I've really enjoyed reading these Herbal Almanacs released by Llewellyn each year. There are sections dealing with cooking, gardening, DIY, plant facts, and lore. I've learned a lot and plan to incorporate a lot of this information into my garden, how it's structured, and how it's planned out.

Your standard herbal almanac. Some good articles, some less good, but an enjoyable read nonetheless
