Just when everything seemed to come together, our lives were damn near torn apart. It doesn’t stop there. We’re dealt blow after blow, and we’re struggling to hold onto each other.
But I won’t let anything tear us apart. I won’t. Not Valentina. Not me. And certainly not the brothers.
We’re going to survive this one way or another. There are no lines I won’t cross, no one who is safe from my wrath. They’ve taken too much from me and they’ll take no more.
I don’t recognize myself anymore, but I’ve never felt more confident in who I am. Maybe this is who I was always meant to be.
Blake Blessing is just a working mom that loves art in all forms, and all genres of romance. Although she enjoys writing romance of the steamier variety.
3 ⭐️ That ending really did not do it for me. After 5 books I feel like I earned a much longer epilogue after that bomb was dropped in the last paragraph. Very unsatisfying 🤷♀️
Absolutely amazing journey! I am struggling with the words to express how much I love this entire series. The finale of Amorette and the Brothers was nonstop action, unexpected surprises, absolute heartache, spicy times, and proof of how much Amorette has changed and fits so perfectly with the Brothers who have changed with her. They tested and discovered alliances and friendships, challenged their enemies, enacted vengeance, discovered some hard truths, but proved they’re stronger together through anything and everything. Now, the last few paragraphs though - wow, they gave me all the chills and excitement. I am floored over the newly discovered connections I hadn’t realized I’d already experienced from another series! I’m looking forward to both of the new series we received sneak peeks of at the end. 5⭐️ 3.5🌶️
Why did they all implant trackers and not use them? They look for Matías’ body, w find it, and assumed he was shark food. They legit all got trackers and never even used them?? Amorette got snatched- didn’t use the tracker then either.

This story starts up where the last book ended. This story was very dark and I could feel their discouragement of always being the underdogs. The writer’s words just pulls you into their world that I did have to take a slight break. After the breather I started right back and found out a little miracle happened. This wonderful miracle is what the four men needed to change their bad luck and to overcome their bad situation. With planning and help from others they were able take back what was theirs and keep Amorette safe. Very well written story that ends happy.
I’ve received an ARC for this baby however, as usual, I’m giving my honest opinion :)
first of all I was desperately waiting to get my hands on the final BB book bc I love this series and universe — so thank you Blake!
let me tell you… this book is gonna take you onde a riiiiide! so many romantic moments that will make you swoon, angsty and heavy emotional moments as well that’ll make you love these characters even more.
we get to see Parker and Little Love finally strengthening their bond and we also get to see more domestic moments between the brothers and Amorette which was so amazing 🥹
we have some WTF moments and action packed situations… you’ll be at the edge of your sear wondering who they can trust and how will they be able to get back at Valentina
oh and we also get some amazing side characters time which was very much needed! they’ll make you want beg Blake for spin-offs 😃
Blake did an amazing job with this one (again) — we have plot, amazing sex scenes, strong and badass characters and a crazy good dynamic between the fmc and her guys.
Amorette & her guys. The last book in this series and it left open some things that will be in the next series. The book started out where Grey, Lafe & Mathias had been captured by Valentina. Parker was shot in a murder attempt on him and Andre outside of the Dirty Dog's club.
The book spent a good amount of time with everyone in the hotel recovering. It was this that made it 4 instead of 5 stars. Parker is in the hotel recovering from his gunshot. Later Lafe is detoxing off the drugs he keeps taking because he's an addict.
We find out that Amorette is pregnant. Not gonna lie but I was REALLY disappointed that they didn't reveal who the father was. I wanted it to be Lafe (so he would have an incentive to stay clean). All 4 of the guys claimed that they would be the dad no matter if it was blood or not. Even Parker who hadn't had sex with her until the day Parker was shot.
After Mathias sneaks out to a secret meeting with Valentina, they all come out and she shoots Mathias and he falls over a cliff. I was legit sad about this.
