Four hot-shot start-up founders walked into my VC firm three years ago hoping for an investment but mistook me for an assistant. After listening to their pitch, I showed them the door. Now, three of them are back seeking a second chance and my help taking down their conniving former partner.

There's Declan, the brooding businessman with a mind for strategy and a sharp tongue. Linc, the life-of-the-party engineer with a devilish smile. And Shane, the mysterious tech genius with piercing blue eyes that see far more than they should. Despite our history, there's something about them that draws me in.

My business is my life–I've given everything to build a legacy I’m proud of. And I’ve never taken my eyes off the prize. But when our boardroom activities spill into the bedroom, my world turns upside down.

I'm Lex Livingston, the respected and admired female founder of Athena Ventures, the most successful VC in the Bay. But when I’m on my knees for the three of them, all I want is to succumb. And, somehow, they know just what I need.

Can my heart survive them? I don't know if I'm prepared to find out.

I BETA and ARC read this one, and as a why choose girly, it did not disappoint!

This one is the third book in the South Bay Billionaires (series of standalones), and they just keep giving me what I didn't know I needed from this series! I didn't think Van & Cami could be topped (& I still love them so much), but when you give me three MMC's?! Bless it lol!

Lex, Linc, Shane, & Declan are HOT! Like, their chemistry could set their surroundings on actual fire! Whenever they have any interaction or are in the same room together, the tension is palpable! Some of the best chemistry I've read, because not only does Lex have it with one man, but all three!

Lex is always in charge, the head of her company, & in general all things around her. Not that it's a bad thing, but when she is with the guys, none of that matters. All three give her different things, but all know what she needs, even when she doesn't. She can just let go & not have to worry about anything, which for her is a huge deal! Lex is such a badass, and I love that we see not only her strong and powerful side, but her soft and feminine side as well!

The guys are just fine, fine, fine! Their dynamic is great, such a family vibe (granted two are brothers), but the way they keep each other in check and how they approach their relationship with Lex is well done! Declan is probably my favorite, even though I wanted to shake him multiple times with how he fought the feelings for Lex lol!

I loved this one, and if you're a why choose fan like me, add it to your TBR now!

There’s just something about these South Bay Billionaires…these men are just *chef’s kiss*…well, mostly. Declan needed a good DiNozzo slap to the head, but he finally came around.

Now although Gio (Van Costa) still has my heart and is my number one book boyfriend, I must say I wish I was Lex and had her harem. These “boys” and the way they take care of her, in and out of the bedroom, just makes my heart swoon. And the bedroom scenes… 🥵 major spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.

I will say it was a very nice breath of fresh air having a FMC in her 40s, no pregnancy trope, and not third act break up (not really, just real world stuck in your head and having to work it out - some more than others *ahem Declan*).

I really enjoyed Lex & her guys’ story. It’s definitely one I’ll read again in the future.

okay, so i'm gonna be honest and say "why choose"/any harem romances have never really been my thing. i always struggled to keep going because the writing just seemed too... forced, cringey, or the women just seemed dense and superficial af. and they usually seem to never have any consistent plot or point to the story as a whole. but this?! THIS!?! i looooved this.

the FMC (Lex) is a woman in her 40s who has always known what she wants and goes for it. and here's the thing y'all.. she's the billionaire. and somehow these men know just how to give her everything she wants, needs, and then some. there's plenty of tension that builds, so when the spice hits... it has you sweating, squealing, and gasping for air. they're so in tune with HER needs, whether she realizes it or not. this is considering that Lex is a boss a$$ b*tch, and we love her for it. professionally, she runs the show. but behind closed doors, she's able to just let things flow. and again, we love her for it.

i genuinely loved the buildup in the tension. the chemistry and relationship between all characters. they each seem to be perfect and flawed at the same time, which makes it somehow believable. and relatable. Lex seems to have such a multifaceted personality, and all three MMCs catered to all of that.

i previously read "Reserved" last year by these same authors and loved it. i find it unsurprising for me to love this book just as much. they seem to have perfected the recipe of an amazing FMC and swoon-worthy men. and to make sure there's a steady plot going without falling flat!? YES. this is how it's done. so for those who never cared for "why choose" romances, i bet this will change your mind. 5/5 stars. period.

disclaimer: i received this as an ARC. all thoughts and opinions of this book are my own, and i leave this review voluntarily.

Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spicy content 🌶🌶🌶.5/5

I received this as an ARC, and my thoughts are honest and my own.
I first want to say thank you to the authors for the amazing opportunity to read this as an ARC.

An oh my goodness, I loved this book. Who doesn't love a bad ass female billionaire and three driven and dominant men!
I love how each guy is different but still dominant. I love that Lex is a strong, independent woman, but when it comes to her men, she feels safe enough to give herself to them.

I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, but man, the world building in this book is fantastic, along with the banter and pure power, while Lex also takes absolutely no shit from anyone!

This book comes out May 24th! So, make sure you pick this up to read!

Lex and her boys…*chefs kiss.* I love a good why choose romance. We all know there’s always that one man who takes a while to get a grip. Declan, my man.. I do have a soft spot for him though. I love how this story played out, very much enjoyed the plot. The spicy scenes were also fantastic. The epilogue scene with the ribbon 😮‍💨. I did really appreciate the character development in this book and how there were actual ups and downs and struggles in this book and not just glorified romance the whole time. It makes the story more relatable and believable. I appreciated that Lex is an actual adult, like successful business woman, boss ass babe.

I can’t wait for the next book to come out.. my thoughts are either Nate and Cass or Jax and Ruby 🥸.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this book in advance.

I am in love with the South Bay Billionaires series! In Succumed our Billionaire is a kick ass woman, Lexi who catches the eye of not only one but THREE smart up and comers. Dec is the rough around the edges business brain, he’s skeptical of bringing Lexi in and trusting her but he may also be jealous of his brother and best friend’s relationship with her. Lex is the younger brother with a carefree spirit who is just so easy to be around and then there is Shane. Shane who manages the tech along with Lex with his deep commanding voice! Lexi is always in charge running her company but relishes at the thought of giving that control to these three men and it is worth it! Such a good read not only full of spice, and it is but also a beautiful love story full of growth and forgiveness!

Wooooow! I feel like this is not the typical "Why Choose?" - at least in my experience. Other books I've read that are in this genre are typically repetitive and the plot gets lost in all the "fun times." I really enjoyed how the authors worked hard to give each character a detailed background while still leaving some room for the reader to add in little nuances as they think about the characters. If I were suggesting a book for a newcomer of the genre, I'd honestly lend them this one (and have them read the content warnings!) I really believe the way they all...worked? haha...together was beautiful and full of trust. The fact that there was no third act breakup really added to my experience. This was #3 in the series, but can be read without reading the others, although I do look forward to reading 1 and 2.

✨ARC Review✨

Now I am a very big ‘why choose’ girlie and when I saw these authors where writing a why choose romance I knew it was not going to disappoint.

Firstly I just want to comment on the reverse power play in this book.. Normally when you read a billionaire romance it’s normally the man who has all the power, and while I also adore those types of reads I absolutely devoured that the roles were reversed in this book and in fact our main girl Lex had all the power, in which Dec, Shane and Linc need her to get their idea off the ground💅 As a woman who works in finance/corporate world I adored this.

Lex I absolutely adored her, and related quite a lot to her at times. Lex is a very dominating individual in her day to day life due to her job and her giving up the sort of power especially in the bedroom to the three guys really showed a lot, mostly how much she cared and trusted each of them.

Dec, Shane and Linc.. it’s why choose for a reason because I seriously cannot choose a favourite between each of them. My heart broke for Declan at times as he believed he was the reason for a lot of their issues in relation to their project. The guys had a strong family unit which I also loved and supported one another. I also loved how they welcomed Lex into that unit- some quicker more than others👀

I want to keep this spoiler free but this book is jammed packed full of action and spice that will keep you turning those pages✨

Thank you so much to the authors for this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

I was lucky enough to be a Beta and ARC reader for this amazing book! I read it twice in 2 months, and I can't wait to read it again!

