Maverick Crawford knew that Molly Mackenzie was off limits. She was too young for him...and a Silver Saints MC princess. Her protective father was their president, so starting anything with Molly would cause trouble between their clubs.
But that didn't stop Maverick from taking her straight out of their tattoo parlor and claiming her for himself. Only someone wanted the feisty redhead to belong to them instead.

It was like someone made you read the book from the middle and you know there's a huge part you missed out, like where do they know each other from, or when was the first time they met, and just simply how the fuck do they know so much about each other from page 1???
I honestly didn't like that part.
The same was with the romance.
He looked at her and that was it. Same with the heroine.
And me waiting for some chemistry or a spark between them was like:
Plus this whole stalker thing was wrapped up within one short chapter so they could fuck some more throughout this weird book.
And I was NOT impressed at all to be frank.
And last but not least, whoever told Meghan Kelly she could narrate books, should be fired asap.
This woman sounded like a robot reading a phone book.
I dunno her, so maybe this was just a one-time flub but she made this book even worse for me.
Summing up, I though I would love it but I barely finished and I am not sure if i wanna reccommend it or not.
It wasn't the worst thing i read and it did have a lot of potential but the female narrator really ruined this book for me.
3.5 stars. So fun to see these two together after the ending of the previous Silver Saints MC novella. I love that Molly was edgier than most of the other women in the series to match her upbringing. The sass makes everything more fun. 😂

(DNF) I know this is insta-love, but even at that, this was bare bones romance. It was so dry and I was honestly bored from the first page. Maybe if their meet-cute (if it can be considered that) wasn't so brief, there might've been a better outcome? I don't know. But even insta-love needs to be substantial enough to make the connection work. In this case, I can't see this couple lasting.
Hopefully the rest of the series is better, but I wouldn't recommend this one.
A little meh but romantic and sexy Insta everything, very safe but a little uninteresting…sorry I’m more interested in the President’s next book with this book’s heroine sister… I would love a little more respect for Mac, the heroine’s father and the first MC Hero from this author, he is an amazing President, father and Hero and honesty, his daughter and son in law didn’t respect or consider him enough!

Wow this was an awesome start to a brand new MC romance series😍😍 Molly is the oldest daughter of Mac the Silver Saint Prez and the first club princess . She meets Maverick at a birthday party for Mavericks niece that lives with the Silver Saints. Maverick saw her and instantly knew she was his One and that she would be his Old Lady. But now he has to convince her and stay alive long enough to claim his woman... And not to get mauled by Molly's dad.🤣 Instalove, age gap(10 years), sweet, steamy, romantic and safe with an awesome HEA and no OW drama😍😍😍😍😍 Can't wait for Dahlias and Foxs story🥰🥰
You know what you are going to get with any FD book, and Maverick doesn't disappoint. A quick yet extremely detailed read, with a possessive H and a feisty self assured h.
What I liked: 1. Forced proximity 2. No clubgirls or their drama. 3. No OW or OM drama 4. Always a couple. 5. I liked Maverick's protective side. 6. Molly wasn't a push-over doormat. 7. I enjoyed the two POV epilogues. 8. Cute, quick read. 9. I loved Maverick’s possessiveness. 10. Age gap: older man, younger woman.
Issues: 1. Story was too short. Not enough depth. 2. The stalker situation happened too quickly and was resolved too dang fast too. 3. Maverick was gone too much. 4. There is not enough club drama or action. I didn't get to see much interaction with the club brothers. 5. I wasn’t able to develop much of a connection with the characters as it was more surface-based.

Molly Mackenzie—at twenty-five is the oldest daughter of Jared “Mac” Mackenzie, president of the Silver Saints Motorcycle Club. She’s an incredibly talented tattoo artist—one of the most highly sought after in the area. Her place of work, Silver Ink always has an extensive waiting list. When Maverick catches a glimpse of someone wanting her to tattoo near an intimate area, he loses what little mind he has and abducts her to his clubhouse.