Amorette's twin sister is found that she was kidnapped. After this her and the brothers decide to go on the offense and go after Valentina and the Institution instead of waiting for them to try and kill them again. I was a little shocked that them killing of Maikel because of everyone he deserved a nice slow unaliving. Valentina was surprisingly unalived pretty quickly too but her's was done savage like by Amorette.
There is a big fight at the end which tilts who's winning a couple of times. In the end, with help from the Dirty Dogs and the Movement (hey it pays to save women these groups cherish), they win and take back over the Institution. They mostly disband the Institution and only keeps the lines that they wanted and got out of the drug and human trafficking. Amorette never finds her sister until....the epilogue. Seems Mathias found her and gave her Amorette's number. Next series is Grace's series and I'm hoping Mathias is one of her love interests despite also wanting him to end up with Mia, daughter of the leader of Dirty Dogs.
I highly recommend this series.

I enjoyed this series as a whole but the last book was a bit disappointing especially the epilogue. But I get it that was a huge bomb I’m sure will continue with Grace’s story. I knew Matias wasn’t dead and I get the feeling there could be a love connection with him and Grace… just a strong theory I have.
The series started where the last book ended. Parker was shot. Grey, Matias and Lafe were captured by their half sister, Valentina who took over the institution with the aid of the heads, including their Uncle and Mia (Parker’s best friend).
Parker is rushed to the hospital where Andre and Amorette(Am) have their blood tested because Parker has lost a lot of blood and he needs a transfusion. That’s when we discover that Amorette is 9 weeks pregnant. Parker survives. Mia helps Grey, Matias and Lafe escape but it’s unknown what game she is playing… what side she really is on. But they are all reunited but their lives are at risk.
Things get tense as they try to figure the next move to make. Mia seems to be toying with them and gives them useless information. Matias ends up admitting that he found out that Am’s sister, Grace was kidnapped but he doesn’t have any other information. Matias made promise that he’d find her sister. He also confessed that he thought he wanted Am but realized it was the idea of her and to fit in with his brothers because he felt like an outsider before but realized that’s not what he wants anymore.
Matias ends up getting shot and falls over a cliffs edge by his sister Valentina. He met up with secretly unknown to the “bastard brothers” and Am, which is revealed at the end that he wanted information on Grace’s location knowing that Valentina had something to do with her kidnapping. His body was not found.
Val tries to pin his death on the brothers and that’s when they start to take action and reach out to their allies with video proof with who was truly at fault. They check their uncles gallery where he ran the human trafficking warehouse to see if Grace was there but found out that he moved everything. Val is trying to find a new lead for drugs because Lafe had blew up the warehouse’s in the last book. She ended up kidnapping the leaders daughter of the dirty dogs to force their hand to ally with her for the drug trade. When The brothers got word about this meeting they try to intercept it but is outsmarted by Val who also runs before they can get to her. Mia tells the guards to take Am but they are unable to but this solidified to the brothers what side she was on.
The last book the plan was for them to take over the institution by bringing down the heads but after one bad thing after another they lost their focus. They decided that was the plan they needed to continue. So they started with Mia getting her to admit here Maikel (the uncle of the human trade) was and once she did Parker killed her and left her at the door step of her lover Val.
They take down Maikel and things seem to be going as planned. Word gets to them that the head of security, Henry is waiting outside the mansion (Val’s place/headquarters). He hardly ever leaves so they see this as their only chance. They decide why not take Val down as well and end this once and for all.
When they are laying siege on the mansion they discover the dirty dogs killed Henry as a gift to them and they wanted Val dead too since they kidnapped the leads daughter (whom they helped rescue). Am ends up getting taken and gets to hear the villain’s monologue (Val of course) where she admits that the reason Am was kidnapped and taken by the human trade was because her lawyer boss dabbled with Maikel in the human trade and thought she overheard something and he didn’t want to chance it so he had her taken. She states her and Grace were taken at the same time but the vehicle she was in was intercepted and she was taken and she did not know where she was. I. Her rage she ends up killing Val and fighting ends.
