I did not read the other books before this one so I didn't know the backstory between her sister and Ivan but from what I gather the sister had feelings for him but he's wanted the h since he saw her
I don't know anyone personally with autism but this seemed realistic to ME
I loved Evelyn and her brutal honesty
I adored Ivan for her, he was patient and kind and understanding with just enough j/p so that she can fly and he's not holding her back
Other bitches crawled out of the woodwork but babyyyyy he only wanted Evelyn
Two epilogues #swoon

H had 2 partners before but he absolutely was not a manwhore
Some bullying and mention of previous horrific bullying

Why is Julia Wolf just the BEST?!
I knew I was going to love Evelyn and Ivan yet I was still unprepared for the new level of swoon that J. Wolf brought to this story. There was something electric between these two, yet their romance was sweet and patient and beautiful. It didn't feel rushed even though I was being edged so hard for more to happen. Haha! It was just perfect.
I can't speak to Evelyn's character from personal experience so take my thoughts with a grain of salt but I was deeply moved by her characterization. Her divergences are very clearly there and felt so real to me. I loved Ivan saw her for who she was and loved every bit of her. He didn't need time to sort it out, he zeroed in on the girl he wanted and waited for his chance... even when previous events get in his way.
I loved that swimming was a sport and it was something they could share. In this whole series I've loved seeing the couples able to share their passions with some less represented sports and activities. It represents Evelyn's biggest challenges and some of her best moments. The bullying she endures to do the sport she loves broke my heart. It was hard to watch sometimes but her reasoning made sense for what she's been through before.
Ivan also has some struggles he's fighting and he's being pulled in so many directions by his obligations to his father. Trying to juggle it all.. Evelyn is a bright spot and a joy to him. I loved seeing how different he was with her. And his patience with their physical relationship was just.. ugh... it was SO HOT..
All of this together plus our great side characters from previous books made this a favorite of the year for me. This series has been such a great time. I wish more people would give it a try. I look forward to whatever J. Wolf does next.

Happy release day!!
Just as I expected, and just like every other book in this series, I LOVED IT! I devoured this book, I didn’t want to put it down, but I kept taking breaks to try and prolong it because I didn’t want it it be over😂
I swear, this series has the sweetest couples, and Ivan and Evelyn were a perfect addition to that 🥹
I feel like I related so much to Evelyn in this book, so I really have a special place in my heart for her. She broke my heart at times with how deeply you could tell she felt about things. I just loved her so much!
And Ivan was amazing as well, he was so sweet! I wasn’t sure what to expect from him as an H based on what little I knew about him from the previous books. He had a lot to live up to to be on par with the previous H’s in the series, and he definitely lived up to them! He loved Evelyn so much and I just thought the way he did and went about certain things was so swoony!
And those epilogues! Julia seriously writes such good epilogues, they always complete her books and I just love that.

I can't even express how much I loved this story! So beautifully written with top tier character development that completely sucks you into the story. On the surface Ivan Sokolov and Evelyn Kastanos don't make sense. She's neurodivergent and easily overstimulated and he's tattooed and growly. But they definitely completed each other. I thought Ivan was perfect for her ❤️. Super protective and able to bring her out of her shell while understanding and appreciating her differences that could not and would not change. Made her brave, but she made him brave too. I loved Evelyn. Loved her relationship with her sister, how thoughtful she was, and how she muscled through the difficult things. I thought they were chef's kiss 💋 for each other and the story had the perfect level of angst for me.
Julia Wolf writes the BEST NA stories out there and I'll wrestle anyone who says differently, lol. My introduction to her was in her Savage U series when I fell in love Amir in Bright Like Midnight and have gobbled up, reread, and bought physical copies of everything from her since. Her Savage Academy series has not let me down, but Jump on Three just catapulted itself to the favorite of my faves list. Seriously blew me away. It was truly the sweetest of slow burns. I laughed, I cried, and went away with a huge smile on my face. If you enjoy great writing and sweet, touching stories, you're not going to want to miss out on this one!

