Two colleagues. One conference. No strings attached?

Jules lives in her comfort zone. Years ago, taking a risk left her dumped and heartbroken, and now the status quo is her safe space. It's not so bad. She lives with two awesome friends, has a manageable crush on Cameron, a colleague she's never met in person, and her job ... well, she used to love her IT job at a publishing company. Now it feels like ticking a box. So when she's asked at the last minute to attend a conference, she figures it could be the thing she needs to reinspire her. When she finds out Cameron is coming with her, it becomes something else, a chance to see if Cameron likes her back.

Cameron left his last workplace abruptly after a break-up gone wrong. In a new city and a new team, he's content to keep everyone at arm's length so there's no chance of the past repeating. Except for one person in the IT department who always answers his calls for help, and shares his humour and taste in music. But they've never met face-to-face, so it doesn't count. Until they get sent to a conference together and suddenly, Cameron realises it does count. A lot.

Thrown together away from the office and their colleagues, Jules and Cameron decide to have a conference fling. It's risk-free and has a guaranteed amicable ending - but emotions are never predictable. When Jules starts wanting something more and Cameron struggles to keep Jules in the 'friends-with-benefits' box, they must decide if a relationship is worth risking their hearts again.

Georgia is an Australian romance author who writes heartfelt and steamy contemporary romances. Her stories feature competent heroines who are still figuring out what they want from life, and heroes who’ve got emotional baggage to unpack.

When not consuming copious amounts of pop-culture (mostly romance novels), she can be found singing in a choir, eating an endless amount of carbs, or being overly competitive at board games and trivia.

Georgia’s debut novel, Four Night Stand, released in March 2024. It’s a spicy, forced proximity workplace romance set in Sydney, Australia.

Her steamy Christmas romance novella, Checking You Twice, is out now in eBook and paperback.

*I received this ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Eh this was fine. I loved that it was Australian, and as far as smut goes, it was really well written and not nearly as cringy as some writers can be. I wasn't super invested in the characters and romance, though, to be honest, and the conflict over the last quarter of the book was essentially pointless and kind of felt like a waste of time.

For me this was almost but not quite there, so I'd be intrigued to read Moore's books in future, as I reckon with some tightening in terms of plot she could be a really good author.

A hoot and a holler! The rare combination of sexy (looking at you opera house scene) AND smart, a must read for the miscommunication trope haters in the crowd. I promise you will Not Be Disappointed.

I was intrigued by this one right from the start - that fun blurb, the tropes and then the super cute cover 😍💛💜

I requested this one on Libby and was so happy when it arrived less than a day later! 🥳 (any other Libby readers out there?? Request this!!)

So, back to the story. Jules has a crush on Cameron. She's only heard his voice on the other end of the phone ..

Cameron keeps everyone at arm's length ... except for Jules, who always answers his phone calls and brightens his day.

I loved how, when they eventually did meet in person, sparks immediately flew. And then they are sent on a work conference together! Yay! Love a good forced proximity situation 😍🥰

This is a fantastic debut, an Aussie author to look out for!

Four Night Stand was a book that I was SO EXCITED to read, and it met my super high expectations!
I love the fact that Jules was attracted to Cameron over the phone. His voice was enough for her to catch feelings! I'd do anything to hear it!!
Cameron recently had a bad breakup and left his previous workplace abruptly. His confidence is shattered and after moving due to the above, he's quite lonely.
A work conference in Sydney has forced them to finally meet in person and things heat up rather quickly.
Is it just a fling? Or is it more?
It's a four night stand!

I love supporting Aussie authors!!

A fun, easy to read Aussie workplace romance set in Sydney. Albeit quite predictable, it's the perfect read for summer, for after reading something super dark and heavy, or if you're just into a fun romance! The characters were likeable, the storyline and plot were pretty unique to what I've previously read, and I love that you can really visualise the locations (I think being Australian is a bonus here). However one thing that irked me is what happens in the late stages of the book, as it's a big book idk for me!