Epilogue seemed rushed and felt like there could have been more information. I don’t like a series final book to end on cliffhanger and it seemed a bit unfair but hey now I cannot wait to hear graces story and I do hope she ends up with Matias because that man deserves a taste of happiness.

This was a good series - kept you interested, had some shocking moments, as well as some touching moments, especially between Lafe and Amorette. I'm reviewing the series as a whole. This series is very dark and deals with lots of unsavory topics.
The good: I loved how the connections between each character grew and how there was a struggle at first for Amorette to be with all the brothers instead of just Gray. I think his jealousy takes a while to go away, as does Lafe, he says multiple times he doesn't want to share her. I love how they teach her Spanish and make an effort to translate things for her when people are speaking quickly. It goes to show they want to include her. At the beginning of the series, it's a huge issue, and they speak Spanish around Amorette so they can keep information from her - not cool. I love how each of the brothers loves Amorette differently and how it takes Amorette some time to connect fully with Parker..legit until book 4, I didn't think anything would ever happen.
This book also goes heavily into Lafe's drug addiction and how he can't continue working for the institution's drug ring. When he finally breaks down and cries and tells everyone how he feels, your heart truly breaks for him. I'm so happy that Lafe ended up going through with his plan... which was badass and also completely necessary.
The bad: There's a ton of things that happen in this series that I don't think get touched on enough. Like how Amorette has gone through human trafficking and has seen really bad things happen to the women that were with her. She says that "she didn't have it as bad as the others" but was still r*ped, like things happened to her that she didn't want...and that's not discussed until book 4, I believe? Not one of the guys asks her what happened until she sees her r*pist/torturer, and she freaks out. I don't think anyone else cared besides Lafe, and her trauma is truly skipped over.
I HATE Blanca for what she said to Amorette. Even if Blanca believed she was a danger to the group, you DO NOT say that you wish Amorette would be returned to be trafficked. Like as a woman..wtf.
I'm very excited for Amorette's sister Grace's book - it's a long way out, 2025, but I'll be waiting for it. Seems like she has her own group of guys that are protecting her.

This series has been a wild, gritty, slow-burning ride and while I really enjoyed the journey as a whole, I’ll be honest: Traitor left me with mixed feelings.
Yes, we got closure. Yes, each of the brothers Lafe, Grey, Parker, and Andre got the ending they deserved after being dragged through hell and back. And yes, Amorette fully stepped into her power. She’s no longer the morally torn girl we met in book one she’s a force of her own, living in the grey, making hard choices, and standing with the brothers, not behind them. She didn’t just survive she fought. And I loved watching her become someone who could love these four deeply damaged men without losing herself in the process.
Their connection as a group finally felt solid, earned, and real. They’re no longer just trying to escape the shadows of their fathers they’ve found something worth living for. Each other.
But… that epilogue. After everything we’ve been through five books of buildup, trauma, healing, and connection the epilogue felt too short, too rushed, and not nearly satisfying enough. That last line twist? Absolute bombshell. But then it ends. No time to breathe, no time to react. I felt like I’d earned more after investing so much in these characters.
And Matias? Don’t even get me started. He’s been such a compelling, chaotic wildcard through the series, and to leave his story hanging, especially with Grace now in the picture, felt like a missed opportunity or maybe a strategic setup. I’m really hoping we’ll see his arc continue in another series, especially with the hints dropped in the sneak peeks. I know there’s something there with Grace. That theory is sticking with me until proven otherwise.
Overall, Traitor was a strong finale for the core romance and character arcs, but it left me hungry and just a bit frustrated for more. I’ll definitely be following the next series and watching for Matias, Grace, and whatever else Blake Blessing has up her sleeve.
The final book in a morally grey series filled with action, suspense, and intrigue. Book 5 was an excellent pageturner and wonderfully unpredictable. Action from the start, right from where previous books cliffhanger left us.
