A little over a year ago, I went through a very difficult, but necessary separation from my long-term partner and really resonated with Boadi’s own personal experiences from infidelity, codependency, and separations that include children. Learning about attachment styles helped me reflect and make sense of so much lingering trauma that I’ve carried from my childhood. There’s so much guidance and wisdom in this book—and I felt more strength as I reflected on each passage. There is hope after traumatic experiences. I owe my healing to myself and my two sons and I feel like this book provided me with very practical strategies to bring about that necessary healing.
