Can an alien warrior and an orphaned infant provide a new beginning for a lonely woman?
Tired of relentless hours, arrogant clients, and endless demands, Barbara is ready to abandon her career as a corporate attorney for a simpler life. She doesn’t expect that life to involve an alien abduction, an abandoned baby, and an all-too-intriguing alien warrior with a very friendly tail.
Pralec, a Cire warrior from a dying planet, takes a mercenary position with an ambitious merchant house. Disgusted by their greed and cruelty, he does the unthinkable and forsakes his vow. Seeking refuge on a backwater planet, his solitude is disrupted by a fiery human woman and a ragtag group of castaways who desperately need his help.
As Pralec aids Barbara and her companions in their quest to return home, he finds himself increasingly enthralled by the fascinating female and her adopted child. He doesn’t want to let them go, but assisting them raises the specters of his past.
Can Barbara aid Pralec in confronting the consequences of his previous life? And is embracing a new life with a baby and an alien warrior really the change she wants?
Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.
I enjoyed it. I’m a little bummed out that I read this one before number nine but it’s okay they all are standalone. I like how they got stuck on a not very populated planet and they tried to survive anyways. I liked that all the women found love at the end. I also like I should also practice law again at the end. I do feel like Barbara tried to force her mate to a deeper connection even though shestill wanted to go back to earth.
We're back with human women (who keep getting stolen from Earth for VERY nefarious purposes) and Cire warriors. Frankly, the Cire males are just THE BEST when it comes to falling hard and fast and being there for their special someone.
This time around, we have Barbara and Pralec. And Mia, the toddler Barbara took under her wing and loved like her own. But first, Pralec. The big guy has been living rough in hiding because he believes himself dishonorable after breaking a vow to the house he used to work for. For a Cire, dishonor is the worst of the worst and he has a hard time believing Barbara would want someone like him when she could have, well, anyone else.
As it turns out, Barbara doesn't believe for one moment that Pralec is the criminal he thinks he is. And when the past rears up and Pralec ends up facing charges for the things that made him go into hiding, Barbara is dead set on proving his innocence.
A group of desperate abductees who are ready to fight for their freedom, lots of little ones, a few unexpected romances, an affectionate tail, a warrior who refuses to let his lady love leave without him by her side, and a lady who jumps in with both feet to right a wrong. I ADORE these Cire warriors and their human loves!
It's time for another series, but this time by Honey Phillips. Treasured by the Alien are a series of books that follow the same formula. An older woman is taken from Earth and is accompanied by a child, not always their own, and are subsequently saved by a lizard like alien called a Cire and then they fall in love and form a found family unit.
This book is about Barbara and Pralec. Barbara is a powerful lawyer and defends Pralec in court. She was mentioned in book 9, which confused me at the time.
It's Honey Phillips, so there's graphic sex with a non-human. And it's the Treasured series, so there are fated mates. But there is also a great story filled with loveable characters that you cheer for. (There's also some graphic violence, but they deserved it.)
Disfruto de los libros de la serie Treasured by the Alien, siempre es una lectura para sentirse bien,

Sanctuary for the alien Warrior de Honey Phillips serie Treasured by the Alien libro 10
Argumento:
If I can’t articulate what I’m looking for in a story, I shouldn’t be upset when the author didn’t do it.
As for this specific story, I was expecting the next person to get a mate to be someone we already met. Which is just wrong. Once I got over that I liked the story. I was a little surprised that we were on another planet again and I don’t know why. I personally would rather be on a planet than wizzing through the vacuum of space.
I kinda like how someone gave a reason as to why the women were acting the way they did once the Cire met their mates. It makes sense, but so much so, that for how long it took to be unofficial explained makes it not worth the wait. But we have something now. But then at the end of the story I found that to be a little “huh?” Not telling you what that is.
Once again we have more than one couple in this story. I was quite pleased with how they each had a different path to getting their mate/happy ending. Once more I wished we jumped to the other couples to see their side of things.
