From USA Today best-selling Authors ML Preston and Sade Rena comes this steamy interracial, second-chance Christmas Romance.
LaTreese
Life as a successful fashion designer means tight deadlines, last-minute fixes, and curve balls galore. But the one time a year when I set the chaos aside and relax is when I’m with my girls during our annual Christmas getaway. So imagine my disappointment when I had to cancel at the last minute.
When duty calls, right?
Only plans are ever-changing, and dates get pushed back. So it looks like I’ll get that mini vacation after all. A cozy weekend with my honorary sisters spent by the fire with cocktails and holiday cheer.
Sounds peaceful. Wrong.
Color me surprised when I arrived to learn that my room had been given to none other than Dylan Griggs. The very man who ghosted me last year after our short and spicy fling. And what’s worse than seeing the man who broke your heart?
Try spending several days at a remote resort with him.
Dylan
An invitation to my sister-in-law’s annual Christmas gathering didn’t surprise me, and after the year I’ve had, I was happy to accept. A nice getaway to forget about how my life was turned upside down.
What did surprise me, though, was her–LaTreese Duncan. She’s exactly how I remember her. Fierce, sexy, and downright delectable, but she wants nothing to do with me.
It’s been a year since I’ve seen her, and now, stuck together in the only available room for miles with only one bed, she’ll be forced to hear me out…among other things.
SNOWFLAKES AND MIMOSAS is a stand-alone, BWWM Christmas Romance complete with HEA. This book contains mature content and is suited for readers 18+.

I got this as an ARC and absolutely loved it! The romance and tension between Dylan and Latreese will keep you on the edge of your seat and the spice is top notch! In a world of Hallmark movies where the heroine gives you everything for some small town guy we need more Latresse who get their man and their career.

This was a spicy, banter filled second chance romance novella! LaTreese was strong, sassy, and big hearted. Dylan was attentive, charming, and had great dirty talk. I liked that he owned up to his mistakes with LaTreese. I loved the tension and the angst between these two. Their banter was perfect and made me laugh at times. I enjoyed watching Dylan’s attentiveness and care thaw LaTreese’s cold shoulder. The spicy scenes were perfectly timed and relieved the tension between them satisfyingly. The plot was quick paced. However, I felt the miscommunication and secret between them was dragged out a little long. I guessed at what it was and kept wanting it to be revealed. However, I did love the way it all came to a head and was resolved in the end. The ending did feel a little sudden, but the epilogue helped to wrap up the abruptness of it well. Thanks to the author for a free copy of this book in exchange for a review!
This story was cute and fun. What a way to spend Christmas with someone you hold a grudge against. Latreese didn't intend to give Dylan a break at all. But of course her feelings couldn't be held at bay. I was a bit surprised at Dylan's secret but glad he finally revealed to Latreese. Good story.
I have enjoyed reading each of these Christmas books, centered around a group of friends. Latreese and Dylan’s story had a different twist than the rest. I kind of guessed it early on in the book, but it did not take away from the read itself. I hope to see a book about Tora or Donna next.
Snowflakes and Mimosas by M.L. Preston and Sade Rena
A holiday book? Who am I? Yes, the one and only holiday book I chose to read this year was an absolute success!
This second chance romance is about two people who have a hot fling that didn't end well. One year later, they both end up in the same place for a weekend getaway. Cue in the drama, sexual tension, one bed trope, and the spice!!!!
Yes yes yessss. Everything about this book was a massive yes! I was lucky enough to get this as an ARC and im greatful i did. Its a perfect read for this time of year. The chemistry between Dylan and Latreese is sooo good. The SPICE. Ugh. Right from the beginning (literally) its just 🥵.
This was my first book from M.L. Preston and Safe Rena and I will be more from them. This was a second chance romance. I just loved the girls trip idea. Makes me want to go on one. Dylan and Latreese were so cute together. I loved this couple.
This was a cute and perfect holiday book. After a year of seeing one another the attraction and chemistry are still there for Dylan and LaTreese.