I love Why Choose romances, and this book is one of my favorite ones! I love how each of the guys had their own unique personality and special moments with Lex. Shane brought her lunch at work, Linc ran with her each morning, and Dec took time to open up to her, but when he finally did, it was beautiful. Each guy had a piece of Lex's heart, and they all fit together so well. It really was seamless how they all were a family together.

Lex is a boss in the boardroom, but as she finds out, she isn't a boss in the bedroom. Linc, Shane, and Dec bring out the best in Lex, and she brings out the best in them. This book is super spicy (don't skip the epilogue!).

Reading a book with a 41 year FMC who is a billionaire was so refreshing. I loved that all of the guys were in their 30s too. It allowed the characters to grow as individuals and as part of a relationship.

I have loved the South Bay Billionaires series, and I can't wait to read book #4!

Thanks to the authors, Ashley Jacobs and S.S. Rich, for allowing me to be a beta and ARC reader of this fantastic book.

Y'ALL. This book was everything I needed.

This book ended up being everything I could have hoped for and MORE. It left me so warm and fuzzy afterward, but also fanning myself because the spice was SPICING in this one! This is a Why Choose MFMM, and while not everyone's cup of tea, the characters were multidimensional, the story was (as usual) incredibly well-written, and the relationships between characters were emotional and realistic.

There is something so poetic and beautiful about watching a strong-ass woman who is used to being on her own open herself up and become completely vulnerable to accept the love and attention of someone else (and by someone else, I mean...three someone elses). I felt a kinship with Lex on many levels, especially regarding her feelings of being enough and the baggage she carries from her upbringing. I think many women will see a part of them in Lex and her insecurities and I hope this book helps remind them - and me - that we are enough, as we are, right now.

As for the men? Well, each one has their own personality and way of caring for others, and it was incredible to see them worship the ground that Lex walks on. While one was a bit more difficult than the others (looking at you, Dec), each of them brought something unique to the story and relationship, rounding out the group in way that felt effortless and natural.

Okay, if you've read this far, I know this review is all over the place but please - if any of these tropes are your jam, you NEED to read this book!

- Multiple love interests
- Mature FMC
- She's the billionaire
- Enemies-to-lovers
- Workplace romance
- Lots of "yes sir"

Book Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I received this as an ARC, and my review is honest and my own.

- Why choose?
- Female billionaire
- Enemies - to - lovers
- Workplace Romance
- Lots of “Yes, Sir”

Ummm can you get a better trope list?

Succumbed is the third instalment in a series of standalone’s called the South Bay Billionaires.

This was honestly such a fun, steamy read. Ashley Jacobs & S.S Rich killed it again with these characters. I was honestly so excited to read about Lex and get to know her story, she is such a strong, independent boss woman and knows just how to command a room.

Now, the men! Oh my lord the men. Declan, Lincoln and Shane are just *chefs kiss*. Lincoln was my absolute favourite, I loved this man right from the beginning and I truly think every woman needs a Lincoln in their life. I know I know normally I’m drawn to the broody asshole male character and trust me I loved Declan but Lincoln has my heart.

If you love why choose, steamy scenes of dominant men and a bad ass woman then this book is for you!

Thanks again to Ashley and S.S for giving me the opportunity of receiving this as an ARC I had so much fun as always.

Happy reading xx

I think it’s tricky to set a “why choose” romance set in the worlds of business startups and venture capitalists. They’re not intrinsically hot and they work insane hours.

It’s harder when you don’t do your research.

I had to DNF when I was rolling my eyes even during the sex scenes.

Oy. And the “broody” guy was SO annoying.

