Mark C. Overton is a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the US Air Force. He first wrote the "Career Progression Guide for Airmen" series.

By faith, Mark turned to the Christian Life Devotional category, penning The Good Book Series: "Chapter and Verse: Daily Devotions for Your Work Week"; "Lord Teach Me How to Pray"; " I Like to Start with Something Funny"; and "You Only Live Once."

From leading laymen ministries – usher, television, media, information technology and a men’s group – to continually reading the Bible helped him to build and spread his faith.

Mark actively practices his faith by attending the First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He’s currently enrolled in the Master of Biblical and Theological degree program with the Dallas Theological Seminary and also partnered with Joel Osteen Ministries as a Champion of Hope.