One more thing is the formatting of the book. I reallllly hope it has a final stage edit before publication because it very much looked like a high school essay before editing and changing the font to Times New Roman...

Bottom line: a great debut and support Aussie authors!

Thank you NetGalley & Escape Publishing for the ARC in exchange for feedback & a review.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this rom-com from the publisher pre-release via NetGalley.

I’m always here ready to support Aussie authors, especially debut ones and Georgia did not disappoint!

I loved the feel-good vibes of this book, it was overall a cute romantic story that I’d love to see adapted into a chick flick one day 😁

It reminded me of The Hating Game, in the sense of Cameron’s insecurities being like Josh’s but without the enemies to lovers plot line, which was honestly refreshing. Cameron was a cutie pie who falls in love too easily and is scared of being hurt; I absolutely love seeing that type of male character.

I did feel that Jules and Cam’s chemistry was a little forced into the “Insta-love” trope, I think there needed to be more time for them to have that deep attraction because the opening was great and then suddenly the majority of the book was just about them only thinking about getting each other naked. I’m aware that that is a huge part of the romance genre but again, I think it was more a pacing issue where the chemistry could have been developed just a little bit longer because the characters had depth and I enjoyed being in both their mindsets.

The writing is on the wall, folks. We all know what’s going to happen with smitten colleagues.

Most of the setting of this novel is at the conference in Sydney. I thought that with this being a workplace romance, that we’d have more of the inner workings of their mutual employer and there would be casual flirting while overcoming company issues and presentation pot holes.

While the premise of the novel isn’t hard to miss, there is also depth to our two main characters that round out the story from the fun found on the surface. Anxiety, fear, and baggage are ever-present throughout the novel. Our characters need to deal with their past before they have a shot at a successful future.

Four Night Stand” has very quick pacing. The characters are pretty much always on the move, which lead to faster page turning to see where they’d be heading off to next. I do wish that there would have been a little more groundwork laid about Jules and Cam’s phone relationship prior to them meeting at the announcement of their trip. Laying the foundation with some on the page flirting might have helped me buy in more to their happy ever after.

I would recommend this novel to anyone looking for a workplace romance, some fun girl talk, or anyone looking to get a quick hit of that Australian charm.

I am always up for an opportunity to read a romance written by an Aussie author. Not only can I get lost in a good story with some heat, but I can take an armchair adventure to a different country. This book describes a number of prominent places in Sydney and includes some Australian words that were new to me.

Four Night Stand is a workplace romance between Jules and Cameron from two different departments in a large publishing house in Canberra that have been selected to attend a conference in Sydney where each will give a presentation. They have spoken on the phone many times over the past six months but have never met in person. Past relationships have left both of them scarred.

They meet for the first time traveling in a rental car from Canberra to the conference in Sydney and decide to have a four day “fling” while there. What follows is a delightful romantic romp with a few ups and downs joined by a great cast of friends and family. The highlight is the trip to the Sydney Opera House to hear the symphony perform.

I very much enjoyed reading this book but felt that the inner thoughts of the main characters might have been described in greater lengths than necessary and bogged the book down a bit.

This was a good read however I don’t think it was for me! I really do like Jules & Cameron especially the way they met and the fling they had and it finally being turned into a relationship however I found it hard with the whole miscommunication and trying to pick it up don’t get me wrong I love the whole work fling but it wasn’t like what I’ve read before I did enjoy the romance/spice but the story it felt like something was missing for me but I did enjoy this it’s not a bad book it just wasn’t screaming at me 😫 also it was a short book so I found it hard to take it all in this is no hate on the author because I did enjoy this book! 🤍

Quotes I loved:
“I want to be with you in every way two people can: emotionally, romantically, physically. I'm asking you to be my boyfriend. I'm asking you to not run from us.”

“He's going to lay his heart bare for Jules because holy hell does she deserve it.”

“I want the chance to love you, Jules. I've been fighting the feeling for a while but I don't want to anymore. I can't. Because I feel too much for you.”