The first planet setting is good. We actually got around a bit. I think we changed lo-cals like 5 times. I think two of those places could have been described more. That also seems to carry over to most of the aliens. Outside of the Cire that is. I was actually thinking of marking up a character sheet for the looks of the other aliens. We have the race that goes around kidnapping the humans because from a distance at night they can pass for a skinny man and that always the set up to make it scarier when they realized that they wasn’t human. So they have been described a lot. I don’t think the author gave the Cire mates different physical attributes. I think we just get older vs younger.
I can get that when the girls see the Cire for the first time, their general look comes across strongly. But later we should be seeing some mention of a different kind of green for their skin color. How the strips are displayed differently. Scars. Tattoos. Tribal marks. Distinctive way of dress. In this story that did happen, for a while. I didn’t even remember that the main lady was kidnapped and was in her business suit for the first half of the book. I don’t even think it was mentioned before her abduction. But we were informed when she got a dress that she was now wearing a dress.
I knew that she was going to end up doing this thing for him once they left the planet, but it was unknown that they were going to end up where they did and then there was that surprise with the mixed kid. I guess that was a round about way of saying that once a few things were stated, the main couple’s story was mostly predictable until the last 1/4 of the book.
I’m kinda upset that it looks like this series is over. I hope I’m wrong. I think that all these stories have had a “you don’t need to read anything else if you don’t want to” feeling at the end, so none of them made you think to look for more. Personally I think that is done when the author doesn’t think they could complete a “full” series of books.
Which is not in and of itself a bad thing.
So, yes or no to reading this book. I say yes. It’s worth the read.
Barbara Emerson quit her job and walked out of the law firm she had worked at for 10 years, feeling a deep sigh of relief. She had been unhappy for so long but was too busy to even notice it. They made it clear that, as a woman, she had reached as high as they would let her go in her career. So she needs to walk away. On the walk home, she took a shortcut through the park. A woman was being attacked and she tried to stop it, only to have another male grab her and drug her. When she woke, the man she had seen was obviously an alien and she has been kidnapped. The young woman they also captured was terrified and out of control, so they demanded Barbara calm her or they would harm her. Natalie awoke at Barbara’s soft reassurances and cried in her arms, repeating “I am not alone” over and over as she began to calm.
She learned the aliens were Vedeckians, Krenar and one who seemed to be the medic. Some time later, the women were taken from the ship to a shuttle and transferred to a deteriorating space station. They were locked in a room with Carina, exhausted and caring for twin babies and Mia who was a year old. Mia’s mother had been sold to a huge alien, forced to leave her child behind. They sold another woman and kept Carina to care for the babies while they waited for more buyers. Mia immediately bonded to Barbara. Then one day, alarms sounded and the women and children were put on a shuttle. When the alien got angry at the crying babies, he was ready to harm them and Barbara hit him with a heavy bag. It accidentally killed him and she needed to figure how to fly the shuttle and find a safe place for them all.
On the small planet of Orman, Cire warrior Pralec Tor’Sarian was hunting. Finding signs of a vicious ternkel, he turned to leave when he heard a female in terror so he ran toward the sound to save her. Another smaller female was on the ground as Pralec fought with the beast. With his wound going numb, he dropped to the ground and used his knife on the beast’s belly as it collapsed on him. He crawled out and began to butcher the animal as Barbara thanked him. It seems Barbara has an effect on him. Could she be his mate? He has no experience in that situation, so this can get complicated. Will he provide for the women and three children? Will they ever figure out how to get home? And will Barbara and the child Mia stay with Pralec and become the family they need and love?
This was a surprisingly sweet sci-fi alien romance. It had plenty of steam, but many sweet moments with the aliens and the children. The aliens all adored children, and it was so sweet how they would do anything for them. The way the alien H looked was a bit different, but that didn't seem to bother the h.
I adored Pralec -- he was just a sweetheart. I also liked that his entire Cire race was known for being honorable and trustworthy. He rescued Barbara, Mia, and the other humans, simply because he was too honorable not to help them. Then he immediately fell in love with both Barbara and little Mia, and considered them his family. Even when Barbara was determined to find a way back to earth, he still never doubted that he loved both of them.
Barbara was likable, too, and ended up being perfect for Pralec. I loved how both of them fell deeply in love with little Mia, even though she was not their biological child.