This one was okay, I guess? For some reason, it just didn't hit me right in the feels. I honestly enjoyed the first two in this series, but this one felt like I was missing something, and I can't pinpoint what it is. Probably the chemistry between the MCs? Or because it's a slow burn that felt dragging? Idk.
Don't get me wrong, they have some sort of chemistry, but it's not as palpable as I hoped it would be. Also, Ivan's somewhat mysterious personality in the beginning kind of threw me off. I thought it would be something nefarious or dangerous. I blame it on mafia romance because Ivan is Russian, and his secret outings didn't help the matter. 😂 But when it was revealed what he was doing, all I felt was meh. Like, that's it? That's all the mystery was all about?
Setting aside that, I really did come to like him, as the story goes. The patience, kindness, protectiveness, and love he has for Evelyn were really amazing. Not once did he put pressure on her, and he went along with her pace all the time. He puts her first and always answers her truthfully. I think other guys would probably run for the hills and wouldn't take Eve seriously, but Ivan did the opposite. He proved to her time and again how much he's all in with her.
As for Evelyn, I would give this infinite stars for her. I looooove her character so much and how much she made me smile with her quirks and her thoughts. Maybe because she's on the spectrum, but she's one of the most sincere and honest characters I've read so far this year. She's always straightforward with her thoughts, but never rude when saying things. I love how she never holds herself back, especially when she's with Ivan. Her candid statements, which at times come out of nowhere, never failed to make me smile or wonder how her mind works. There aren't enough words to express how much I admire her for being authentic and for not trying to change who she is. It's adorable to read how she fascinates and draws other people with her personality. But I enjoyed it even more to see how she bloomed from being a shy girl to a more confident person, with the help of the people who really cared for her. Like I said, I just love her.
As for the romance, I did enjoy it when they finally decided to give it a real chance. But the slowburn is definitely a mood killer. Or maybe I'm just not into it at the moment? It was waaaay too slow—so slow that they did the deed around the 83% mark. There was some spark to help with the anticipation, but it was not strong enough to excite me. It could be a me case, though. 🤷♀️
Anyway, this was still a good read. It was fun seeing the gang and how the previous couples in the prior books are very much still in love here. I like that Ivan stood up for himself and didn't let his father ruin the best thing that has ever happened to him. I love that these two openly communicate and never let any misunderstanding come between them. Truthfully, I kind of expected that—I mean, they were young and all. Yet, despite their age, no immaturity comes into play in their relationship. Jealousy? Yes. Immaturity? Pettiness? There's none of that. It was actually nice to read characters who deal with their problems together rather than separately.
Overall, I had fun with it but didn't get fully invested in the story. While this didn't work for me, I hope other readers will enjoy it more than I did.

OH MY LANTA. Hold onto your hats, because this is the most romantic, swoon filled book that Julia has ever written. YEAH, I SAID IT.
So if you've read the last few books in this series, you know that Evelyn is autistic, and she has very set rules and regulations for her life, and if she deters or gets too over-stimulated too fast, it doesn't end well. Her one constant in her life has always been her twin sister (Delilah) but now that her twin is in a serious relationship, Evelyn has really started to ask herself some tough questions, mostly if her life really reflects who she is, or if the people around her only tolerate her because of her sister. I absolutely love the journey she goes through, and you can tell just the level of care this author had for such a wonderful character. Even though Evelyn would always say she wasn't the best at emoting her feelings because of her autism, she was one of the most emotional characters JW has ever written. I absolutely ADORED her. She's quiet and nice, yes, and is always careful around her surroundings-- not only for her, but she's overly consciousness of how others react to her (thank you awful parents and mean girls) but once she gets out of her shell, she's such a hoot! She's not like Delilah at all, and I love that it was really reiterated that she was her own person.
Now Ivan -- omg, he's definitely one of the top book boyfriends. I was initially worried because of the crush Delilah previously had on him and how that would play out between him and Evelyn, but I loved that while Delilah may have noticed him for a little while, Ivan always had eyes for our girl Evelyn. He went above and beyond with how sweet and careful and just how dang considerate he was of her. He was always making sure she was comfortable in any situation -- whether it was diving, an over eager jock, bullies, her own sister and friendships, and even with Ev's own mind would attack her and make her feel too much at once, Ivan was always in her corner, soothing her and making her feel like she wasn't alone. For an 18 year old boy, he sure is more of a man than most book boyfriends I've read!
The relationship and care these two had for one other is just so fucking *lovely*. Honestly I haven't read a romance where two people were connected so much, and I just adored that aspect. Ivan is everything a girl hopes for in a first (and last!) boyfriend, and Evelyn always made sure that Ivan wasn't constantly taking care of her -- that even though she acknowledged that she took a lot of patience, she saw him too. And even if she couldn't get the words to come in the right moments, she felt absolutely everything about him as he did her. It was just beautiful!
We also got to see more Marco!!!!! I legit squealed when I saw him, and the bond that he forms with our girl is just so precious. Omg, I love him so much.