Tropes:
💗 Workplace romance
💻 She falls first he falls harder
💗 Fling-to-lover
💻 Set in Sydney

Ok, so I love a good little romance with some steamy hanky panky . . . This book def has that.

Interesting premise, two colleagues who have been talking on the phone for 6 months finally meet in person and get sent on a conference together.

Sparks fly, sure, and then they agree to a no strings attached conference fling. We'll, sure that stuff is all fine. Buuuut, they both harbour feelings for each other, miscommunication ensues, and then we wonder if they will get their happily ever after?

What let this down for me was the back stories of Jules and Cameron and their previous misfortune in love. Just not overly convincing, and I felt meh about the whole thing.

But an easy weekend read.

This book!!!!!!
So cute and some real laugh out loud moments. I thought the dialogue really shines through so naturally in the book. It really made the characters feel so real. I loved the conference setting, bit of a spin on the classic workplace romance.
Jules is such a great character, love that she's feeling under-stimulated at work. So good for her!

this felt smart and fun!! also more spice than i was expecting, but oh well 🌶️ a little too much over-reliance on the classic miscommunication trope, which can be utterly boring at times, but i guess it was only set over about a week. my one gripe: they drive from Canberra to Sydney and there's about three lines of dialogue, then suddenly they're in Sydney. this feels like a betrayal to the boring, LONG Hume Highway and I'm not here for it. no maccas stop??? no one sits in silence for three hours like that thank u!!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an early copy of this book! Below is my honest review.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Summary of the plot:

Cameron and Jules work for the same company, different departments. Cameron always seems to have technology issues, so he often calls Jules (who works in IT) for help. Over several months (before this book begins), they’ve been talking to each other over the phone. One day, they’re both sent to a 4 day conference, thus forced to spend time with each other. Once they find out how the other person looks like, they instantly become attracted to each other.

So they agree to a fling (sorta) for the entire time at the conference. Of course, they develop feelings for each other, but they can’t be together due to miscommunication reasons (more so the guy’s fault) and personal reasons.

Thoughts:

I feel like this book was a pretty standard romance novel. Nothing completely wowed me, nor did any of the characters peak my interest.

I felt little chemistry between Jules and Cameron outside of physical attraction. Most of the time, they’re having sex or talking about sex. Sometimes they have conversations outside of sex, but that was pretty uncommon.

Personally, I like when there’s another plot outside of the romance, such as work conflicts or family problems. This book did not have any of that, which made the characters kinda boring. It just seemed like their lives were about their relationship status and how much sex they were getting. Even the side characters enforced that concept. Any time the side characters were talking to the main characters, it was 99% of the time about their sex life.

I also had an issue about Cameron being upset for “being used for his body” by Jules, but his lack of personality really doesn’t give much for Jules to work on…. because like I said, they pretty much only ever have sex.

Overall, this was an okay book.

Georgia Moore’s debut is finally here & it delivers on all the sweetness, steam and delicious sexual tension promised!

I’ll preface this review by acknowledging that I know Georgia & I always look forward to seeing her at catch ups. I love supporting friends & I love supporting Aussie authors, and Georgia is both of these things, so I do hope you enjoy my review!

Georgia was praised by Australian romance royalty Clare Fletcher & Karina May on The Rom Com Pod for her ability to write sexual tension & sexy scenes & they are absolutely right! The tension builds across a Sydney work conference where colleagues Jules & Cameron agree on a ‘conference friends with benefits’ arrangement & soon become overcome by lust.

The premise of the story is set out immediately within the first few pages & I love that the back story revealed the history between the two lovers (though I admit that I would have loved to have seen more of these two interacting at work in the lead up. I’d have happily read a few more chapters!)

FOUR NIGHT STAND is fun, steamy and heartfelt - everything I want from a romance read! It’s set mostly in Sydney & I do love a hometown book!

Romance readers, you must check out this Aussie debut!

This sexy and sweet rom-com will have you double-guessing the voice at the end of the phone and begging your boss to send you off for a conference.

