A wonderful merchantmen's insight into war at sea

This book is a little different to JEs normal fare in that the navy takes a back-seat to the everyday bravery of the various merchant navies who supported Britain and her allies in WW2. A great tale of loss, quick thinking, and triumphing against insurmountable odds. A great read.