This book was so adorable. Usually I'm not a fan of high school romances, but this one was so adorable when I realized it was a HS romance I couldn't put it down. I was already too in love with the characters.
Ivan and Evelyn were so cute.

Ivan was so protective and sweet with Evelyn! He had such a beautiful way of talking to her and making sure he was straightforward enough for her to understand and no question his intentions.

Gah! I love Evelyn! She was such a lovable character! She was so matter of fact, it had me laughing so hard at time. And the way she got his employees to talk to her was absolutely hilarious! Her communicating with the guys outside of the various and Marco was one of my favorite parts of the book!

THE BEST so far. Evelyn and Ivan are honestly MY FAV in the series.

Full on smiling because that was just perfect. I adored Evelyn and Ivan and how they challenged each other and grew together. Evelyn was wonderfully strong and resilient. I cannot imagine how physically and mentally exhausting it must be to constantly have to adjust to accomodate the world and people around you when they hardly make an effort to do the same for you. I loved Ivan during their increasing interactions and connection and how he was making a conscious effort to make her feel safe and comfortable. No big loud gestures to show he cared, just kindness, patience , seeing her and making small changes to meet her needs like modulating his voice (which I noticed he did automatically in Lou and Beckett’s book), shortening steps to match her pace, a hand on her knee to help centre/ sooth her, the high fives. 🥰 Their story made me laugh, feel all the warm and fuzzies and cry it was so lovely plus as always JW brought the 🔥 as well.
As always the friendships of the SA crew were everything. Delilah and Evelyn and their vast love for each other was beautiful to see. Really liked seeing Bella and Evelyn develop their own little friendship too. I desperately want Bella to get her own happy ending because she is a friendship queen and deserves someone who embraces everything she is.

I'm a sucker for neurodivergent/autistic characters. Maybe its their brutal honesty or their lack of artifice or just the funny things they think of and say it without filters. The h in this book was all that and a bag of chips! Loved her so muchie
Shes on the swim team and the high school seniors need to jump off a high diving platform and he sees her working up the nerve to jump. I loved the way he was so protective of her, going at her pace and always making sure to take care of her ❤❤
He has daddy issues where his dad is very controlling and manipulative. I honestly thought he would be a underground russian john wick assassin, but he was just working at a nightclub for his dad 😂😂😂 There was one scene where hes with his father and he wants her far away from his father so he calls her the weird girl. She's been called names all her life and at that moment, he broke her heart 😭 and mine 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭 She's very good at languages and knows exactly what they're saying. But he explains and its all good.
There is a mean girl who makes her do mean girls homework and I fur shure she waa being mean because she wanted the H for herself.... But nope! She's just a cunt for no reason.

Jump on Three is the third and final book in the Savage Academy series by Julia Wolf, out on March 7th!!
Yall know I’m obsessed with the Savage River universe! I loved this book!!! Evelyn is Delilah’s twin sister that is on the spectrum and Ivan is the new foreign student at SA. In the last book, we know that Delilah had feelings for Ivan that were unrequited. Ivan is just a sweet, kind, and gentle person, and Delilah thought he had feelings for her too so she was mortified when he let her down gently. Because of this, Evelyn refuses to have feelings for Ivan. She feels she can’t possibly like someone her sister once liked and was hurt by. Ivan is so sweet though and has always had his eyes on Evelyn. He proves to be a good friend to her and slowly works his way into her heart. I love the way Ivan cares for her and never lets her feel like she’s a burden🥹🥹This story is so incredibly sweet and I felt like I was under a spell while reading this one. The care and attention that Julia has put into Evelyn and Ivan's story was awe inspiring. The emotions that it brought to the surface stayed with me throughout.