Amorette (love her name) fierce, determined but a little hotheaded. She comes to terms with how much she has changed, faced, indured, and loved the Brothers. Andre, the infacto leader of them all, deals with so much, and his strengths are planning and his need to keep them safe, but his inaction is not helping nor staying on the defence. Parker is arrogant and willful convices Andre to go on the attack. Grey stubborn and the fighter is over the moon with the little bit of good news. Lafe, the softest of the brothers, they all deal with his addiction and trauma. These brothers are swoonworthy with there darkness, possessive tendencies.
Blake Blessing wraps up this compelling story beautifully and leaves us wanting more from all the other cameo characters, past and future. So many books recently written are mafia related, but Bastard Brothers of Carnage are cartel and all its darkness. Finding safety, love, and loose morals in such villainous men.
Trope: Touch her and you ☠️. Voyeurism. Found family. Why choose. Half Brothers. Trigger warnings. Pregnancy. Found family. Forced Proximity. No MM. Menage. Group scenes.
Quote: “No, Little Love, you aren’t. You’re a shining light among the darkest and most lacklustre rocks. I know exactly why Lafe took you. And I’m glad he did. You may not want to hear it, but I’m glad you were taken. Because we wouldn’t have you otherwise.”
Even the heroes are the villains in someone else’s story.
I read all 5 of these in 2 days… the first 3 were addicting, the 4th was good. Unfortunately, the final book left me disappointed 😞😭
Overall a 4/5 for the series and I would recommend if you like dark romance.
Major Spoilers below but I’m so angry I need to rant
Matias. Sigh. I loved this poor misunderstood character so much and he totally got screwed over in this series.
When he falls into the ocean and they search for him without any luck, I sat here screaming “USE THE FUCKING TRACKER YOU ALL EMBEDDED YOURSELVES WITH!!!” No, instead they are idiots and apparently forget they did this and spend all night search the waters and then accept he’s dead. Wtf. Idiots.
And don’t even get me started on the epilogue phone call. 1 page to find out that Grace is ok and so is Matias. But that he just walks away?!?! When the only thing he wanted was to build a relationship with his brothers. He finally gets that opportunity and then just decided screw it I’ll go out on my own. Wtf?! His entire character goal is leading to that. It makes no sense. It would have made more sense for Parker to have that ending because he always wanted to get away from the business or Lafe because he wanted out. Sure, Matias wasn’t interested in leading but he wanted to be a part of his brothers.
I also hattttte when authors lead you on through multiple books letting you think a character is going to becoming a part of the harem and then they just drop the idea. Don’t get me invested and then not deliver.
This would have gone up to a 4/5 book for me if they hadn’t fucked around with Matias’s character. Like I almost wish he was never introduced.

Traitor by Blake Blessing is the 5th and final book in the series Bastard Brothers of Carnage. It was a phenomenal ending that wrapped things up nicely, but left the door open for Grace's story and maybe a few others! The brothers and Grace are given quite a few surprises both good and bad in this book. However, they continue to push forward to get their HEA at the head of the “Institution”. I rated Traitor 5 out of 5 stars. I adore Little Love and all the changes in her character. However despite the changes she still somehow held true to her core beliefs. I enjoyed watching the men change and even the dynamics of their relationships with each other. There are new enemies and allies that you'll have to wait and see who becomes what. There is plenty of spice with some hot scenes that left.me with toes curled. As always, nothing ever is as it seems. If you enjoy why choose romances within organized crime with darkness and plenty of action you must read Traitor. However, I highly suggest reading the entire series of The Bastard Brothers of Carnage as each book is thrilling. I wasn't able to put it down until the end and then I was sad to leave this group behind. However, I don't think this is goodbye. I'm sure we'll see them dropping by in some of Blake’s upcoming stories!
Finally, something happened! This one still liked to stretch out time, but at least we were able to see things happening.
First off, why did it really take them so long for an intervention with Lafe and the drugs. It was weeks, months, and they just let it go. They all kept thinking he needed to stop and that they needed to help, but they never got around to it?