For context, I worked for my library’s business center and became very familiar with the startup process, as well as the research that goes into a pitch. I even started a Lean In circle for business women, and met Sheryl Sandberg at her house (along with the 65 other chapter leaders). I wouldn’t expect an author to have this experience, but I think even watching Shark Tank would have helped.

Oooo I’ve been waiting for this one🫶🏻

Ahhh Lex is a bad ass bitch, I love that this book is different to most I’ve read, this FMC is in her 40’s, doesn’t want kids or marriage- such a breath of fresh air and something different from the other books I have been reading!

Linc, Shane & Declan are the ultimate trio, they’re so driven, caring and 🫠🥵. They treat Lex like the queen she is and I ate it all up.. the spice in this book was just 🫠🫠😳

Linc is defo my fave, I love Golden Retriever MMC’s🫠🫠
Shane is the quiet yet sexy MMC and the peacemaker between everyone and I just loved the way he cared for everyone…. The aftercare 🙌🏻🙌🏻
And Declan…. I did not like Declan at the start, he is the Grumpy (asshole at some points) MMC, but he deffo redeemed himself, that speech nearly had me in tears- so emotionally raw and it shows how much his character developed throughout this book🫶🏻

The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because I just can’t seem to get my head around Linc & Declan being actual brothers and being in this situation… but hey, if they’re fine with it- so am I🤣🫶🏻

Congrats on another great book in this series! I cannot wait for the next one (hoping it’s a Preston book, I saw the hint at the end😉)

I recommend this book if you love:

- Why Choose Romance
- Found Family
- Workplace
- Billionaire Romance
- Enemies to Lovers

I received this book as an ARC, but I am voluntarily leaving a review☺️

Forty is the new thirty amirite?! Lex Livingston, a ‘mature’ billionaire FMC proves that age is just a number and all of your dreams can come true when you least expect it.

I am 100% a why choose girly and let me tell you, this book did not disappoint! All of the main characters were fierce in their own way and they also broke, and succumbed (if you will), to whatever they feared and held them back. Lincoln is a bit of a golden retriever, fun, playful. Shane is stoic and very alpha male. Declan is the moody, broody delicious man who takes the longest to accept what’s right in front of him. The growth in each of them was beautiful to read. And the spice?! Wooooooow. 😮‍💨 All three men were dominant in their own way, and Lex submitted to each and everyone of them. She may be a powerhouse in the corporate world, but in the bedroom, she submits to her three men and loves every single moment of being their good girl.

”𝙄’𝙢 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨, 𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙, 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙣𝙤 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙖 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙬 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙…𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙨𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚.”

This book was FANTASTIC! This series just keeps getting better and better. Thank you to Ashley Jacobs and S.S Rich for this arc in exchange for my honest review!🫶🏻 I am so excited for the next book!

okay this is a very delayed arc review and i am so sorry, but i am so so grateful that i had the opportunity to read succumbed.

when i saw that this was going to be a why choose, i was instantly excited. i think the authors absolutely picked the right character to be our why choose girl. i've loved lex since the first time i read about her, and her story gave her everything that she deserved.

something i often find in why choose stories is that the fmc finds her men and just submits entirely, losing her personality or letting them take over her life. lex does the exact opposite. she holds true to her boundaries and limits where she wants to, but she relaxes them when she feels safe. the guys are absolutely respectful of this, and they never try to force her to break these limits.

the men in this story made my heart so happy. i felt like they were all an excellent balance for each other, and they were just so respectful. they loved lex from the second she let a fraction of a wall down. and let me tell you, declan being the slowest of slow burns had me giggling and kicking my feet. i am a sucker for a grumpy man, and i like how lex didn't try to "sunshine" him into melting. she didn't change for him. she forced him to take control of his emotions.

also the spice was spicing. good lord, was the spice spicing.

ashley jacobs and s.s. rich never disappoint me, and god i can't wait for the next book.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Does that explain it?!? I absolutely loved this book. Probably more than the last book. You know what, definitely more than the last. And isn’t that what you kind of expect from series/interconnected standalones. For them to gradually get better and this one definitely did.
Lex and her boys are incredible. She’s the billionaire. And how refreshing is that!!! She’s so against the idea of a romantic love and the way they all fall for each other is a sight to see. I don’t want to give too much away but here is one of my favorite quotes.

