Wow…that was a plot twist I wasn’t expecting.
I think it took me a little longer to get through this one because there’s so much going on (not in a bad way). There are definitely some changes in character dynamics and we see things shift between Penelope and the Prince. Honestly, I’m kind of pissed at one of the brothers and I’m glad that Penelope realized quickly what was going on and was able to check his ass. Overall, another great installment. I’m definitely excited to see where the next volume is going to take us!

I have a confession…
I LOVE THIS SERIES AN UNHEALTHY AMOUNT!!! *flails*
Seriously, every single volume is better than the last and the previous volumes are already AMAZING!!!
No matter what situation Penelope is in, she slays every time. However, this volume was even more satisfying because seeing all the love interests open-mouthed in shock that she just saved everyone, YOU GO GIRL!! Such a deeply satisfying and gratifying moment! *happy sigh*
I really loved the hunting arc and can say I'm officially on the Callisto hype train! LOL! He's scared me in all the previous volumes, but he definitely won me over! He and Penelope have such a great banter that I can't help but laugh when they're together on page, but talk about spicy when compared to other volumes! :o Nothing graphic or inappropriate per se, but let's just say you can see a lot of muscles this time around.
One thing I always appreciate with this series is that I never know the direction it's going to go. That is shown and reflected so powerfully through Penelope, with that last chapter being in spades. AND THE WAY SHE STOOD HER GROUND WITH THOSE LAST PAGES!! Makes me break out in goosebumps all over again because I LOVE when Penelope speaks up for herself and doesn't give any worry if the numbers will drop. I straight up cheered when she said what she did because while Reynold has been in the "doghouse" for previous actions, he is out and a new guy is in. (I was surprised that I did like Reynold this time by the way! I don't ship him with Penelope but I can see his own grumpy charm now that he and Penelope have made up and cleared the air.) I had to refrain from saying this love interest is complete garbage because I don't think he ACTUALLY is, but dang it, his actions don't show any kind of affection for our main girl!
Backing up though, lots of beautiful art and really good (but super scary) situations that had me super engaged! From holding my breath, to leaning forward, to squeaking/squealing at epic moments, scary moments, and romantic ones, my body just can't handle how good and wonderful this series is. The action was EVERYTHING and was excited to see we had so much of it in this volume!
Like always, I don't know what's going to happen next because there is such a dangerous cliffhanger with this volume and I need at least two different characters to be okay! Can't wait to get my hands on the next volume because I AM making grabby hands and reading as soon as it arrives!!

I want more!!! the manhwa to this is so good!! I missed counted the chapters i had left to read and i finished season 4 and five in one sitting. it's got such an amazing story line and isn't like the other reincarnation novels/manhwas I've read

Je ne me lasse pas de ce webtoon papier, et cette suite était encore plus palpitante que les précédents tomes. Un vrai régal autant pour l’intrigue que pour le scénario.
Notre héroïne qui doit tout faire pour gagner des points de sympathie (avec les pourcentages d’affinités) dans l’espoir de survivre, va se retrouver confrontée avec la bonne société et ses intrigues, parfois bien cruelles. Le personnage qu’elle incarne ayant un passif houleux, il lui est parfois bien difficile de gérer certaines situations tandis que d’autres se retournent carrément contre elle.
Ce qui m’a plu dans ce quatrième tome, c’est la tension omniprésente tout le long de l’histoire, les rebondissements et bien sûr les rapprochements qu’elle fait avec certains protagonistes masculins, comme le prince Regulus. Pour ne citer que lui. J’ai même la sensation qu’un début de romance pointe son nez… ou pas. Je suis très curieuse de voir ou tout ça va mener. En tout cas, sachez, mesdames et messieurs, que le prince a de sacrés abdos !
Dans l’ensemble, j’ai dévoré cette suite et j’ai passé un excellent moment avec ! Tout en essayant de tirer son épingle du jeu, Pénélope se fait de nouveaux ennemis et se retrouve à la fin dans une situation des plus inextricables. Pour ne pas déroger à la règle, ce volume se termine une nouvelle fois sur un cliffhanger des plus haletants qui me laisse très frustrée. Et puis, il a son frère aîné adoptif que j’ai du mal à comprendre et qui déteste Pénélope.
Bref, vous l’avez compris, j’ai aimé cette suite. L’intrigue est maitrisée et palpitante à suivre avec des personnages forts et charismatique à souhait. Notre héroïne est badass comme pas permis, et pour ne pas changer depuis le début de cette histoire, elle va devoir faire preuve de prudence si elle ne veut pas perdre le jeu !

Finally got to read more about Callisto. The ending was a good cliffhanger so I definitely look forward to reading the next 2 installments of this series.

Wreszcie Callisto na pierwszym miejscu, ile ja się razy zarumieniłam, sfrustrowałam i krzyczałam to nie można zliczyć. Penelope pokazuje coraz więcej twarzy co mi się bardzo podoba, czuję jednak, że to sprowadza na nią więcej niebezpieczeństwa. Pauza dla mojej wewnętrznej fangirl: Co to ma być za miejsce aby zakończyć tom ??? Doprowadza to do zawału.

Out of all the 5 love interests I think I’m rooting for Callisto. Reynold and Derek are her step brothers so that would be a little weird for me. Eclise needs therapy and Vinter/Winter is my second choice.

callisto doesn't love her (it's more like a business to him), eckles is too obsessive (AND BROUGHT THAT BITCH BACK), and her father and brothers are just temporary. i think while penelope knows that her life will get disrupted once ivonne is back, she still couldn't accept it. the whole situation is making her anxious and the fact that she was hurt by them multiple times in the past, makes her even lonelier.

Continues on from the hunting tournament and Penelope's cross bow and ends with the hint that Ivonne is going to be another bad guy playing the innocent heroine. The preview looks fun. Here comes the water. Eckles makes me cringe, he feels like he's going into yandere territory. Winter seems a bit wishy washy distant and feels more like a mentor character. Don't like Derrick at all. The other one is brother territory, leaving Callisto as the dark horse. Their scenes together are fun. I liked that he showed up.

Recuerdo la primera vez que leí estos capítulos. Fue la primera vez que empecé a mirar a Callisto con otros ojos, porque hasta entonces me daba miedo, como a la protagonista. Y si odiar a Derrick fuese un deporte olímpico, yo estaría en el podio. Me dan igual sus excusas, es un mierdas.
Deseando que publiquen el siguiente tomo para leer como Penélope los manda a la mierda en el juicio.