Deciding a fling is the risk-free entry back into dating they both need after being burned by previous relationships, Jules and Cam embark on a steamy weekend during a work conference — realising too late that emotions very rarely listen to logic. Jules and Cam are equal parts tender vulnerability and sizzling spice in Moore’s debut, and I’m here for it!

Spoilers, because I wanna rant about how much I LOVE this book!!!!

---
First of all the characters!!!
Jules:
She is an amazing character, she can hold her own!! She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to ask for it. When their arrangement went south and Cameron pushed her away, she didn't just sulk over him. Yes, she may have been sad about it and have a cry (Which is super healthy!), but she also keeps living her life, she reaches out to her friends and talks through the situation, she is an independent woman who doesn't need a man, trying to date Cameron or hook up with Cameron isn't her whole personality! She still tries to continue on with her life, even if she's sad.
"And when he's in her thoughts, that ache in her chest pulses not ready to give up. But how long can she wait for him to make his move? She doesn't want to miss out on opportunities again or become stuck in her comfort zone. If he doesn't reach out to her, or he does but it's to confirm his original choice, then she'll have to move on."
It may suck but she knows she can make her way through it. (Luckily she doesn't have to!!! I would cry if they didn't end up together!)
I love her confidence, her independence and her personality, she's an amazing female lead and really enjoyable to read!!!

Cameron:
He is the epitome of that meme that goes "Oh it's adorable... oh it's traumatised"
Braden messed him up, but he still is a kind-hearted soul instead of dark, brooding and mean. He's got a slight problem with running away from his problems, physically. But he is able to recognise his mistakes, and he apologises. He struggles to talk about his problems, but he puts in the effort to explain to Jules, he didn't need her to accept his apology or forgive him, he just wanted her to understand the situation and not feel like she should be at fault, he wants her to feel better! He isn't apologising to make himself look better, he is genuinely apologising because Jules deserves one and he fucked things up, he had to acknowledge it and take accountability for his actions! God I love a man who is aware of things like this!!!! He just treats her so right, because being traumatised is barely an excuse for acting shitty and he knows it. (After his sister telling him it wasn't too late, he was so scared to talk to her, but he did it anyway because he realised that Jules deserved it)

Mateo:
Another example of an emotionally aware man. I. Love. It. Mateo was raised RIGHT. He listened to Cameron about his problems, offered genuine advice, and helped him to open up more. He didn't just tell Cameron to just brush it off and find another girl to fuck (Which unfortunately is something some men do sometimes -I said some, not ALL men, please don't attack me!), in a world full of boys, Mateo is a frickin gentleman
Chloe and Carrie:
They are such meddling sisters and I thank them for their services haha
I love how they're such believable siblings (Chloe, Carrie and Cameron), they joke around and tease each other but also, they have each other's backs and aren't afraid to help out or set someone straight. They travelled all the way from Sydney to Canberra to talk some sense into Cameron!!! That is some sibling dedication!!!!

Braden:
She can go away <3
She doesn't seem to have grasped the concept that once you lose someone you can't just have them back! Like leave my boi Cameron alone, HE DOESN'T WANT TO HOOK UP WITH YOU AGAIN
I don't like her much, probably because she is written so well to play her role.

---
The Story!
ADORABLE!! Jules and Cameron we're pining over each other from the very beginning!!! They were so cute and they were obviously so comfortable around each other and just clicked very well. The chemistry was there!
I legit couldn't put the book down! This is the fastest I've read a book this year!!!! I got so invested I just had to know what was going to happen between the two next!
I got like 75% through the book and everything was all tickety-boo and they both were planning on confessing and I frickin KNEW something was gonna go down, which it did! But I wasn't frustrated I just wanted to know how they'd get through it! Like I said I couldn't put the book down!
Cameron's trauma was talked about in a very mindful way (very demure, very mindful), it wasn't just something thrown in to make the story interesting, it was a part of Cameron's character not just an added quirk and I think it was done very well!
Another thing that I just ADORED about this book is that both Jules and Cameron said they "wanted the chance to fall in love", it didn't dive straight into 'oh my gosh I love you!' straight away, they had been properly developing their feelings for like five days, I really like this because it's like they are a real couple, they're not jumping straight into love, they want the chance for it to develop into love because love doesn't just happen straight away! I really loved that and honestly, it might be one of my favourite things in this book!
I know it's a smut book, they literally have a four-night stand, but this book is so much more than just them having sex, there is an actual story and characters that you care about, sure it's an added bonus but it's still a story instead of just 'smut with no plot',
I fell in love with the plot and I fell in love with the characters!

