I really enjoy a good suspense story with adventure and of course, romance! Army Ranger Next Door is a standalone forbidden opposites attract romance and will capture your attention and your heart!
Dominic is on leave and is struggling with some PTSD from his last Ranger deployment but that doesn't stop him from watching out for his best friend's sister who moved in next door. What a surprise that was, too! As Tyler arrived to help his younger sister Emily move in to her very own first home after college he noticed a familiar truck next door. As Emily looked on in confusion when Tyler just darted over to knock on her new neighbor's front door without a word, she quickly learned that it was no other than Tyler's best friend since childhood, Dominic...and Emily wasn't exactly thrilled. She always had a crush on him but he seemed to never notice her beyond being Tyler's little sister (she's 5 years younger) and this was not what she was expecting.
But it sure was a good thing that he was around and was perfectly capable of protecting her against some very dangerous people. This is where the adventure really begins in more ways than one!
I highly recommend this page turner that will have you blushing and cheering and biting your nails.

The super-protective Army Ranger next door will not let anyone harm her. He takes the criminal down as he is choking Emily, but before they can find out who exactly is after her family, the police arrive and take the man away, although he yells out threats that this is not over until she is dead. Being on the run together gives them time to realize what they each need and find in the other. The story line is exciting and action-packed. Will these two end up falling in love? Will her need for him in her life and her continuous positive support and encouragement help him to heal from all he has gone through over his 10 years in Special Forces? Being there for each other brings both of them even closer. Will they find their HEA?

Dominic is an Army Ranger who is on leaving because he is dealing with PTSD from a recent deploymnet. When his best friend calls and lets him know that his little sister will be moving in next door, Dominic agrees to look out for her. When Tyler arrives to help move Emily into her new home, he goes next door and just walks up and knocks on the door. When Dominic comes out to greet Tyler, she's a little taken aback. She surprised that Tyler didn't tell her and she's a little annoyed that he's right next door because she had a crush on Dominic when she was younger and she thought that it was over but seeing him again, she realizes it never went away. Soon, though, Emily is grateful that Dominic is around because she needs protection from some bad people. There is suspense and spice and I don't want to give too much away but this story has something for everyone!

It is a stand alone so you don't need to have read any of this authors other books, though I do recommend those too.
Emily and Dom gel well together and the spicy scenes were so cute. I love having a cute epilogue at the end to tell us what happened after.

Cool story.
When Emily realises that her new next door neighbor is her brother's best friend and an army Ranger, Dominic she is glad because she has a crush on him but also when her life is threatened, he steps up to protect her.
Loads of suspense and drama in this story. Mostly though I loved the relationship and their chemistry especially when Dominic starts to realise what he has in Emily.
Such a gripping and enjoyable story that kept me involved from start to finish. I will be looking out for more.

This book is absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end and sitting on the edge of your seat. It's with action packed and suspense and chemistry and romance with brothers best friend taboo. Emily and Tyler are brother and sister and Dominic is Tyler best friend and army ranger who just got home from bad tour only to find out he now living next to his brother's sister when someone is out to get her and her brother can he protect her?Great story.

sister gets her brother’s best friend without trying
Enjoyed the story and well written in several different scenarios. May have developed their new found relationship too fast and bed scenes too early. Made Don out as a PTSD but not as protective of his feelings about his war experiences as you would think. Felt it would be more difficult to get close to his younger childhood friend. Was expecting the “other shoe to drop” but never did. Something missing with the catching of the enemy was too easy.

She has had a crush on Dominic since forever, but the Bro code is enforce and she is surprised that he is now her next door neighbor. The chemistry between these two is electric, the characters are well written as is the story. Among the pages you will find mystery and intrigue. But when her life is threatened, Dominic is there to protect. Will they get their HEA? Well, you will have to read to find out.

The story is intreging and page turning. I couldn't put it down. The characters well written. The story spellbinding. The mystery and the chemistry is amazing. You start to read and find the steamy but quickly find the mysetery too. I loved that the characters knew each other before this. That made their connection all the more real.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. Dominic and Tyler had been best friends since childhood. Dom enlisted in the Army but they didn't loss contact. Then Tyler's little sister Emily buys the house next door to Dom and their lives come into danger. Plenty of action to keep you turning the pages.

This was my first Ava Ruston book. I couldn’t put the book down. The guy wants the girl but doesn’t want to break bro code. Then life throws some major curve balls for these two. This story kept me guessing which I really enjoyed. I didn’t predict the plot would turn out the way it did but I’m super glad it wasn’t predictable. Such a great read and I recommend it to anyone who wants a HEA without the predictably factor.

Dominic and Emily are such a dynamic duo. They managed to keep their secret love affair from Emily’s brother which is also Dominic’s best friend. Rekindling long lost teenage love interest after the military and college.

It was hard to get into the storyline. It was far fetched and had inaccuracies . Some parts just drag on, like they were just trying to reach the minimum word count.

Totally a great storyline filled v with ups and downs but it showed the reader that even when times are tough you can still move forward.