"Love is a choice, Lex. One you make every day.
There's lust and passion wrapped up in it, but ultimately it's you deciding you're willing to give yourself to someone, to put them first, regardless of what you get in return."

my thoughts: THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD BOOK! I’ve already really enjoyed the series, but this one may be my fav, I couldn’t put it down! So grateful to have received an ARC!

Lex is such a strong and independent woman, she’s incredible in her office, but her world in turn upside down when Linc, Shane, and Declan enter her world. The guys show her a new side of living.

Their relationship was so good in my opinion! While they still faced many obstacles and had to come to terms with how they all feel, I really liked how everything played out in the book with them all together! The guys really love her and they helped her see that she deserves to be loved and to be happy! 🩷

I loved this book. Lex is just such an amazing character. She's such a strong, determined, successful, and powerful female lead that not only empowers other women but shows kindness, patience, and love without letting anyone walk all over her or disrespect her. Then we get Linc who's a cinnamon roll of a man, sweet and loving; we get Shane who's controlled, observant, with precise attention to detail but also caring and fiercely loving; and lastly, Declan who's jaded, and infuriatingly hard headed but willing to grovel. The way their relationship grows and blossoms is just exquisite, and the passion between them is to die for. Seeing Lex trust these three and give up control in the bedroom made me sweat in the best of ways. This is one story you don't want to miss.

Another great addition to the South Bay Billionaires series, only this time the FMC is the Billionaire!
When I first started this series, I wasn't expecting a why choose to be part of the series, but this was a welcome surprise.
I loved the difference between Boardroom Lex and Bedroom Lex, and for possibly the first time in a why choose, I can't choose a favourite MMC.
The sneaky 5th POV chapter was great, and whilst we have seen sprinkles of the animosity between Lex and Nate throughout the series, it was great to see them getting closer. Here's hoping for a Nate book next, so we can see him build a relationship with his son.

This book was so good! Walking into this book I was determined that Declan was gonna be my favorite of the guys, but Linc swooped in and took that spot instantly. Don’t get me wrong, I still love each and every one of them but something about Linc😮‍💨 Lex was such a badass! Loved her character and it was so inspiring to see her in the positions that she held. I love how she was always in charge but trusted the guys enough to let go of control. The relationship they built was beautiful to watch come together from beginning to end. Shane Kelly was hot as hell! He might described as quiet but behind closed doors, he’s something else. Declan was brooding but Lex tore down those walls that even he knew he couldn’t keep up for long after being around her. Lincoln was always happy, such a great character honestly. He was down bad for Lex since the very beginning. Overall this book was such a fun, spicy, fantastic read! So glad I got the chance to beta read it.

I was really looking forward to this book. Lex is such a strong business woman. And from the snippets from the previous books, I found her to be really dominant.
Whychoose is one of my favorite tropes.

I thought it was a good story too. Although it was a bit difficult at first to get into the story because it was very technical (explanation of the invention). But afterwards the story reads very smoothly.

I'm also very curious about the other two books.

Blown Away.
The blurb to this book can be found on the authors' IG or any seller.

These characters are all so incredibly different yet have the same basic internal desire to seek out love, family, and someone who understands them on a basic molecular level.

Our three men are already connected. They have been bros/besties since childhood. Declan & Lincoln are brothers by blood, and Shane is a brother by choice. These three are inseparable and rely on each other, trust each other, and genuinely love each other.

Insert our powerful FMC, Lex, and the brothers' bond will either snap - but does it break, or does it become tighter and stronger?

Lexi is a billionaire CEO of her own venture capital company. She doesn't need a man. She is the epitome of strength. She is also extremely smart, kind, empathetic, and carries the weight of the world on her shoulders.
I have liked Lex since book 1. I have been waiting for her to find her HEA. She commands every room she enters, I knew the authors would need to amp up the character development in order to introduce the man this character needs.

