What a fun groups of stories. It was interesting to see that these cowboy/band members can be great fathers even though most of the time they are single fathers. They have to learn how to care for a child either very young or a teenager. The Young brothers are all loud and full of love. It was fun getting to know those featured in this anthology and makes me want to read all of the Young brother’s stories.

I loved how you got bits and pieces of the other brother’s lives when you are reading about just one of them. Just love these little sneak peaks. And it is so nice to read about men who are not afraid to be vulnerable and take over the nurturing of a child they help to bring into the world.

Tex
What a fun story. Tex is the oldest of the Young brothers, a major part of their country band and he worries a lot. He has come home to Coral Canyon with his 17 year old son, Bryce, so that Bryce can finish his senior year of high school living with Tex. When they stop to look at the old farm where Tex grew up and his father sold years ago, they see it so run down and Tex decides to buy it.
Abby, the ex-girlfriend, lives next door to the Young farm which was deserted and left to fall apart. She wants that property and there is a bidding war between Tex and Abby at the auction for the farm. She is living on her family’s farm next door, taking care of her brother who lost his legs in the service.
It is fun to watch how they have to come to grips with how they feel about each other now after so many years. And reading how they juggle their responsibilities and personalities keeps you wanting to find out what will happen. Love the Young brothers.

Otis
I love how Otis is such a star but also so down to earth. He loves his family, daughter, ex-wife and just wants a woman in his life that will love him back. The story starts out with him being ghosted which just breaks your heart. He decides that he will put his heart under a lock and throw away the key.
Love Joey, his daughter, she is so mature for her age and so sweet. She has a great love of books and everything mystical and magic. A girl after my own heart.
Georgia is one strong woman who seems to always end up with the wrong guy. She has a lot of things that she is dealing with and not doing a great job of it. It is great seeing how Otis and her end up in the same place at the right time.

Morris
Morris and Leigh’s story was fun and it let you look at a lot of his other brother’s lives. Their story was like a fairy tale story where the heroes of the story are in love and something tears them apart. You have to see if they will be able to overcome all of the things that tore them apart and come back together.
This story is very different from the other stories of the Young brothers that I have read. Leigh and Morris divorced shortly before his injury that shortened his career. The surprise happens when both Morris and Leigh end up in Coral Canyon and at the same wedding. Morris sees this little 3 year old who looks just like him run up to Leigh calling her mommy.
I really enjoyed this story because it was very different from his other brother’s stories. I would love to say a lot more but it would end up with spoilers, so I won’t.

Trace
The nine Young brothers are all so different but in many ways, they are very much the same. Trace’s story seemed to have more drama to it. He finds himself having to be mother and father to his young son, Harry, after he is abandoned by his mother. Harry situation has a very negative effect on this young child and Trace struggles to find a way to help him. One way is to show that he will never abandon Harry and makes sure that what makes Harry happy and feels that he is loved is always first on Trace’s agenda.
Trace meets Everly and falls in love with her but Harry doesn’t like Trace dating her. So, Trace puts his son first and stops dating her, but they find themselves back together again, only to break up again. This is really hard on Trace being torn between a girlfriend and his son. All throughout Trace’s story, you are also seeing the drama going on with his other brothers. And those things are crazy and Trace ends up having to be the one in charge. This is not easy for him as it was always Tex who took charge. Seeing if Trace, Everly and Harry can navigate through everything just makes his story more fun to read.

Too many people & pronouns

What I liked..the romances themselves were good. But that's it for what I liked. The author wrote about 6 or 7 romances for some of the 9 brothers and 2 teenagers in these 4 books..the confusion didn't stop there. The "he & "she " pronouns were thrown into the sentences so often, I had trouble figuring out who was talking. All of these stories were interwoven with 4 of the brothers in a band, & 2 brothers being their manager. Then drama between brothers, ex wives & children. As if this wasn't enough, the author threw in 2 non- related families and a 3 sister singing trio, none who had much to do with the stories & could have easily been left out. And she threw in brothers of girlfriends, & girlfriends of the 2 teenagers. There were just too many characters in all. After reading all 4 books I still only know Tex is the oldest, Gabe & Morris are twins, I know the 4 brothers that are the band & maybe to whom 3 children belong. I've read books by Liz Isaacson before, but she failed my expectations in this series.

Family Saga

All the books were excellent to read. I truly enjoyed them, and I got acquainted with all the brothers in the first three books I didn’t feel it was really necessary to have a book on each brother. I could have been blended into one large novel.
