I used to watch this guy’s videos all the time. The recipes in this book, for some reason just seem a lot less interesting than his actual videos. I think if you know nothing about food, then this book might be interesting, but I wouldn’t recommend it above something like Americas Test Kitchen or Mark Bittman for learning to cook. Also, no hoagie roll recipe or guidance on that. I did copy a few recipes I found interesting(chicken cheesesteak, al antico vinaio mortadella sandwich), but I would’ve been disappointed if I’d paid for this book, as I got it from the library.