Anyway, I loved this book,
I will 100% be reading it again sometime soon, that is a threat :)

What happens at the conference, stays at the conference… right?

For months now, Jules has been swooning over a guy in different department at the publishing house she works at. She’s never met him and doesn’t even know what he looks like. But his voice, humour, and music taste has her crushing on him hard whenever he calls for IT help. When she’s asked to attend a conference to fill in for her boss, she’s excited at the prospect of finding new inspiration in a role she’s starting to feel is becoming stale. And adding to the excitement is meeting her conference buddy, Cam, who just happens to be her unseen office crush. The pair are excited by the prospect of finally getting to know one another, but things take an awkward turn on the drive from Canberra to Sydney when Jules mentions having a ‘conference fling’, a suggestion by her besties to finally get back on the horse. The last thing she expects is Cam to agree to be her fling for the four days of the conference. But between meddling siblings, former colleagues and long-held feelings, it’s not long before the lines between a fling and something more are blurred, and Cam and Jules are soon faced with the reality of leaving the conference bubble.

Office and workplace romances are an absolute VIBE! Georgia’s debut novel serves up everything to love about a workplace romance but make is Aussie! This was such an easy and fun romance, with a healthy splash of spice, as we take the romance out of the office to a conference where anything goes for those four days of the conference…

I was hoping for so much out of this book, but it just didn’t really hit the spot - it felt like it was missing something, but I can’t really put my finger on what that was. Cam and Jules had some sweet chemistry, but I kind of wish we had gotten to see a little of their relationship and connection when they were just flirting over the phone before they met face-to-face. At times, their pairing didn’t quiet hit the mark, but I think it could have been better had we truly seen the evolution of their relationship, rather than just hearing about that initial connection after the fact - two co-workers falling in love over the phone, having never met in person, then they find out they’re spending the week at a conference together? THAT’S the kind of office romance that’s swoon-worthy! We skipped over the feet-kicking fluff that would have added so much more to Cam and Jules’ story.

In saying that, once we got into everything, Cam and Jules did have some sweet chemistry, some very swoony moments, and plenty of spice, which you would definitely expect in a book about colleagues hooking up while at a work conference! Out of the bedroom, the pair have an easy banter and a massive love of 80s synth-pop. Their drawn-out miscommunication about the parameters of their relationship did bring down their chemistry a little, but I enjoyed how their stories came together in the end.

Now, while I read mostly books set in first person, I’m not opposed to romance written in 3rd person. But recently, a tweet went around the book community where someone was complaining about not knowing that a book was written in third person and present tense, and that they couldn’t read and enjoy the book because of it. I hadn’t really given much thought to how a POV is written in terms of person and tense, but I couldn’t help but notice it when reading this, which did annoy me a little - I definitely wouldn’t have given it a second thought had it not been a talking point in the book community recently! I couldn’t totally vibe with the writing, and I don’t know if that’s down to Georgia’s writing style or being overly aware of the person/tense it was written in… I’ll have to give Georgia another go with her next release!

If you’re a sucker for workplace romances and what to get some more romance set in Australia on your TBR, this is one you definitely need to check out!

Four Night Stand- (some spoilers)

This book was so FUNNY some moments I just laughed out loud esp the interactions between Jules and her friends. Overall it was an enjoyable and entertaining to read. Both characters had to overcome personal obstacles that prevented them from moving on in their lives. I also loved Camerons relationship with his sisters. I. saw growth in his character (even though it was short amount of time this book covered.

