Pretending and lying.
It’s a fine line and a delicate balance.

The bruises on her skin will heal but what about the bruises on her heart? Robin was trying to escape an abusive situation and then she could start the rest of her life. At her new high school, all she had to do was stay under the radar until graduation. What she didn’t count on were the Whitmore Brothers interrupting her plans. Now, her troubled past catches up to her and threatens to ruin her future. Robin has no choice but to pretend because all their lives and (her heart) depend on it.

But how long can she keep up the act?

This book was amazing!!!!! The Whitmore brothers are just ughhhhh and I’m obsessed! Robbie’s story was very interesting to read and definitely kept me wanting to read more! I also liked seeing Kyle’s perspective as well and just getting to see how much he is in love with Robbie. This book was so good and I recommend!!

Clean romance with fun twists and turns. The tension and love triangle were really fun to read and the TWISTS😅 over all I really liked this book I feel like if I read it at 16-19 I would be obsessed with it!

A twisting, harrowing tale of finding love and the extra hardships that coming of age can bring. Robbie tries to keep on track of what she considers the perfect plan to leave her hometown after tragedy strikes. But life is never perfect, and neither is she. There are so many unexpected breadcrumbs that one really doesn't pick up what's about to happen until it does. Loved this book and highly recommend it. Can't wait for the next in the series of this indie author.

✨Another local author is in the books, and boy does Buffalo have some good ones. I loved how these chapters were short and quick to read. The pace never lulled. It was the perfect mix of romance and mystery. I’m also a sucker for multiple POVs! I’m anxiously waiting for the companion novel!✨