Second, why was there such a big deal made about putting in the trackers in everyone, and then THEY ARE NEVER USED! Here they are trying to find Matias' body, but they don't use the tracker for that? Sloppy writing.
It felt, to me, that issues that were being built up in previous books were just quickly resolved with a mention near the end. The fashion boys had disappeared, but I guess they popped back up and started working on the club after all? Then there is Grace. To have her missing for so long, then to throw it in there in the epilogue with a phone call is just a letdown. I get that they are trying to build up and tie into another series, but it leaves this story feeling incomplete.
I'm glad that they won, but my question is: why didn't they just go after her like this from the start? They wasted so much time doing... something, I guess.
Overall, I did enjoy these books, and I will most likely continue on to the others.
*RH *Contemporary *Multi-POV *Cartel *Anti-heroes *moralistic FMC *triggers *established harem (4) *slow/mid-burn 🔥 *5/5 Fight to Survive! Well this book couldn’t start worse off as half of Amorette’s harem are split from her and the other half are down and out by her side…not that she knows the dire situation any on them are currently in 😖 be prepared for some shocks! Valentina is doing what she can to destroy the brothers and she is not afraid to throw others under the bus or put them in the firing line if it supports her agenda….including her full brother 😩😩 prepare yourself is all I can say!! Amorette has to keep going and often corralling and supporting her men into keeping fighting when it all seems to be going wrong 🙈 she’s certainly gotten a lot more grey since the first book and it’s suits her 💪 Her men are willing to put their Queen on the pedestal she deserves and support all her wishes 🥰 they also become even more possessive and protective over her in this book 😉😉 They’re determined to finally get the answers regarding Grace and take over the Institution bit can they overcome everything in their way?! Loved loved loved the epilogue…it’s all you could want for the characters 😍
This is the final book in this amazing series and it start off where the previous book ended. What a wild ride this one was. I laughed, cried, got angry and frustrated and i wanted to see what will happen and at the same time i didn't want to let this book end. The author gave us an amazing story and Amorette and the Brothers got the ending they deserved as well as the story the deserved. Fast paced and filled with action this book will break your heart a million times and it will patch you up a million and one. There will be tears....lots of them! There will be anger...lots of it! I loved the way the author let us see how each brother struggled with the hurdles they faces and i also loved to see Amorettes transformation. We do get the answers we were waiting for and we get to see justice. I also loved the lil golden nuggets we got to see from other books of other authors and got to see characters we love and always are glad to see. The chemistry between Amorette and the guys is hot hot hot but you can also see the emotions in their relationship. Truth be told the emotions in this book were high! An exceptional ending!
Great conclusion to this dark Mafia/c@rtel RH romance. From the start this book dug in with the plot and character development. Asking moral and philosophical questions of what you would do or what this main character would do in a certain situation. What characters would do if born in these world. This series is more the the surface of the genres. Enjoyed the different pacing of the harem, the twists and turns. And exploring the different characters. At the end there is a treat regarding the sister of the FMC getting a series from Heather Long. As Blake and Heather have tied some of their book worlds together and co written together but it's not necessary to read anything before this series. Definitely stands on its own. That said Blake has a new series coming out which characters were introduced in this series that I'm super excited for. I love an authors create these worlds that can stand on their own but also have fun tie in if you know. This is a great RH dark romance with plot and is now complete so if you haven't started it start now and if you're ready to finish it start now lol. Win, win.
Oh gosh!! The series has finally come to an end and I am not ready to let go of these broken characters. Their aura keeps you hooked for all five books and the covers do them justice for who they are. Blake Blessing has woven the story beautifully with lots of uncertainties along the way.
This book has so much going on for their journey to freedom and getting life back on track that I was on edge in so many moments. They are finally getting the pieces of their life together for their girl who is important to them more than life. I love how well Amorette had made everything better.