Another five star book from J Wolf. Evelyn and Ivan are so amazing, I just love them so much! Their relationship was so beautiful and written so well. I’m so sad this is the last book in the series, but I’m looking forward to whatever she has next for us!

It had been quite a while since I last stepped into the Savage Academy world and, I have to admit, it took me a while to reacquaint myself with it. Personally, I enjoy reading series in which the books have already been published or are being published with frequent intervals.
Delilah had liked Ivan.
Ivan had rejected Delilah.
Delilah had been crushed to pieces.
I loved my sister more than anything.
Therefore, I would never be friends or anything else with Ivan Sokolov.
Ivan Solokov.
The youngest in the Russian family.
Ivan has been under his father’s thumb the whole life.
Will he be able to break free when his father threatens his happiness?
Evelyn Kastanos.
Delilah’s twin sister.
The autistic twin.
She has been bullied her whole life and her inner circe is small.
Will she finally meet the person who always puts her first?
I rubbed the heels of my hands into my eyes, huffing a soft laugh.
In Ivan’s swift, final exit from room three, he’d left a bigger mess behind than ever before.

These four stars go directly to Evelyn! She was definitely the kind of interesting character that I have been looking for in books for a while. Tbh, my rating would probably have been lower if not for Evelyn.
I have to admit I do not have an autistic person in my inner circle so I actually have no idea if Evelyn was an accurate representation of someone in the spectrum. That said, I can imagine that the life as an autistic person is at least somewhat similar to how Evelyn was described.
This girl was going to be able to get me to do anything she wanted, and I would love the hell out of every second of it.
It meant I had her.
I had her.
That this was real still hadn’t sunk in.
Taking into account Evelyn’s traits, I absolutely loved how Ivan acted regarding them! In the previous books, I was actually a bit disappointed for a while to see that Ivan did not end up together with Delilah but now, I am just happy about it because he is a perfect match for Evelyn.
Also, considering Evelyn’s past relationship with Charles who was a total douche, I am so happy she did not end up going further than kissing with him. And how Ivan was everything to her that Charles was not.
The progress of Ivan and Evelyn’s relationship was beautifully written. In the beginning, it was clear that Ivan was into her but, Evelyn being who she was did not realize it. When he began being friendly with her, she justified it with him being friends with Delilah. Only after she realized he might want more, did she pull on the breaks because she did not want to hurt Delilah’s feelings since she considered him off limits because of her.

“Jump on three?”
“Yes, jump on three.”
One of my favorite things in books is when the book’s name comes up in the book itself. In Jump on Three, I especially enjoyed the context in which it occurred with it being the first monumental moment between Ivan and Evelyn and him helping her get over her fears.
Marco was an interesting side character and I would definitely want to see more of him at some point! I especially enjoyed how he seemed to understand Evelyn and get along with her. Especially since she, unfortunately, did not have too many people in her corner.
“You can take your girl.”
“Oh, I’m not his girl.”
“Sure you’re not.”
I took my girl out of his office, kicking the door shut behind us.
It is no wonder that Evelyn was able to charm even the toughest guys with her quirky personality. I, for one, enjoyed it immensely. I also think we could all learn something important from Evelyn: Be honest and don’t expect other people to understand the hints and non-verbal clues that seem obvious to you.
This book did not have a third-act break-up per se but it did have a bit of a struggle between Evelyn and Ivan that affected their relationship. Both Evelyn and Ivan’s weaknesses were clearly visible in their struggle but in the end, they prevailed them and learned how to be stronger with each other.
What I most liked in the end of the book was that it did not end abruptly and, even though I did not like Ivan’s father, his redemption ARC in the end brought me immense pleasure.

