It is true, this is a fast paced two hour read. If you are like me, and you've got a copy via Netgalley, you probably tapped your screen again, back to the bookshelf to confirm if what you got was incomplete...and turns out it isn't. Now, isn't it any wonder that Ii rambled on about the length of the book in those ten seconds? Any Insights Yet? is what I needed working in the non-profit space and a certified email writer of the phrase "if you have any insights or observations please include them." The book explores what insights are not, what they actually are and techniques for building insights-or aptly put, connecting the dots. I was particularly challenged by the need to keep asking why because more often than not, I've taken observations as insights and this could easily have improved my perspective if I kept asking why.
It's a book I'd recommend to everyone, for better communication and understanding in building relationships-because it feels like we have sank into the world of reels and tiktok challenges and are losing the face to face- communication.