The story is full of push & pull between the guys and the bad guys and they made the story entertaining with lots of spice on the horizon. Andre, Parker, Grey and Lafe certainly know how to make their lady blush and happy. They are possessive to their cores and it’s wonderful.
I am amazed by the way the epilogue ended. I wanted more of both the characters interdicted in the end. I now know one of coming but I want the other surprising surviving character. They deserve their own happy ending. I hope Blake writes them too.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This book is just wow!!! From the beginning to the end you will not want to lay this book down. This is the last book in this series and wow what a journey it has been. I have loved this entire series and this book is the cherry on top of it all. I don't really know that I can tell you anything about this story and not give something away. There are so many things I would love to talk about. Amorette has changed so much from when we started this series and I loved seeing that growth in her. She is not willing to let anything happen to what she and the Brothers have together and I loved that so much. There is nonstop action, your heart will break, there are some surprises. Together they are absolutely stronger together than they are apart. There is also a huge surprise at the end of this book. I can't wait for y'all to discover it just like I did!! I was floored. If you haven't started this series then you really should. This book is so amazing. You do not want to miss it.
I can't believe this is the last book to the series! I loved how much all the characters changed throughout each of the books.
Ammorette has stopped living in a world of black and white and fully embraced the grey areas or mortality. She also embraced and accepted four morally grey men who would burn the world down for her. Though, she did not depend on their protection. She proved that she was capable of taking care of herself and standing with the brothers.
Lafe, Grey, Parker, and Andre have never had easy lives, but they were put through hell in these books. With Amorette, they were no longer just trying to survive under their twisted fathers control. They had someone they wanted to protect and live for. They saw an actual future. This brought them so much closer together.
They all had past trauma to overcome and healing to do. Ammorette was there to help each of the brothers as they helped her navigate their world. Through it all, they created their own supportive, dysfunctional family. This series was an interesting read full of difficult and emotional choices.
The final book for the Bastard Brothers of Carnage is here, and Blake did not disappoint. It leaves off right where the previous book leaves off, so we get our quick answers to those lingering questions of what happened to the brothers now that Parker was shot and Valentina has taken over. With Valentina in control, everything appears very bleak for the brothers and Amorette. Blake does a mastery of letting you know how frustrated and helpless all the brothers feel. And without giving out spoilers, she also gives them hope. She gives them something to fight for. They have each other, they have their family they've created. And that family fights for them too. While there may be some times that you yell at Blake for how hopeless it may seem, we get our HEA. Amorette and the brothers get the happiness they all deserve. There's also a couple more spin offs in the future, and I hope this isn't the last we see of them.
OMG! What an outstanding, emotional and intense conclusion to this amazing series. There was so much going on and so many twists and turns, that I was continually on the edge of my seat holding my breath until the very last page! It was crazy insane, and I had no idea if my favorite characters would come out whole in the end.
Amorette and the Brothers go through so many unexpected ups and downs that filled me with either heartache or love. The bond the five of them have is incredible and only grows stronger as the story nears some kind of happy ending for them all.
The passion, desire and longing contained within the pages of this book had me aching all over! It was deliciously spicy and so freaking HOT!!!
Fantastic conclusion to an amazing series! It was a wild and crazy rollercoaster ride filled with drama, danger, angst, violence, depravity, passion and love. And I loved every moment of it.
I'm sorry, these are easy reads, and enjoyable at times, but the characters are just so so stupid.
And there not stupid in a way that feels like the author is dumbing them down to stretch out the series. They just make the worst possible choices at every turn.
If it was all as simple as brute forcing their way into the compound, on a whim, in the middle of the night, then why the hell didn't they do that from day one? Before the villain had time to hire 300 assassins.