About two work colleagues Jules and Cameron- both having experienced bad breakups from their previous relationships decide to have a "no strings attached" relationship during their work conference. Jules -who works in the IT Department -has had a crush on a mysterious coworker whom she has never met face to face. When is has to go to a work conference and present on behalf of her coworker who. is out on maturity leave she is informed she will be attending the conference with Cameron and finds out quickly he's the person she had a crush on. After getting advice from her friends/roommates- Jules decides instead of putting pressure on herself to pursue her feelings for Cameron she brings up the idea of hooking up. during the conference.

Cameron who recently moved and started to work for the company has also had a crush on the mysterious IT help desk employee. When he finds out that it's Jules- the women he has to attend the conference with- he does not want to face the same issues like he did at his last job. His goal for the conference is to prove himself to his colleagues from his. previous job after abruptly leaving due to his relationship with a coworker. Although initially reluctant he does agree to fling with Jules.

I really liked Jules and Cameron. I liked that Jules had the unwavering support of her 2 best friends and that you see her grow as a woman, learning to step outside her comfort zone, ask for what she wants and take chances, even when it felt scary. I liked Cameron too. He was a good man, just too stuck in his own head and caught up in the past. I wish his emotional quotient had been better. He came off as quite immature at times and it was difficult to reconcile that with him being a successful, independent marketing businessperson. In terms of story, there was enough emotion to believe the pair were falling for one another, though the strong sexual component somewhat overshadowed the quieter moments of connection. I found their inner monologues a bit repetitive, and the power struggle between logic and desire too frequent for both characters. The story began to feel like a collection of anxieties and avoidance between 2 sexually compatible people. On a personal note, the author leaned into describing how the characters were feeling physically way too often. It was distracting to me how many times they had feelings in their chest or bellies. I found myself wondering how the MCs could function as humans if every thing they felt manifested in a physical way.

Georgia Moore is a new to me author and I was keen to check out her book, Four Night Stand. Bringing together two protagonists who had each sworn off relationships after being burned by previous partners, this story focuses on the intense physical attraction between Jules and Cameron. These two work for Infinity Publishing, Jules as an IT specialist and Cameron as a marketing guru. I liked that the attraction between them started with lengthy work phone calls, purportedly so that Jules could help Cameron with IT issues, though they soon discovered shared interests. I liked that these conversations led to each of them imagining taking things to the next step and I loved the zing they felt when they finally met in person and discovered they would be attending a conference together. I think that the way the story is set up it will appeal to a younger audience than me. I’m not one for discussing my planned or actual sex life with third parties, which Jules seems to do regularly. I also felt that both Jules and Cameron could have been fleshed out more to build greater reader empathy For me they seemed a little two-dimensional and their story rather slow I really tried to get into the book but gave up half way through. Sadly, this one just wasn’t for me,

💛 Four Night Stand - Georgia Moore 💛
eARC Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️

This was a really cute story 🥰

Although the story was only set over a week (four nights 😉), the story didn’t feel rushed or unrealistic. And even though their relationship was very sex-focused, I did fell like there was enough chemistry between the characters to want to see more from them.

I do feel like there was infuriatingly, a little too much ‘lack of communication’ towards the end, but Cameron definitely redeemed himself.

I enjoyed the character development of both main characters, with Jules stepping out of her comfort zone and Cameron getting out of his head and acknowledging his insecurities 🥰🫶🏻

I also really liked Cameron’s meddling sisters and the role that they played in Jules and Cameron’s relationship 🥰

I am obsessed with all of the Sydney Opera House scenes!! 🔥🥵

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I will definitely read more from this author in the future!!

Thankyou to NetGalley, Escape Publishing and of course Georgia Moore for this advanced review copy.

This was such a great, steamy, emotional romance!

I really love Georgia’s writing style. It’s so easy to read, it flows so well, and the emotion oozes through every sentence. There’s so much feeling between these pages.

