In this cookbook, Lorraine (Roo) Carlstrom shares her journey back to health by changing to a traditional diet. A couple key changes were the inclusion of bone broth soups and sourdough sides. You will be guided through the recipes with detailed instructions, interesting stories, eating tips and gorgeous photos. The recipes were inspired from friends, family and a life spent playing in nature in both Canada and the United States. Lorraine has paired a diverse collection of soups, chowders and stews with complementary sourdough sides. Most of the recipes encourage using local farm-to-table ingredients.