Turns out there is no possible way that ONE man was enough to handle all of Lex. The authors gave us 3 distinctly different men who satisfy every possible need that Lex has. It's fucking perfect.

1. Lincoln - playful & the life of the party. He's the one you can kick back with, relax, and just have a good time. Or you can rely on him to give you a night you'll never forget. He's truly the golden Retreiver of the bunch.
2. Shane - outwardly domesticated. He is the level headed mediator of the group. The one with the big picture thinking to overcome the problems. He is a protector, a caretaker, but smart as a whip. Behind closed doors - "Yes Sir" is all you need to say.
3. Declan - he's our grumpy alphahole. He's stoic and moody, comes to the table when called but is not happy about it. He is not one who trusts easily. He gives me Akita vibes.

Excellent dynamic. Excellently written.
I devoured it in one sitting. Thanks to

Well first I’ll start with that I absolutely fell in love with this book so hard! She’s the billionaire is definitely new to me and hot damn do I absolutely love it! Omg Lex was such an amazing FMC I loved how she stood on business. Three hot shots she has met before meet her for a meeting and well even though the first time blew up in flames this time would definitely change Lex’s mind about these men. Linc I could feel myself smiling for through the book and Shane holy god 🔥🔥 He could come bring me lunch any day because I definitely am forgetting to take care of myself too! Declan is the a$$hole that seriously tests Lex but while Dec is like that she completely puts him in his place. The care and love these 4 have for each other was beautiful and I truly wish I could read this again for the first time! They truly each have such a part in the relationship that makes them all be the best together. My heart was so happy at the end!

I seriously am already impatiently waiting for the next book!

Firstly, I’d like to say thank you so much to the Ashley Jacobs and S.S. Rich for kindly sending me this ARC! I’m always so grateful for not only having early access to your books, but also your kindness.

Succumbed was a very different read for me, as it was my first “why choose” novel. While it may not be a trope I will always reach for (likely due to that’s not a relationship that I would envision myself in) that did not take away any enjoyment that I had for this book! Seeing Lex and “her boys” in this sort of workplace romance, mixing their business with pleasure was honestly really interesting. Through the evolution of their relationship we were able to see them all become vulnerable with one another (which was incredibly difficult at time for Lex) and be of great comfort to one another was so lovely to see.

As per usual with these authors, they really did not mess around when it came to the spice, so if that’s something you particularly like in your romance books I’d highly suggest checking out this series!

Another thing which was one of my absolute favourites about this book and interconnected stand-alone series in general was the cameos from character in the previous books. So really it should come as no surprise that I wanted to squeal with delight every time my favourites Van and Cami made an appearance!

Overall while this book for me didn’t top ‘Reserved’ I still very much enjoyed my time reading xx

This is Book 3 of the South Bay Billionaires Series!

I was lucky enough to receive as an ARC 🥰

Get ready for a steamy, high-stakes adventure in the world of venture capital with Ashley Jacobs and S.S. Rich's sizzling contemporary romance, Succumbed.

Lex Livingston, the formidable female founder of Athena Ventures, is a force to be reckoned with in the cutthroat world of Silicon Valley. Her life takes an unexpected turn when three hot-shot start-up founders—Declan, Linc, and Shane—re-enter her life seeking her help. These men, who once mistook her for an assistant, now need her expertise to take down their former partner.

Jacobs and Rich skilfully weave a narrative filled with tension, passion, and power dynamics. Lex is a mature, successful woman who embodies strength and ambition, making her a refreshing and inspiring protagonist. Her interactions with the three men are charged with electricity, each bringing their own unique qualities to the table: Declan's strategic mind and sharp tongue, Linc's charismatic and playful nature, and Shane's enigmatic presence and penetrating gaze.

The story expertly balances the professional and personal realms, as Lex navigates the complexities of her high-powered career while exploring her deepest desires with Declan, Linc, and Shane. The authors delve into themes of power, control, and vulnerability, creating a rich tapestry of emotions and sensuality.