I loved these characters so much, especially Jules. She’s so fiery and goofy and confident even though she doubts herself. Her confidence in this book is probably the sexiest thing about her, in all honesty. Going for what she wants at every turn, finding those parts of herself again.

I did really like Cameron but I hated the way it was kind of framed that he wasn’t really at fault because of unresolved trauma. Jules literally says “he did nothing wrong” and I couldn’t look past that. His past contextualised his behaviour but there’s no way I would have forgiven him so easily, not after the way he behaved. I loved how sweet he could be, how much he felt things, how willing he was to be goofy right alongside Jules and I did really love his apology, but I would have liked to have seen some on-page work towards doing better.

Thank you to NetGalley, Escape Publishing and Georgia Moore for the early review copy

Although Jules no longer loves her job, she refuses to take risks after her last attempt left her heartbroken. Cameron has also suffered through a nasty breakup, one bad enough to send him from Sydney to Canberra.
These two colleagues who've only ever communicated over the phone are sent to a conference in Sydney at the last minute. Away from their workplace and coworkers, they start a conference fling, a four night stand.

I enjoyed this one so much! I love how much they liked each other before they'd even met. Set over the course of a week long conference, we see Jules throw together a last minute presentation and Cameron facing his old coworkers. Their communication needed work but the boy was clearly very stressed about the whole situation. I did love his meddling sisters and Jules friends back home. I can't wait to see more from Georgia in the future.

I consider Georgia Moore a friend from the Bookstagram community, so it goes without saying how excited I was to finally read her debut book!

‘Four Night Stand’ follows colleagues Jules and Cameron and all that transpires when their workplace sends them from Canberra to Sydney for a conference.

As the title suggests, a no-strings attached kind of arrangement takes place, and the two end up having quite the time together, which is nice because they have a little history of their own in the form of deep and meaningful phone conversations in the office too.

Careful not to spoil anything, I’ll leave the synopsis there - but I will say, if you like a workplace romance and a dual POV… you’ll love this!

I certainly did. It’s sweet but spicy, and the chemistry between the characters is so strong, you find yourself desperate for more of their story - past, present (and future).

Side note, the side characters were stand-outs too!

This was a really fun read! I love supporting Aussie authors, so when I saw Georgia's new book on Netgalley I immediately requested it.

I love when books provide the perfect escape from reality, which is what this was. Jules and Cameron are work colleagues, but in different departments. When Jules' boss is away on maternity leave, she is volunteered to go to a conference in her boss's place. Her conference companion? Cameron, the man with the beautiful voice that she often helps with IT support.

I enjoyed Jules coming out of her shell and really enjoying herself! The dynamic between Jules and Cameron was also really fun and a bit spicy! The side characters, especially Cameron's sisters, were outrageous and fun.

Thank you to HaperCollins/Escape Publishing for an e-arc of this one, all opinions are my own.

I always like to support Aussie writers when I can, especially when it’s their debut novel and this is one story I’ll be thinking about for a while.

Jules and Cameron were so cute together as they were getting to know each other, and who doesn’t love a workplace fling?! The banter was amusing, and the backdrops of Canberra and Sydney were fun to explore.

Both characters were still dealing with past relationship hurt which often brought misunderstandings to their relationship/situation. Cameron, especially, I wanted to slap a few times to knock some sense into him.

The open-door spice was hot, and all the side characters were a delight and helped move the plot forward.

Congratulations Georgia Moore on your debut novel!
Thank you @netgalley and @escapepublishing/harlequinaus for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Four Night Stand by Georgia Moore
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you so much to @georgiamoorewriter #escape publishing and @netgalley for sending me an e-book copy to review

In short, I really enjoyed it. From the very first chapter, I was laughing and fully invested in the story. I especially loved that it is set in Australia and featured places I have been to and experienced myself.

Jules and Cam were both well fleshed-out characters, as were many of the side characters. Cam's sisters were definitely some of my favourites.