As much as LaTreese tries to make sense of and understand what happened a year ago with Dylan, those feelings are still there for each other. Dylan realizes that he needs to prove to LaTreese why he should be given another chance and explain what happened.
This book gave hallmark movie vibes and made me ready for this Christmas season.
Snowflakes and Mimosas is a spicy holiday read between LaTreese and Dylan. There was some palpable tension for them throughout the book because of some miscommunications from the year before. I know this book is a shorter novel but the ending was a bit abrupt. Overall, I enjoyed this book.
I’ve read all 3 installments of the cocktails and Christmas series I can’t wait to read about Donna and Tora so please keep them coming. This 3rd installment was about Dylan and Treese. These two never seemed to be able to get things right. I loved reading about them just as I have the previous other two couples. The chemistry was undeniable and I loved these two together. Dylan has a huge secret that took him away from Treese the previous Christmas and the reason why they are not getting along. They rekindle things for a short while before life pulls them apart again. Finally Dylan shares his secret will Treese decide to be with him or not? Loved this can’t wait for the next one!!
I like series based around a family, here mostly by friendship that are there for each other when life happens. This was my first book of the series but gave enough background where you can still enjoy. Dylan and Latreese were both driven career types where relationships were just for good times but who were drawn towards each other for something more. The secret was a bit obvious. I liked the reveal of the relationship though and wanted more of that especially at the beginning. But there is enough where I wonder how some of the other couples will work out so ill probably come back for more
This book starts just as the first two did. The same annoying over sensitive, always angry, repetitive BS. I don’t know if I hated this one or the second one more. For starters, Latresse had no right to be angry! Didn’t this book start with her saying, “You know this doesn’t mean anything, right?” So where does all this anger come from? Not only was she unjustifiably angry, she was hella childish on top of that! He’s trying to talk to her and she’s unwilling to listen, it’s annoying. The MMC also annoyed me with his desperation. She’s being a right b***h to you and you think you deserve it? I can’t. DNF. WNF.
Very Christmassy read with all the spice you want in a novella.
LaTreese and Dylan have a very back-and-forth, tension-filled relationship which stems from their initial interaction a year ago. Both characters still have feelings for each other and it's evident from the start. The backdrop for their rekindling romance is perfect plus they have to share a bed which is a beautiful combination. The ending had an unexpected twist but it was a nice twist added.
The steam, the friendships, the great vacays…what is not to love? Latreese and Ryan just can’t help themselves, so there’s no reason to fight the attraction in the end. What started as a short fling turned into a long burn, which will delight any romance reader. As with any series, we get the added bonus of what’s going on with other characters from the previous books. Extremely satisfying!
I am always going to eat up a book written by my favorite authors- but this one?! It might be my favorite in the series. There’s longing, second chance, pining, steam, found family and just Christmas wholesomeness that just gets me all warm and gooey inside. Thanks for giving me and ARC of this and in my DJ Khaled voice ya’ll got “another one”. Loved it!
I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but what? You write this strong take no prisoners woman only to have her acquiesce the way she did….we deserve books that don’t show struggle love or complete 180° just because we are desperate for love!
Latreese was literally just about to become a breakout star she could have had whoever..very disappointing ending
A chance crossing of paths gives Dylan a second chance to wow LaTresse. The past does hold fond memories for Latresse where Dylan is concerned but the old sparks are still there. Are they right for each other or just a convenience?
It’s a quick read at least than 300 pages. The story moves along effortlessly with wit, humor, character building and hot sexy scenes. I mean, it’s hard not to enjoy this story and the characters. Warm endearing ending. Loved it!
I loved the twist on the child. Its usually the woman that has a kid. It was a nice change. I haven't read the other books in this series but I think I will
This was a super fun little Christmas read. It had total vibes of the movie Why Did I get Married except no cheating husband. LOL But loved the friendships and the relationships in the book. The book also had some major spicy parts.