I didn't have a favorite guy in this series. The only time that's ever happened was because I couldn't pick between two or more good choices. This is a first for me, because I can't pick which guy I dislike the least. I was enjoying Parker but he ruined it when
This was a great finale to a great series. I loved seeing the guys evolve and become a team. Watching them become better for Amorette was such a beautiful thing. Normally I hate epilogues and find the information to be unnecessary but this epilogue is what got this book 5 stars. I needed this epilogue like I need a heater in this weather right now! This epilogue was EVERYTHING. Amorette is a badass and I love that in a story. Valentina pissed me off so bad I about chunked my kindle at the wall. She is a carbon copy of her piece of shit father. Well done Ms. Blessing. I will forever keep reading your work!
"This was nothing more than an angry, bitter woman taking out her pain on others. Because she was a heartless bitch and if she suffered, she wanted to make sure everyone around her hurt ten times more." -Grey nailed it on the head.
"I love you, Little Love, I love you so much; I want to burn everything around us until it's just you, me, and my brothers. I want the world to not exist outside of us. It already doesn't."
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
I think I’m a bit sad that this series has finally ended.
This book was so full of action after the shocking cliffhanger on book 4. The brothers and Amorette are fighting for not only their lives but to take back the institution from their crazy half sister Valentina.
There was a sprinkle of death in this one. And by death I mean, Blake practically upended a whole ass bucket of death into the pages. It was great though 😂🤷🏼♀️
I’m mostly okay with how this book ended. I’ve never written a book myself but I can imagine how hard it must be to wrap everything up and make sure there’s no loose ends. I think Blake did the best job with how many plot lines there were going on but yeah, there was just one characters ending that I was iffy on. The rest was great, and I was surprised at a few directions that the book took.
I also really loved the teamwork and growth that Am and her guys went through. It was great to finally see everyone together and work as a well oiled machine. Loved Parker in this one. I can finally say I’d die on a hill for that man 😂
This book picks up where PYSCHO left off, so, it will have your attention from the start. A lot happens in this story and at times I wondered if they would catch a break. Don't worry though, we do get answers to any remaining questions and we get much more!! Filled with action and suspense and some holy sh*t moments!!
You could feel all the emotions in this book and the steam was so hot!! 🥵
I absolutely adored Amorette and I loved all the brothers as well. They all needed each other and I enjoyed seeing them all together.
The journey Amorette and her guys went on had its ups and downs, but it made the ending all the sweeter. The growth as individuals and as a family was huge. Blake gave us an excellent series, with the perfect ending!!!
I am so sad to see Amorette an her guys story come to an end but also very happy with how it all played out. There was so much story that was unraveled. I love how Blake is able to go so in depth in her storyline. Even though this was the last book there was still so many surprises and twists. I loved how Blake made the side characters really come alive in this book and the series as a whole. There was also so much character development. Lafe by far blew me away from the first book to the last. Not going to lie—there was a part where I wanted to throw my kindle but I trusted Blake and she didn’t disappoint. That epilogue…ugh it was just what I needed to make me believe. Overall this was a wild ride and would highly recommend the series
This book picks up right where the other ended and it does not disappoint. This book is full of shocks and answers and smexy and sad and just a bit of everything. Each of the men finds that they are better together with Amorette as their strong center and she finds out that she is a lot more than black and white, she is shades of morally gray too! A lot of the side characters are a bit more fleshed out and I think we might see some of them in future books and I hope we get some further answers to some of these open ended questions that involve them, I think we will see the brothers and Amorette again as get updates on them in other series. What a great start of a world I hope to see more of.
I fucking knew it. In the last book , Amorette was already throwing up and I was like “they bout to hit us with a pregnancy” and lo and behold…a pregnancy. In the first freaking chapters! I know it feels inevitable with reverse harem, but it is my least favorite thing in a RH. But I knew it was coming. All in all, this was a great conclusion to the story. Slight spoiler, but I’m glad there was a happy ending to it. It had its ups and downs, and highs and lows…for sure I give the whole series 4.5 out of five. And literally I only deducted .5 because of the pregnancy aspect…but that’s just a personal preference. Also I REALLY would have loved to know how Matias escaped…though I can infer why he did, for not only himself but the brother and Amorette.
