I like that the author switched up the positions for this book-- I assume it will be the same for the next book as well. I enjoyed reading about the ice luge and got to discuss that particular sport with my kiddo-- thank you for giving us plenty to talk and learn about outside of the book!

My reader is an 8 y/o boy who likes dragons. He isn't interested in the Dragon Girls series so I'm especially happy that he got into this one. I also appreciate that there are more complicated words like "vicious", "ornate", and "singed", so my reader and I can work on figuring out meaning from context.

(Also, if I'm reading aloud, it counts towards my Goodreads total for the year 😅✌🏻)

A bit better than the last one. I liked how the characters swapped roles and the monster that was chasing them.

Still don't really get the game mechanic side but it's a bit of fun

Another fast read. Adventurous from beginning to end. It holds my 5 year old attention.