I was incredibly blessed to be able to read an extremely early copy of Jump on Three by J. Wolf and let me just tell you it met every single one of my expectations. I think that the Savage Academy series is one of Julia’s best series and it doesn’t get the love and hype it truly deserves - and this is coming from someone who very openly doesn’t usually enjoy reading high school aged MCs (They’re 18.). There is just something magical about this friend group and I’m really sad that Jump on Three is the last of this series.
I knew going into this book that Ivan & Evelyn were going to be special, but I can honestly say they blew me away. They are two of the most precious characters I’ve ever read and I will protect them with everything I have. Don’t get me wrong, Ivan is incredibly hot and all of that, but I think it’s the way he loves Evelyn with his entire being that really gets to me. Evelyn is such a beautiful unique character and I just knew it was going to take an equally beautiful unique character to be able to love her the way that she deserves, especially after everything that happened in her sister’s book, These Two Wrongs.
When I tell you I was giddy while reading most of this book, I am not lying. There were just so many giggle & kick my feet moments for me in this one, and that doesn’t happen to me often. I also feel like I need to be completely honest and tell you that this one also brought me to tears on more than one occasion. The last 80% of the book was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions for me. Their love story wasn’t without it’s challenges, as you’ll find out - but it’s just so, so good.
This book is releasing on March 7th & I really can not wait for everyone to get to experience Ivan & Evelyn’s love story. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

Rules and order keep Evelyn (h) grounded, and falling for tattooed, mysterious boys is firmly off limits, especially when that boy is her sister’s former crush. Ivan Sokolov (H) is supposed to be just her swim teammate, her walking buddy, and the guy who keeps stealing her favorite study room. But Ivan is drawn to her blunt honesty and quirks, and Evelyn finds herself unable to stop watching him or wanting more.

Ivan was down bad from the very beginning, and somehow that made him even better. He wanted her, but he also genuinely respected her boundaries, and it was the small things that made me fall for him. The way he lowered his voice when he noticed she flinched. The way he realized she was scared to jump and didn’t push her or do it for her. He stayed with her, let her set the pace, and waited until she was ready to jump with him. That mattered. He understood her without making her feel broken. He’s incredibly gentle, protective, and emotionally aware. What really got me was that he was willing to walk away completely if it meant not hurting her. He couldn’t stand the idea of being in her life and wanting her but never being able to be with her. That level of self-awareness and restraint made him feel like a true sweetheart. He pays attention. He knows her needs. He protects her without smothering her.
Evelyn, though, is the one who hit me the hardest. I felt seen through her in a way I didn’t expect. The routines, the missed social cues, the constant second-guessing of what people actually mean. She never masked, not in public or private, and that was so refreshing. She wanted to push herself, but she also knew her limits and respected them to avoid overstimulation and sensory overload. That balance felt so real. When she said it felt like everyone else was handed a script on how to exist and she was left out, I had to sit with that for a minute. That’s exactly what it feels like. Being labeled awkward when you’re just trying to navigate a world that doesn’t explain its rules. Evelyn felt like a representation that actually understood the experience instead of flattening it. She’s incredibly special to me.
Near the end, though, things started to feel off. Ivan asking Evelyn to uproot her entire life and move to Miami felt wrong, especially knowing how deeply she values routine and stability. It didn’t feel like something he would ask of her without thinking it through. The only reason she was willing to do it was because he shut down emotionally, and she was afraid of losing him. Freddie calling Ivan out was necessary and honestly one of the better moments, because Ivan needed that reality check. Evelyn deserved to be considered fully, not as an afterthought. Unfortunately, that’s also where I started falling out of love with the story. Also once it shifted into Evelyn sneaking around trying to figure out what Ivan was doing, and the reveal about his father owning a club and Ivan being responsible for it, I checked out. The tone changed too much. Him beating people up and then casually going back to the academy the next day just didn’t work for me. It felt disconnected and took me out of the story completely. It wasn't a big deal, but enough for me to lose interest.