When her father fell in love with her mother, the club became family-oriented, continuing to grow over the years. To the extent they were overrun by children and it made sense to do combined birthdays at the clubhouse. Having three siblings of her own, she loved having bonus cousins who were related to her through choice rather than by blood, despite being sixteen years their senior. Not that the age difference held her back from playing with them when time permitted. Which was the reason she’d volunteered to organise the games for them.
Maverick Crawford is the VP of the Iron Rogues and a decade older than Molly, he also knows that Molly is off-limits to him after her father warned him off.
Considering what happened when her parents got together and their age gap, Molly is outraged by his double standards. “At least he didn’t kidnap me like you did with Mom.” “And he’d better not. We let him get away with that sh*t once, but being Kansas’s big brother won’t save him if he dares to mess with you.”
Having the presence of mind, she has her sister Dahlia and her mum continue covering her whereabouts to her father. Then, there’s the stalker…!
In ‘Mac’ we meet Molly’s parents. There is a large ensemble of colourful supporting characters including most of the previous storyline couples.
Tropes: Silver saints presidents daughter x VP of another club Hot ex army brute with a hot mouth hero Sassy beautiful redhead innocent but talented heroine HEA and kids, Chase, Luna, and Aurora and more? Insta love/attraction but more love 2 hot clubs Age gap (maybe 15 years) Tension at the start was crazy Tattoo artist x ex army brute Club princess x vp of another club SMUTTT IS INSANE ALERT ‼️
They are both at a birthday party held at the silver saints compound and when they are playing hide and seek with the kids their attraction starts there. His obsession starts and he can’t stop thinking about her till he finds out she does tattoos and books an appointment for him only then to kidnap her and take her to the Iron Rogues MC. She has a lot of resilience, if it was me I would’ve caved the minute I saw this man and his hot mouth. They have their little lovey dovey time and fuck fest till he has to leave for a week and comes back and she has a stalker. That stalker gets out of hand when her sister Dahlia who was covering for her the whole time comes to the compound to warn her and is in the middle of the situation when her sisters stalker comes and has Molly at gunpoint. After Maverick successfully kills him, her dad shows up and has his little tantrum but soon gives in when Maverick says to her that they are to marry since they don’t know how to ask a damn question apparently. Her dad gives in and then finds out the club president of the Iron Rogues, Fox and Dahlia have went missing. Her dad is in another time of trouble and maybe a war he has to plan. Soon after that they have 3 or 4 kids together but we’ll say three since they’re only 3 mentioned and it’s Chase’s birthday.
Solid 4.5/5
QUOTES I LOVED:
“The weeks of frustration at not seeing her, then all this bullshit at the shop, and now this guy wanting my woman to basically ink his dick took me to the end of my rope. “Not a fucking chance in hell,” I growled. “No fucking way am I letting you anywhere near my woman.” Molly gasped and swung around to face me, putting her hands on her hips, looking unbelievably fuckable. “You can’t just—”
“Better get her on board real fucking fast. She’s the only person who’ll be able to save your ass from a man the Devil himself wouldn’t cross.”
“Not gonna fight with you, Cash,” I told the Silver Saint in a voice low enough that Molly wouldn’t overhear. “And I’m not gonna stop you from telling Mac about us. But don’t ever bring up taking her away from me again, or you’ll be having a real close encounter with the end of my Glock.” PANTIES HAVE COMBUSTED ‼️
“Twisting around, he bent down to lift his jeans off the floor and grabbed his phone from the pocket. Dropping them back down, he jabbed his finger against the screen. “Yeah?” All I could hear was the deep murmur of my dad’s voice, the words indecipherable but the tone obviously angry. Maverick let him have his say before his gaze met mine, determination blazing from his blue orbs. “I respect the fuck out of you, but coming for Molly isn’t going to do you a lick of good, Mac. I’m not going to give her up for anyone or anything. She’s mine now.” THE POSSESSIVENESS IS SO HOT 🥵
“Never believed in love at first sight. Thought it was a bunch of romantic bullshit before I met you.” He brushed his lips over mine and rasped, “Felt as though I was hit by a bolt of fucking lightning. Straight to the heart.” “It was the same for me,” I whispered. “Shoulda told you before I left, no matter how little time we’d had together. I love the fuck out of you, Molly Mackenzie.” AWWWW SO CUTE 🥰
ARC provided by the author in exchange for my honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Maverick is the first book for Iron Rogue MC series, spin off for Silver Saints MC. This book is about Molly Mackenzie (if you've read the other series, you might be familiar with her father, Mac) and Maverick Crawford. I love the other series but I was also happy to see the other MC in this world.
