Progressively Worse: Why Today's Democrats Ain't Your Daddy's Donkeys

Rate this book
If John F. Kennedy, Tip O’Neill, or even Bill Clinton were to run as Democrat candidates today, their own party would cancel them in a heartbeat.

If the Joe Biden of 1992 were to run today, MSNBC would label him “MAGA Joe.” How did JFK’s party of Catholics and union workers become AOC’s party of privileged Ivy Leaguers with “Queers for Palestine” signs and purple hair?

Over the past few decades, Democrats have swung so far to the left that they have little in common with past generations of progressives. In Progressively Worse, bestselling author and Fox News contributor Joe Concha finally confirms it’s not your the country has been pulled far to the left while pretending it’s the Republicans who have gone radical.

Spotlighting key influencers like Gavin Newsom, Rashida Tlaib, Keith Olbermann, and Pete Buttigieg, Concha explains why the party of the hippies is now the party of Hamasniks, why the party against war is now Ukraine’s biggest backer, and why the party of feminists now celebrates male athletes in women’s sports.

Progressively Worse lays out the facts every American should know about the Democrat Party. It’s not even a party anymore. It’s more like the hangover the day after.

"57% of Democratic voters agree the Constitution is a document rooted in racism, and 64% think it is a sexist document that gives men advantages over women. Nearly half of Democrats believe the Constitution should be mostly or completely rewritten." Concha humorously expounds upon the leftward lurch the party has taken the past 20 years, and there appears to be no leftist thought too radical for the party to explore. We now have the elitists in the party taking the sides of criminals over U.S. citizens. It is disheartening to many Democrats that the party which they supported throughout the years has devolved into one which they no longer recognize, and an honest reconciliation needs to transpire before it can be treated with any rational respect.

"Since dismissing it before the 2020 election, the Washington Post and the New York Times have since confirmed the New York Post’s original reporting that the laptop belongs to the president’s son and the contents were real."

And, as you recall, the NY Post was banned from Twitter and Facebook shortly before the 2020 election because of their laptop investigation. Author Joe Koncha is correct when he states in the introduction that this book actually wrote itself. He presents literally hundreds of actual quotes by both politicians and media personalities that were stated as absolute truth and, when later evidence refuted their claims, the speakers refused to apologize or back down from their original claim. Rather than cite specific examples other than the Hunter Biden reference above just read it for yourself and judge for yourself without me or any other person telling you what to think.

I always enjoy listening to Joe Concha when he contributes his opinions on Fox News. Additionally, I read his previous book, "Come on, Man", and really liked it.

In this book, Mr. Concha goes into detail about how the Democrat party, over the last 60 or so years, has moved so far to the left, that people who were Democrats when JFK was president can't even recognize their political party any more!

He discusses how the mainstream media idolizes Joe Biden, Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, etc. and how their "progressive ideology" has taken on steam in recent years; think, CRT, DEI, wokism, socialism, so-called inherent racism, and all other related 'isms' that they tend to purport. He makes very good points about how our country no longer resembles the America that most of us grew up in and how that is bad for all of us.

He demonstrates, with facts on his side, the the Democrats are the original election deniers, but the media does not seem to remember any of that. It's always about Donald J. Trump.

He shows the true colors of Karine Jean-Pierre as the "mouthpiece" of the Biden/Harris administration and how she is terrible at her job.

There is much more to this book, and I recommend to any and all Americans who have any interest in getting back to the roots of the Constitution, law and order, and living a better life, rather than "going off the proverbial cliff" with these progressive schemes.

The author calls out bias in mainstream media and politics, but forgets to be objective

This book is essentially a grievance against liberals and their awful sins. If one was to pop up into this world and read this book, they would be forgiven for believing that today's political climate is only democrats' fault and no-one else. Joe Concha does a good job exposing the liberal bias but fails to mention the other side, the republican party, has been doing the same thing. Sure MSNBC is very biased. But is Fox News, where the author is employed, really fair and balanced? One may wonder if this book was written objectively. For an honest look at the state of politics in America, I would recommend Bill Maher's "What This Comedian Said Will Shock You." He exposes both parties for their bias and bad government as well as calls out the media, all types of media, not just the left or right. I do not want to take away Concha's point that the left and strong media support are creating a mess, he's certainly right. But if AOC is that bad, Marjorie Taylor Greene is, at minimum, equally unworthy!

As a Conservative, I absolutely loved this book. While I can understand some will not agree with the author’s viewpoint, I believe he makes valid points on the inconsistencies we see today. There doesn’t seem to be a happy medium anymore. Political views are one side or the other.

Excellent, and true telling of the Democratic party. The Democratic party was created to oppose the founding of American liberty, and this is required reading for everyone who would ever consider the ubiquitous media. Joe Concha is an entertaining truth teller.

Scary but true. The strange thing is even though the read is current events have changed so fast that it really isn't current. Still it shows how corrupt the democrats are inallways.

Joe Concha pulls no punches, covering everything from woke politicians to politics in sports. We need more of his critical thinking skills in what passes for the media today.

"This book almost writes itself" was said several times in this book. Indeed, it can. There are many examples of progressive individuals, not in fact, using either logic or brain matter given here. it's a rather hilarious and frightening/dumbfounding read.

Interesting read

Well researched and easy read. Recommend the book to see how media can bias point of views on topics and presidential candidates.