He’s incredibly gentle, protective, and emotionally aware. What really got me was that he was willing to walk away completely if it meant not hurting her. He couldn’t stand the idea of being in her life and wanting her but never being able to be with her. That level of self-awareness and restraint made him feel like a true sweetheart. He pays attention. He knows her needs. He protects her without smothering her.
“I—” His mouth opened then closed. “I am not drunk now, and I wasn’t last night. I’m just in a good mood and happy to be sitting beside you.”
Evelyn, though, is the one who hit me the hardest. I felt seen through her in a way I didn’t expect. The routines, the missed social cues, the constant second-guessing of what people actually mean. She never masked, not in public or private, and that was so refreshing. She wanted to push herself, but she also knew her limits and respected them to avoid overstimulation and sensory overload. That balance felt so real. When she said it felt like everyone else was handed a script on how to exist and she was left out, I had to sit with that for a minute. That’s exactly what it feels like. Being labeled awkward when you’re just trying to navigate a world that doesn’t explain its rules. Evelyn felt like a representation that actually understood the experience instead of flattening it. She’s incredibly special to me.
“Don’t be selfish, Ivan. You’re under your father’s control when you don’t want to be. Is it fair to put Evelyn there too?”
Near the end, though, things started to feel off. Ivan asking Evelyn to uproot her entire life and move to Miami felt wrong, especially knowing how deeply she values routine and stability. It didn’t feel like something he would ask of her without thinking it through. The only reason she was willing to do it was because he shut down emotionally, and she was afraid of losing him. Freddie calling Ivan out was necessary and honestly one of the better moments, because Ivan needed that reality check. Evelyn deserved to be considered fully, not as an afterthought. Unfortunately, that’s also where I started falling out of love with the story. Also once it shifted into Evelyn sneaking around trying to figure out what Ivan was doing, and the reveal about his father owning a club and Ivan being responsible for it, I checked out. The tone changed too much. Him beating people up and then casually going back to the academy the next day just didn’t work for me. It felt disconnected and took me out of the story completely. It wasn't a big deal, but enough for me to lose interest.

Once the academy setting faded, my interest did too. I was honestly bored by that point and close to DNFing. Which is a shame, because Ivan and Evelyn as characters, especially Evelyn, deserved a stronger, more grounded ending than what we got.

The Savage Academy series ends on a high note with Jump on Three, Ivan and Evelyn's much-anticipated story.
Here, we finally get to know Ivan and Evelyn as we've been hoping for.
Russian student, Ivan, made quite an impact when he arrived at Savage Academy, unintentionally breaking Evelyn's twin Delilah's heart when he didn't reciprocate her feelings.
But it seems it was the quiet, EDM loving Kastanos twin, Evelyn, who had caught Ivan’s attention.
'Evelyn Kastanos was so f**king adorable, and I did not think she had any idea. But I did. I’d noticed a long time ago.'
Evelyn, meanwhile, is preparing to face her fear of jumping from the school diving board as part of the swim team's tradition... when Ivan offers his help, will she take the leap and jump with Ivan?
“Jump on three?” She was breathless, her chest rising and falling in rapid succession.
“Yes,” I agreed. “Jump on three.”
I loved the relationship development between Ivan and Evelyn, as well as how Evelyn's autism was so well written and represented.
Evelyn is wonderful. She says things as she sees them and wins hearts wherever she goes - with the exception of the awful Layla, her bully and nemesis.
It was so wonderful to see Marco from a previous Savage series, and I'm hoping we'll see more of him in another Savage era...
And Ivan. This young man has so much responsibility placed upon him by his father. It was so difficult to see his struggle at times, instead of him being allowed to be young and enjoy himself.
However, his maturity stood Evelyn in good stead, in the way he understood her, always made sure she was comfortable, etc. I loved his care for her.
'I vowed to never make her existence more difficult and to ease any difficulties she had if I could.'
He also says the most beautiful things to Evelyn. He's a typical swoon-worthy Julia Wolf hero, and readers are going to love him!
“I love you, Evelyn. You are my favorite person.”
“Your big, beautiful mind is sexy as hell. What will you do with it?” My cheeks heated. Ivan had a way of complimenting that seemed exactly suited to me. If he’d told me I was pretty, I would have thanked him. Being told my mind was pretty was something else entirely.
And the side characters here really helped to make this book even more special. Bella, with her friendship and support for Evelyn to have new experiences and to not live in a bubble. And let's not forget Sally Forth, aka, Sherlock Sal 🙌😆
And of course, Freddie. I could have kissed him when he gave Ivan some much-needed home truths! He said EXACTLY what I was thinking to Ivan and he really needed to hear it!
Jump on Three finishes another fantastic series from Julia Wolf, but it leaves its mark in this wonderful Savage universe. It's filled with wonderful characters, beautiful romance, and has so much heart, I'm sure I'll revisit these guys many times in the future.

