qu'elle les mette en lumière comme personne ne pourra le faire puisqu'elle les a créer. Je suis donc curieuse de voir l'évolution.

Ça reste cependant un isekai comme un autre duquel j'attends plus d'originalité et d'explications. Comment elle en est arrivée là ? Pourquoi on a pas plus de détails sur sa vie d'avant si ce n'est qu'elle a écrit une histoire et qu'elle en est maintenant un personnage ?

J'espère que de nouvelles informations arriveront par la suite et que je pourrai me plonger dans cet univers plus facilement.
En tout cas, les dessins sont tops et la couverture m'avait totalement attirée, bien que je ne m'attende pas à découvrir des enfants puisque des adultes y sont représentés... Il faudra que je me procure la suite pour savoir comment l'histoire va évoluer.

The story is a typical isekai female lead who became a villainess. In her past life, she was the author of the world she transmigrated into. In the story she is Fiona, a powerful mage.

The male lead Siegren is a tsundere type and it's a cute dynamic with Fiona because she is oblivious on how he feels. Fiona anticipates the original female lead to come into the picture--not knowing that Siegren already has feelings for her. Her focus is on how to survive and her demise in the original story.

I like it because Fiona is not stupid nor helpless. Siegren is not imposing. He respects Fiona's boundaries and he waits for her decisions. He supports her no matter what. I also love the art style. The romance is slow buuuuuuuurn.