What sets Succumbed apart is its unapologetic portrayal of a powerful woman who isn't afraid to take charge in the boardroom and the bedroom. The "enemies-to-lovers" and "workplace romance" tropes are executed flawlessly, with plenty of "yes sir" moments that add to the story's spicy allure.

The romance is intense and multifaceted, with each man bringing out different aspects of Lex's personality and desires. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, making their interactions both steamy and heartfelt. The story's pacing is perfect, with a blend of slow-burning tension and explosive passion.

Succumbed is a captivating and sultry addition to the South Bay Billionaires series, delivering a powerful and empowering love story that will leave readers breathless. Ashley Jacobs and S.S. Rich have crafted a tale of love, ambition, and self-discovery that is as inspiring as it is titillating.

5⭐|5🌶|4🥵

I so loved book 1 & 2. When I saw what book 3 is about I knew I needed it. I LOVE why choose. And sure I wanted to know more about Lex 😁 PLUS, Lex is a FMC who finally is my age. She is still younger, but more my age than FMCs normally are. Even in age gap, the MMCs are mostly younger than me. Yes, I'm old 🙈

The "boys" 🥵 omg they are so special. I can understand Lex to 100%. I couldn't choose one either.
Linc, the golden retriever. He is so cute but still so dirty.
They all are very dírty and have very fiÍthy mouths. Oh and how fiÍthy their mouths are 🔥
Shane, the most domínánt of the group. Domínáncé and submíssíon are his. He is also tattooed and pierced 😎
Dec, he is extra special. He thinks he is responsible for everything that happened in the past. The betrayal of their former business partner Anne-Marie had caused huge damage to him. He can't trust anyone anymore, except for his brother and best friend. Lex is his idol, but that doesn't change his fear. I felt so sorry for him 🥺 I wanted to scream at him, but also just wanted to take him in my arms.

Lex doesn't have trust issues, but with her family history, she has commitment issues.

The 🌶️ in this book is top-notch. The authors so know how to write it. And they can't stop when they started a scene 😉 We get nearly everything, except for vanilla 😎 So, be aware if you read this book during summertime, you may need a pool to jump into multiple times 🥵

I can't wait to read the next book in the series, and I think it will be Preston? I hope so. There are hints at the end of the book, even a little trope hint. And YES please, I need it 🤩 Just 2 hints and I know I need this new book. I don't know anything about book 5 either yet, but I know I need to read it too 🤩

I received this book as an arc and this is my review.

I have to say Succumbed by Ashley Jacobs & S.S. Rich is pure perfection. It has the perfect balance of spice and a great storyline. The characters are just perfect and make the story just flow. They definitely have a way with words that just suck you in and make you want more from the story.

This story follow Lex a billionaire whose business is to help start ups get their start, she didn’t have a wonderful childhood and had to fight for everything. She meets again Declan, Linc and Shane who let their business partner mess up their meeting with her business and let’s just say when they met again Linc saw her beauty and wanted to have more interaction then just business and Shane followed suit. Declan was a little bit of a hard nut to crack. But definitely read this book and follow Lex and her boys and see how everything comes together. There’s spice, theirs drama, theirs a little bit of everything for a reader to sink their teeth into.

This was a very beautifully written, heartwarming story. I loved it! The plot was well thought out and executed and the character development was amazing - you really feel like you know the characters involved….I adored them all. Oooo and the spice…well that was hot too with a capital H. I don't think I've read many RHs where all the MMCs are dominant but I can't say that it was a bad thing! This book took me on such a rollercoaster of emotions…I was tearing up at one point at the way Declan was talking about himself and how he felt. Such a sweetheart underneath the douchey exterior he portrayed.
Whilst this was the third book in this series, you really don't have to read them in order. I had stared Arrived but couldn't wait to get started on this one…I'm definitely a sucker for the whole multiple male love interests. Would definitely recommend the read!