Jump on Three is the 3rd book in the Savage Academy series, and J. Wolf wrote another favorite swoon-worthy hero. I have loved every book in the Savage U and Savage Academy universe. I love J. Wolf's writing, and she always gives her readers the sweetest heroes.
I think you should read the previous book first since it was about Evelyn's twin sister, and it lays the groundwork for this book. One of my favorite things in both this book and the previous one is the relationship and bond between the twin sisters. It is so beautiful.
Evelyn is neuro-divergent, and she has a specific way she needs to live her life so she does not get overstimulated. Unfortunately, she experiences a lot of bullying and hides how bad it is from her protective twin sister. I think J. Wolf handled this with care, and I felt like her reactions/behaviors seemed real and understandable.
Ivan is the Russian student her twin sister had a crush on in the previous book. He really tries to befriend her and be an ally to her with their swim team. He was so sensitive and loved her for who she was. He was so protective and sweet. Awwww... he is a top book boyfriend. Evelyn will not pursue anything with him at first because she feels like that would hurt her sister, but these two were just perfect together.
This is a sweet and beautiful slow burn romance between Evelyn and Ivan. The pacing was perfect for the type of relationship that builds between these two. Ivan builds trust with Evelyn, and he is someone she can rely on. I actually didn't mind how slow they took their sexual relationship because it made their connection even stronger.

She's done it again. Julia has created characters I completely fell in love with, and they wouldn't let me go.
This book was different in the fact that the heroine is neurodivergent, and I was there for it 100%. Seeing what the world looked like from her point of view was an experience I haven't had while reading a romance novel, and I loved it. Julia did an amazing job!
I had loved Evelyn in the previous books of this series, so I was ecstatic to finally get to her story. And what a story it is! If you haven't read the other two books in this series, here is a really quick, but not full of spoilers, review. Evelyn has a twin sister, Delilah, whom she is inseparable from. They were shipped off to boarding school at age 6, and their parents really took no interest in their lives. They have a brother who is older, and their parents treat him so much differently. Evelyn has been picked on a lot in her life, and at their last school, it was horrendous. Cue the move to Savage Academy, on a whole new continent. This is their final year before college.
Now, Ivan, I wasn't so sure about because of what happened in the last book. He broke Delilah's heart when he rejected her. Now I know why. In this book, we get a good look at his past and how little control he has had on any of it. With an overbearing, dictator father, he just didn't stand a chance. In the end, I fell hard for this young man.
Evelyn and Ivan's story was so heartwarming. Seeing him be so patient with her, supporting her and standing up for her, absolutely melted my heart. He was exactly what I needed him to be. And Evelyn didn't disappoint either. They were both perfectly imperfect, as we all are.
This book gave me everything I wanted and so much more. I wish I could give it more than 5 ⭐️'s. It just doesn't seem like enough. Julia, thank you for taking us all on this journey. It was lovely ❤️. Everyone should read this book.

Ohhhh, Ivan will win your entire heart. He’s patient. Kind. Protective. Far beyond anything I’d hoped. And I’d hoped a lot. Sure, he makes a few mistakes, but he learns fast. And he pays attention so he can avoid other tiny errors as he and Evelyn become friends, then lovers, then everything they ever wanted. And Evelyn? She’s blooming into the snarky flower she’s meant to be. Freddie is 100% right about her, and I adore him for being the support and voice of reason when necessary.
It’s easy to forget that these kids are students. But then they say or do something to make me remember that they’re young and finding themselves. Some have more to find than others, and every new discovery for Ivan and Evelyn is important. They aren’t all sunny discoveries, but that makes this even better because life isn’t always sunny. But just when you think you’re okay, we’ve made it, all is right, the epilogue will slay you. I don’t mean in a bad way at all, but in the “some things change, others can be left behind to forge something new” way that Ivan and Evelyn both so richly deserve.
Add in Marco and Bella and their unwavering friendships and I was utterly hooked to the very last word. Enjoy this ride and be sure to hold on because it’s a tad rocky once or twice!

