“Hello! I’m Michael. Basically, this book is about a really cool dude who’s mysterious and who also may be breaking the law to save his people. By the way, it’s a stupid law in the first place. Who exactly would tell someone that it’s illegal to be awesomely powerful with super cool telepathic, empathetic, and psychokinetic abilities? The complete idiots in charge of the Second Protego, the most preferentially unfair government I’ve ever heard of. Anyway, this dude takes a chance on a brainwashed girl to help open her eyes to a new world and spark some romance, but faces some messed up consequences because of his choices.”

*Insert sass* “How would you describe it, Issie?”
“I’d say that the book recounts the tale of a girl who is satisfied with her life, has a promising future, and knows where her loyalty lies. This mysterious dude, who the girl would describe as a pitiful criminal bent on belittling a perfect society, disrupts her foundations after leading her astray. This results in confusion and challenges the girl never asked for in the first place.”
