Next in my AM reread! If you missed the memo, I’m rereading as much of this series as I can in the weirdest order ever!
Rereading order so far:
1. Alice Miranda in the Outback (#19)
2. Alice Miranda on Camp (#10)
3. Alice Miranda Shows the Way (#6)
Okay, so I’m bumping this rating up from a 4 star to a 4.5 star WOOHOO! I found that I enjoyed it a lot more than when I first read it, back when I was a kid!
But to be honest, I mixed up the plot for this one with AM shines bright and I gotta say, I was so confused for half the book because I expected something to happen that just, didn’t. Whoops...
This book is what I’d call, a great read but sort of unmemorable (I mean, considering I got the plot confused with another one) I think the main issue lies that, books 1-5 are super unique and cool, but this one is just lacks that a little compared to all the AMAZING ones.
Also I completely forgot the timeline of things, and it’s so weird to see characters before their major development (does that make sense? I’m talking Sloane and Ambrosia here!) I think I jumped a few too many books!
Aaand now we come to the fact I have little to comment about the actual story, save for some super spoilery stuff that I won’t mention. I think I’m too used to YA books and characters that I feel like the carnival folk’s personalities were a little undeveloped, it’s sort of like what I feel with AM in the outback- there’s little character development in the books and no huge peak or surprise moment in the plot. Of course, that’s me being really picky, considering this is not written for someone my age, because in reality it’s still an awesome book to read, especially if you’re not almost an adult! 😂

I love reading all of Alice mirandas books because of the excitement and enjoyment of the characters. Alice Miranda can always see the good in people and I too inspire to be like her. Because of her kind heart she meets friends in this story and helps them find there way I would recommend for ages 8-12 have fun reading