Knowing from previous books Evelyn is autistic, I was very much looking forward to this book. I like that characters are very real, and neurodivergency is very real for many people. In most books dealing with this type of matter, I often find it’s like the author was just scratching the surface, not really knowing what neurodivergency is.
But not in this book. There are the little details, this weirdness that spooks others and lead to this intolerable bullying most autistic people will experience. I think the bullying as described here is nowhere nearly as hard as it would be in real life, but the way it’s written makes it tolerable (low harshness, no everyone indulging in, the way Ev reacts with a relative no-care). The good description of the way autistic persons can be very obsessive to the point of being stubborn even in bad decisions anyway led to some parts being, logically, a bit long to come to the point.
Ivan is everything I hoped he would be. The good guy, protective but not over-protective, letting Evelyn go out of her comfort zone even if he doesn’t like what it implies, respecting her and her needs, making adjustments like everyone shall do in real life. Though he is not flawless, he is that great guy you’ll like right away as a book-boyfriend, because of a ton of little details that make him very real.
I’m not much into high-schoolers, usually, much because most of the time authors will describe them as way too mature. I must admit these two characters might be too mature as well for high-schoolers, but I liked it. I most probably would have loved it more would they be in college and maybe two years older, but that’s a detail and my personal taste.

Jump On Three is a remarkable read in that the story will stick with you long after you turn those last pages of the book. This author’s talent lies in creating an original story with relatable characters, and this novel definitely checks off all of those boxes. Her writing slayed me as I was immediately drawn into Evelyn’s world and she is now one of my favorite heroines. Her unique way of seeing, feeling, and experiencing the world was expertly brought to life on the pages and I adore her character for her strength and huge heart. As for Ivan, I am completely enamored with him! Where was this guy when I was in high school? He is the ultimate boyfriend with his charisma and attractive qualities that make him the perfect hero of this novel.

Julia DID. IT. AGAIN!
I loved every second of reading Evelyn & Ivan’s story, it was perfect, HE was perfect. This story drew me in instantly & I thought Julia did a beautiful job at writing these characters, especially Evelyn. Julia keeps surprising me w/each new book she releases. Just as I think I’ve found my favorite couple f/her, she creates another that amazes me!
Ivan caught my attention in the other books, & seeing how much I loved Rhys & Beckett, I was excited to get to know Ivan! I fell so hard for him. How he cared for & treated Evelyn, he was so swoon worthy- especially w/his feelings towards them having sex for the first time. These two were as different as different can be, but some how they complimented each other perfectly & were amazing together. I loved watching her grow & become more confident. Ivan couldn’t have been more perfect for her as he didn’t want her to change- he accepted her as she was! That was so incredible & beautiful.
The one thing I was looking forward to seeing most was the moment Ivan put Layla in her place! That was great to finally see. I couldn’t stand watching her treat Evelyn so horribly.
Everything about this book f/Freddie & his humorous personality- which I love, to Rhys & his attempt at knitting, it was all perfect. And I loved seeing the affection Marco had for Evelyn.
This was another great read f/Julia & I cannot wait to see what comes next!

This book will be living rent free in my head for the rest of my life. Is it possible that I found my fave read of 2024 already?? I'm not ready to move on, I don't even know if I can.
After These Two Wrongs, I was kinda feeling uggghhh about Ivan. I didn't know how Ivan and Evelyn would go together - I couldn't see it. But I should have trusted the wizardry and magic that is Julia Wolf coz this story was EVERYTHING.
I finished this book at my desk at work - full out ugly crying, sobbing with snot running down my face. There was a line in the epilogue that almost took me out And cue the sobbing
Seriously the care that went into the story was incredible - to see Evelyn absolutely grow and become even more - was just so powerful. Seeing how she navigated the world, knowing she would always have to change and adapt for the world/people who would not do the same for her. I'm sure that a lot of us can see ourselves in Evelyn.
