Grumpy Grunts and Sunshine Cooks

This book was Trey Baxter, of the Aces Series, story. Getting to read his story was fun because he is so grumpy all the time. he doesn’t like people and lacks a soft side for anyone. Then walks Ella walks in and changes everything. Ella left her family farm where she was controlled by her father, being forced to marry an awful person, and was their slave in the house. She boarded a train from Vermont all the way to Boston. She had met a girl that was helping her but ended up being betrayed by her and the boyfriend. She went to Trey’s club and was shell shocked by what she was seeing. A douchbag decided to buy her a drink and spiked it. Thankfully, security was watching and was able to save her before something happened. After spending the night on Trey’s couch in his office recuperating from the drug, she is met with a stone of a man that grunts most of his replies. He brings her up to the penthouse, and pretends he needs a housekeeper to give her something to do. Eventually, they start to realize their attraction yo each other and it gets super spicy!!! Trey is completely out of his element with her and is acting weird with everyone else. Towards the end comes the “problem” and it helps both of them to realize their feelings and the Aces do what they do best and get their girl back. I’m looking forward to last book of the series which is Ryders book!

Trey & Ella

I was really looking forward to Trey's book. We learn a bit about him in Drake's then more in Nolan's because of Avery his sister. But in this book because we've already gotten their shared past we get more of why Trey is his grouchy unsociable self.
While it doesn't all completely make sense for the extent that he is the way he is. Ella brings out the best in him.

I was definitely waiting for a inexperienced virgin in this series and thought it would be Ryder; but it also makes sense for Trey because only an innocent sweet girl could break through his walls.

The events, the love scenes and finally a proper engagement.

Trey's book just had a different feeling to the previous two but I guess we'll see what Ryder's book is like.

This is the third book in this series, and this is Trey and Ella’s story.
This is a well written story which is a grumpy / sunshine romance, with engaging and realistic characters, action, suspense, emotions, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner.

This book is like if Kimmy Schmidt was a sex goddess who just wanted to get laid all the time. And the MMC immmediately wants to fuck her the second they meet. It’s borderline fantasy because it’s so absurd, but lucky for me I like fantasy books.

Juliana is the best character ever and I’d like more of her please.

I had high hopes for this book, but it didn’t fill all my wishes.
The MCs were lovable and fun to follow -even with the last conflict that was not how I wanted Trey to act! (I can’t say more without spoilers)
The name issues happen again in this book. This time it is Nicole vs Natalie. Ugh. I also found some inaccurate information that was told in a previous books.

Another fantastic instalment in the Four Aces series. Ella thinks Trey is a big grumpy cinnamon roll hiding behind his tattooed outside. Trey is protective of the beautiful woman he found drugged near his nightclub. A steamy and sexy story.

3rd book in the series and I like how it’s a continuation on the timeline between the men’s lives and not jumping back and overlapping like some others do. Grumpy sunshine with a little smut. Very well written.

Wasn’t sure I would like treys story and I was right I didn’t like it