Overall, I really liked this book. My favorite parts were the interaction between the aliens and the children. They all loved children, and it didn't matter to them at all whether they were human, alien, or mixed species.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
This series is just so entertaining, it’s fun, it’s serious, and it just draws you to want to believe that these things could actually happen. Sci-fi, love like every earth woman would want. The main character in the story is Barbara, she was kidnapped from earth, to be sold to desperate men, rather aliens. Thanks to something called the red death there is a shortage of females and children throughout the universe. And earth seems to be the target for collecting them. She was taken along with a young girl, named Natalie, and a little bit older woman named Carina. Carina was nursing a set a twin boys, another little girl was hanging off of Carina when Barbara met them. She took instantly to the little girl, named Mia, who lost her mother. through sheer determination and a little bit of luck, the three women and the three children managed to take control of the small ship and crash land on a different planet. This is where they meet Pralec,a cire alien, living by himself on the planet. This story follows their journey into the love of a good alien and a strong earth woman, but not only that all of the women seem to find their place in the strange universe. This story has everything some humor, some sadness, lots of love, and some steamy scenes. I cannot wait for the next book.
Another installment in the Treasured by the Alien series, one I have been reading since its first day on Kindle. Nice to see some characters from previous books. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that there was more grammatical errors than I could just easily ignore. Not to say it isn't worth reading because it is. I just wished the writer and editor did at least three read-throughs aloud because that's where one finds errors that the eyes will ignore.
Ratings (out of possible 5) Character building: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ World building: 🌎 🌎 🌎 🌎 Relationship building: 💓 💓 💓 💓 Romance: 💋 💋 💋💋 💋 Heat/steam: 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 Drama: 👀 👀 👀 Action: 🍿 🍿 Suspense: 💣 Dark: 💀 Triggers: Mention of sexual assault, mention of suicide following sexual assault and following being separated from one's child after being sold into slavery, human trafficking, lying bastards with titles of nobility. Another spectacular read !!! Love these stories !!!
From the very beginning, I have Loved these stories of the honorable Cire warriors, and the women who love them !!! And this book is no different !! Barbara is a lawyer on her way home from work . She decides to walk through the park for a short cut . We ALL know NOT to walk through the park alone !!!!! Silly girl !!! She encounters a situation with a college age girl , and next thing they knew , they are not on Earth anymore !!? Pralec Tor'Sarian has been living life in a rural planet ever since he was accused of a crime. He is just existing , but , as a Cire, he has lost hope of a family. Since the red plague bought death to most of the females of the Galaxy, , the Cire have been aimlessly floating around. Of course he misses his old life, but it is what it is . When Pralec is out hunting one day his entire life changes !!
I loved Pralec and Barbra , and along with several other colorful characters , this story is a fabulous read !! Always an excellent, exciting adventure , these stories !!! And I certainly look forward to many , many more !!!
Pralec is a Cerce warrior who feels he's dishonored himself for breaking b his word. But what was going on went against his morale and values as a trusted warrior so he left. He ends up on a backwater planet and never expects to leave that is until he hears the soft cries of a female in danger. Barbara a high power attorney, quite her job because she realized she was never going to be a partner in the from she was with. No matter how much money she brought in or how good she was she was stuck . while walking home she sees another in trouble and goes to help and unfortunately also becomes the victim of alien abduction. Her life is about to change drastically she can either grasp it with both hands and create a new better life or give up when the going gets tough. Being rescued by a gorgeous alien warrior was not what she saw in her future but that's what happens. Will she grasp happiness with both hands or go back to the hum drum of everyday earth life. You need to read and find out. So worth it made me smile I really want one of these warriors for myself🌟💖🌟💖🔥💖🔥🌟💖🌟💖🔥💖💖🔥🌟💖🔥💖💖💖🌟💖💖🔥💖!
