“Adolf Hitler, and Nazi Germany” is a biography that stands out of many, fbut so much about a man who ruled a huge bulk of europe was known to write an entire biography. rom a child who almost passed away at an early age to a man responsible for the end of millions of innocent lives, “Adolf Hitler, and Nazi Germany” by Earle Rice Jr is one biography that is horrifying to read, going from his birth to his suicide in Berlin.
Adolf Hitler, otherwise known as Hitler, was the fourth child in the Hitler family, born on April 20, 1889. Germany plagues were tough at the time, so Adolf became the only child to father Alois and mother Klara Hitler that lived beyond the age of two, making Adolf the special child. Adolf was of white skin tone, blue-gray colored eyes with brownish-blondish hair. Hitler had very interesting beliefs and was so interested in warfare that he volunteered as a reserve for World War 1. Hitler was a very good soldier and was shortly after promoted to corporal on November 3, 1914.
Hitler was an odd person as he was deployed. He showed zero interest in drinking, smoking, and even woman, unlike other soldiers who did show much interest in all three. “Something about Adolf was always, weird?” said Rice Jr. In 19 more years, Hitler’s power rose and rose and rose especially in 1932 when his party won the election.
1933 is historically the year in which the Holocaust began, otherwise known as the “Shoah”. After World War 1, many Germans were convinced their loss of the war was due to the Jewish people, one of those Germans being Adolf Hitler. Another huge reason Jewish people were disliked was that they were the scapegoat for the economic crisis Germany suffered. Adolf Hitler eventually spoke out on the topic. Hitler used words such as “banish” and “hate” towards jewish people, believing it was the only way to bring Germany back to normal health. Many soldiers, people, and politicians agreed with Hitler, at least until the day Hitler set up concentration camps. He sent Jews into these camps as if they’d just be removed from German civilization, however Hitler's malicious plan was to murder or “banish” all Jewish humans forced into the camps.
Hitler successfully carried out his plan to do so, being responsible for the killings of around 6 million Jewish people. Eventually, 6 years later, Hitler got extremely carried away with the power he developed that he decided Germany needed more land. Hitler’s first idea was to invade Poland, which they did. This is arguably the reason of the commencement of World War 2, which ended Nazi Germany and Hitler himself, all in under 6 years, which is longer than World War 1. Adolf Hitler, on April 13, 1945, the same year the war ended, took the easy way out of his life and all potential consequences by killing himself.
“Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany” by Earle Rice Jr is definitely a biography worth reading! As it contains very useful information and fun facts about Hitler’s historical life. Such as the reasons for killing the Jewish and facts like Hitler being the only child in his family to live past the age of two. I highly recommend this biography to crowds who are interested in history and the reasons behind historical events.

Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany is a historical/biographic book that covers the history of Germany and Adolf Hitler throughout the span of his life, from birth to suicide. Although this may seem like a strange read and could possibly get you some judging glances, it covers a wide variety of topics and gives you a better perspective on Hitlers perspective and why he made some of the decisions he did.

Something both frightening and impressive about this book is how it's easy to visualize when & how Hitler went from normal German citizen to radicalized anti-semitic leader. As Hitler's life goes on, the story follows Germany's path throughout WW1, Hitlers political involvement, enemies, friends, WW2, then finally his death. Although the book is short, it gives a surprising amount of detail into his life.

If you choose to read this book, you will learn a lot about Hitler's relationships. His political allies and enemies play a large role in the book, mostly because many of the same people he stayed with in the beginning are a big part of his "success" afterwards. Perhaps even more interesting are the lesser-known private relationships. Hitler had a rather close relationship with his niece, and he liked her so much he locked her in his property so that she would never leave him. She ended up killing herself, and it was covered up until now.

I would recommend this book to anyone beginning to study WW2, Nazis, etc. It is a good way to gain background knowledge and understand the motivations of important people in the second world war. Overall I gave this book a 4/5 stars because it was both informative and entertaining, but not the best book I've ever read.

"Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany" by Earle Rice Jr. is an excellent biography about Adolf Hitler from his childhood to his suicide in Berlin on April thirtieth, 1945. The author does an excellent job of giving the reader information about Adolf's life from his difficulties as a child with his academics and his dealings with his alcoholic father. One thing I do not like about the book is the sudden jump from childhood to adulthood, skipping over Adolf's teen years. The book also tells the reader small neat facts about Adolf such as his full first name was Adolfus, I had never known that. All in all, Earle Rice Jr. does an excellent job telling the life story of Adolf Hitler.

Another short book to provide a better backdrop of Hitler and Nazi Germany before an upcoming trip to Germany.