Maverick is insta-love MC book with a little action that tells a story about Maverick going to a birthday party and being obsessed with Molly after seeing her play with kids. He had a plan to just take it slow and see Moly but he couldn't get her out of his mind and he just wasn't patient enough.
I really enjoyed this book. Just like her mother, Molly was willing to be "kidnapped" but she's also like her father, knows defense and is sassy. Molly even wanted her sister to cover for her with their father. Maverick is a protective and possessive as you can expect from Fiona Davenport's heroes.
I liked that Maverick and Molly complete each other. She needed someone who was protective, fearless and someone who would fight for her instead of being afraid of her father. He needed someone who understood club business and was understanding when he had to leave.
All in all I really enjoyed this book! It was just a read I needed at the moment and I almost didn't want to put it down to eat lunch.
HEA Standalone, series with interconnected characters and related to Silver Saints MC series and Mafia Ties series MC, age-gap, Rival MCs Iron Rogues MC
Trigger/ Content warning Kidnapping (with and w/o consent) Stalking (not the good kind) Hostage situation Pierced mfc Breeding K¡nk (slight)
Maverick Crawford (mmc, VP of IRMC) Molly Mackenzie (25, mfc, princess of SSMC)
Mac Mackenzie (prez of SSMC, father of mfc) Dahlia (sister of mfc) Dane (brother of mfc) Whiskey (IRMC, runs Iron Inkworks) Kye/Fox (prez of IRMC) Pike (member of IRMC) Biscuit (member of IRMC, cook) Blade (club doc for IRMC) Viper (member of IRMC) Phoenix (member of IRMC) Storm (member of IRMC) Jake (prospect of IRMC) Cash (member of SSMC)
Maverick has the unfortunate history of kidnapping women who belong to the SSMC. This time, he didn't take an Ol'Lady. He took the club princess, the first daughter, oldest child of Mac. He's in love, but Mac won't care. Molly is a feisty redhead and makes him work for it. Problem is, she gets a stalker after only one shift at Iron Inkworks. Can he and his brothers protect her? Will Mac let her make her own decisions?
I love these books. Quick, easy read with just the right amount of drama and a dash of dark. Looking forward to Fox's story.
what I recommend? yes. would I read again? no but I will continue this series. the only time I could see myself reading this again is if I was listening to audio and doing like housework and wanted something to listen to but not be super engaged with because there's not a lot to the storyline but it's still enjoyable.
so I have not read any of the other series pertaining to any of these MCS through this author. I do see that Mac has a book also which I will probably go back and read. Mac is the fmc's father. he's also the father of the FMC in Fox's book. but even without reading Mac book I feel like I understood enough at the story and wasn't confused by the characters but intrigued enough that I'm going to go back and read that book.
This book is short sweet not too much filler and instalove with just the right amount of tension. it doesn't live in it and they're pretty chill. it's not a rival MC type of scenario they do have overlapping and family members that are in both. if you're looking for something to entertain yourself for a 2-hour read it's good and it does have smut. the stalker situation was a little weird but it was pretty much dealt with in like 20 pages.

I don’t even know to say about this book. Maverick goes to his nephews birthday party at a rival Mc, and sees Molly whose dad is the club president. He decides WITHOUT talking to her that she belongs to him. Apparently there’s a long tradition of the men from both clubs kidnapping women to make them their old ladies! WTF?? They just go and kidnap these women, but it’s okay as they know that the women want them to. 😱😱😱😱 is this author crazy?