Imagine crashing on a distant planet with no knowledge of what you are up against. There is a young mother with infant twins, a toddler that thinks you are her mother and a very weak girl barely out of her teens with you. Then you see a tall alien with a tail. Honorable, attractive and you are so attracted to him. After quitting her dead end job at the lawyer firm, Barbara chose to walk home and ruminate on where she was in her life. Taking a shortcut through the park, the area grew quiet, the mist rose and she saw a woman being assaulted. Running to her aid, Barbara didn't see the alien come behind her but she felt a sting in her neck. Pralec lived on the outskirts of a village, hunting and maintaining his isolation. As he walked back to his hunting camp, he heard a female cry of distress. A female? Here? Honey has given us another amazing tail/tale with plot twists, danger, suspense, slow burn romance, angst, found family and steam. A fast paced page turner that you will definitely enjoy.
"How had she been so unhappy for so long and never realized it?"
Barbara has realized her job is never going to take her where she wants to go, but deciding to change her life doesn't mean she's prepared to be abducted by aliens.
Pralec has ridden the roller coaster of life long enough to know a break is just what he needed. A nice cabin outside a small village where he can hunt and live on his own is just the right speed, until some humans crash in to his life.
This done in one kindle unlimited book has some real magic in its pages, perhaps because characters hit bottom then find that spark of hope, or simply a spark that fuels them when they have no answers and all questions. I came out of this story feeling as though I'd journeyed with four characters to the point of giving up (though one was a lawyer who always fought), and rode through the storm with them to the rainbows on the other side.
Add in some adorable, scene stealing kiddos, and this was a delightful page-turner.
I loved this book! Barbara gets abducted trying to help a young woman in the park who is getting attacked. That damn mist... During this story ALL of my momma instincts came out. I love all of Honey's Cire Warriors and Pralec is no exception! Pralec is so wonderful and about broke the internet when he holds a baby for the first time. This book is all about found family. You need to read this book because:
*** I'm in love with Cire warriors! 5 stars for Pralec and his friendly tail. ;) ***Barbara was a strong, empowered, and selfless female lead. ***All the cute little ones, especially Mia. ***All of our female characters get story lines! Barbara and her new friends Natalie & Carina ***Perfectly spicy! Hey, hugs by tails (and more) are underrated. :D ***Loved the ending and time with old friends from the series!
I am so happy to beta read for Honey and I might have helped a little with the title for this one. <3 Sanctuary for the Alien Warrior is quite the adventure and is perfect for a holiday read! 5 stars, 3 spicy emojis
I loved the story. The plot was well thought out. Action, steamy romance, secrets revealed and of course the perfect HEA for Pralec and Barbara. I also loved that the story included the HEAs for the other two women involved. Barbara is a likeable lawyer. She wants to help people. This is how she got herself in the situation in the first place. I loved how she defended Pralec. Her quick wit and with the help of another "lawyer" she was able to get the facts in order. The trial was interesting. I also loved how she instinctively took Mia under her wings. Pralec has his secrets and reasons for living a isolated life. Loved how they met and how Pralec defended her and Natalie. This is a standalone story with wonderful characters. Another story with heart .

No plot spoilers No potential triggers I have all of the books in this series, and have enjoyed collecting them. The series has been entertaining even though it is lightweight. Now, at number 10, I am calling the collection complete for me at least. There are only so many times you can read the same plotline, and I have realised that the characters have slowly become wooden to the point that there is no personality in any of them. The bad guys are always the same, the relationship is always the same and the resolution is always the same. If you are looking for a light read for a couple of hours you may enjoy the series. Be aware though that there is little romance and absolutely no sci fi element. I have enjoyed the journey but it's time for me to jump ship.
Pralec and Barbara are my latest favorite Cire-human couple in a long line of favorites! There is just something special about these noble Cire that melts my heart. They are all so humble and grateful for the kindness and generosity of their fated mates and the children they are gifted. Pralec is no different, and Barbara is his lucky abducted human with a daughter fate gifted them. Sometimes it is hard to hate the Vedeckians! Their methods and motivations may be evil, but the end results for many of the women they steal are sweet. Case in point is Joanna from The Nanny and the Alien Warrior, who makes a return with her mate, Craxan, and their family. Craxan and Joanna help Pralec and Barbara find their happily ever after, which was perfect. This series and Honey Phillips, never let me down!
Pralec, a Cire warrior is from a dying planet. He refuses to watch injustices against women and speaks out against it. He has no choice but to flee with his honor intact and break his vow. Barbara Is a corporate lawyer whom finds herself tired of working so hard and no receive any recognition from it. She leaves her job in search of a new start. As she is walking home she hears a woman screaming and tries to help her. Barbara wakes up to find she has been abducted and is on an alien ship. She flees with other women and children whom were also captured and crash lands on a back water planet. Luckily Pralec finds them and helps them navigate their new situation. Chemistry sparks between them and choices need to be made. Book ends in an HEA for all three of tge abducted women and children.

Sanctuary for the Alien Warrior is a heartwarming romance that finds MMC Cire warrior Pralec trying to outrun his past and finding refuge on the small backwater planet of Orman. Little could he have imagined what fate would soon put in his path when he rescues a small group of human females and little ones in the planets jungle. MFC Barbara who had been abducted from Earth by alien slavers sets his tail moving with a mind of it’s own as a connection soon begins to form between them. I enjoyed following along with their story of adventure and obstacles to love that flowed throughout a well written, very engaging read which I couldn’t put down until a perfectly special HEA.

This series has the sweetest of romances with a baby or two to make it even better. Barbara didn't expect being kidnapped by aliens would bring her the loves of her life. She is not the only human women kidnapped. There are two other human women and a set of twins and a little girl named Mia who Barbara takes charge of after her mother killed herself when she was sold to an alien. When their small ship crashed, they are saved by a Cire warrior named Pralec. Mia immediately becomes attached to him as well as Barbara as time goes on. They almost lost each other when the humans board a ship to help them get back to Earth. Pralec can't stay away from Barbara or Mia. Love blossoms even more and all have a very happy ending.
I am absolutely loving this series, and it gets better with each one.
Honey's amazing ability to give us what we want / need is a true testament of her passion as a writer and understanding the needs of her followers.
Throughout this story, the compassion you feel between Barbara and Pralec tugs at your heartstrings. Their immediate connection brings forth a beautiful family unit that neither had expected to experience.
A beautiful story, Honey, and I hope we hear more from Mia and Vani......way way down the line 💜.

These children with the Cire males are just my favorite. It's so wonderful that the human women find males that will love and cherish them. Barbara quit her job and was taken. She ends up finding Pralec when she really needed a hero. He doesn't think he deserves her but we all know these Cire males need love after the death of so many of their kind long ago. I love spunky Barbara. She's no nonsense and will speak her mind. Cute little Mia just needs stability and she knows somehow that he's a good male. I love the cameo from Joann, Lord Craxen and their little family. If you love alien romance and cute kids this is the book you should read.
This story played like a movie in my head! I loved it all! I felt for the characters as if they were real, and what they were going through, viscerally touched me. Barbara kept the group of girls together when most people would have freaked out, kind of like Natalie did. When Pralec found them, his timing was impeccable, and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to get involved. But the honor of a Cire warrior, as witnessed in previous books, led him to step in when he did. The story is full of ups and downs, but centers on the immediate connection between Mia, Barbara, and Pralec. I couldn't stop reading once I started, I can still see it playing out in my head!
I love this series so much. Despite the general meeting of the Cire and their fated mates being similar, somehow it just always feels different for each couple. As soon as there is a new one available I have to have it.
The tail always seems to know and it is no different with Pralec. He is such an honourable male and yet he cannot see himself in this light. He was put in a very difficult situation and there seemed no other way out. Had he possibly not been Cire it would never have affected him in the same way. Barbara was brilliant. She showed herself to be resourceful, capable and resilient but so much more than that I genuinely liked her.
This started and kept was going on three separate females who were abducted. Plus the twin boys that were Carina and little Mia who takes to our main human woman Barbara. The third is a younger woman Natalie. Barbara takes charge and after highjacking a spacecraft (cough cough) lands on a planet where they find Pralec. He helps them and soon discovers that Barbara is his mate and therefore Mia is his daughter. It takes most of the book for them to finally follow their hearts towards their happiness. Then tragedy comes. It will take the help of a mated couple we know from a previous story to get them on their right path again.