Molly is the oldest daughter of the club president who is known for being insanely protective over his daughters. After the first meeting two weeks go by, Maverick books in for a tattoo with Molly. When he gets there he throws her over his shoulder and takes her back to his Mc. After having sex with her, he takes her to the mc’s tattoo shop and tells her she works there now. Then he goes on a club run for a week leaving her there.
I can’t even get my head round how bad this book is, or how crazy it is. Luckily Molly is happy to go along with all of this, despite knowing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT HER FUTURE HUSBAND! 😂😂😂😂
Molly is the Savage Saints Princess. She is the first born of the Club Prez. She has grown up seeing the men fall hard and fast for their ladies. She knows the story of how her parents got together and she knows how much love her father has for her mother. That is what she has wanted her whole life. She just never expected to find him at a party at the Silver Saints Compound. Maverick knew with one look that Molly was mean to be his. He just had to figure out a way to get her. Funny how history repeats itself because Maverick "kidnapped" Molly the same way her dad took her mom.
Their story is insta-love with of course a side of action and some drama. I loved how well they just fit together. Molly needed someone who would not only protect her but not be afraid to stand up to her father. He took her sass in stride and showed her just how much he loved it. There was plenty of the signature FD heat that we know and love.
This was a great start to a new series, I am so ready for Fox's book next!!!
It seems I’ve been reading these books out of order. So I know what’s going to happen before it happens. But it makes no difference. The love story between Maverick and Molly is too good to miss reading it from the start. They meet briefly and each is mesmerized with the other. Of course, Maverick is the VP of the Iron Rogues MC and Molly is the oldest daughter of the Silver Saints President. They were never supposed to be together. But the heart wants what the heart wants. So…Maverick does the only thing he can do-after two long, endless weeks when all he can think about is Molly-he kidnaps her. And that’s when the story gets really good. This, along with the other Iron Rogue and Silver Saint stories, is awesome. Each character-MC brother and their woman-discovers love at first sight truly does exist. And the men will go to all lengths to protect, love and worship their women. And the women will equally support and defend their men without a second thought.
Molly meets Maverick at communal birthday party being held by the Club. Her dad is the President and Maverick has a sister who is an old lady in the Club. She is taken with him from the moment she first sees him. She wonders if her father will scare him away. Turns out Maverick is willing to sacrifice a lot to have her with him. He is the VP of the Iron Rogues and knows that there will be blowback by her father. He is not really concerned since he knows she will want to be with him once she realizes how deep his feelings go. There is a lot that happens in this book and it did have a few twists and turns. I did like how Maverick didn't play games with Molly. He told her exactly how he felt and let her see the truth in his words. She was pretty good about rolling with the punches and letting him do what he had to do for his Club. She didn't act like a spoiled brat and I appreciated that. A good beginning to this series.
The fun begins when Maverick, the VP of the Iron Rogues MC, takes one look at Molly, and falls hard. Hard enough to ignore the death warrant that will surely befall him for taking a Silver Saints MC princess, the Prez’s first kid, no less. Molly falls right back, paving the way for a passionate, $exy, sweet romance that skirts the edge of danger and intrigue. Possession, obsession, piercings, and ink. Mav will take no prisoners to keep his woman and to keep her safe, that includes standing up to Molly’s father, when he comes looking for his daughter.
This was the perfect start to the series that will feature the second generation of The Silver Saints we all fell in love with. Molly’s little sister is next up to find her man.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my honest review. 🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️ from me!
Molly and Maverick are from two different MC's that are rivals and there's an instant connection between them. Mav claims Molly as his, even though it ruffles a lot of feathers. But there's someone who isn't happy about their relationship, putting Molly's life in danger. Will Mav be able to keep her safe?
Let me start out by saying this was my first MC books.. I went into it knowing it would be a little 'rougher around the edges' per say. But I felt like this book was just too strange... They literally meet and he goes all cave man on her and kidnaps her and tells her he likes her and wants to bang her. I didn't really feel a connection between them honestly. It almost seemed too 'cliché' of a MC book where Molly had to wear Mav's vest, he wanted to knock her up the moment he saw her, etc. It just felt kind of icky but again, this wasn't my normal read. I will say, there was some suspense to this book and a lot that went on throughout that kept my interest.
