An incredible boxset!

Dark triad book one and Natalia has created a world in her own image. Where everyone worships her, everyone loves her, well until they don’t! The world building was beautiful and descriptive, the characters are well developed and the storyline full of adventure, magic, danger, mystery and suspense. It’s a fast paced read as we follow Natalia’s road to self discovery and watch her grow and change and I look forward to the next book.

Book two. Three angels fall, each to separate worlds and each has a lesson learn. This time it is Azazel who yearns for power and believes she has the perfect world. Bring in Antonio who she believes to be the love of her life but at what cost? It’s a well written, fast paced read that draws you in hook, line and sinker with an exciting storyline full of magic, danger, mystery, intrigue and secrets. It’s a great addition to this series and it was gripping to see what Antonio would do once he discovers Azazel’s secrets

Book three and this time it’s Raziel‘s story and it’s every bit as addictive as the other books. It’s been an incredible fantasy series as we have followed these three fallen angels and the journeys they have taken. Well paced and action packed I once again found myself immersed into this incredible world as we join Angelus and Raziel to get their part of the story. An intriguing read full of mystery, suspense, danger, magic and the author gives us a fantastic conclusion to this series!

Really wanted to like this, but I just couldn't get into it. I DNF at 15% after my soul had slowly started to leech from my body. The main character was annoying and made me want to launch my kobo through a wall due to the incessant page after page of self love attitude and 'love me, only me' babbling, 'aren't I beautiful' tone. Blah blah. Like I get it, just shut up. I've never been so annoyed with a character in my life. I understand that was the intention of the author, because the character was supposed to be a vain narcissist, that had a stick up her own butt. But I just couldn't deal with it any longer. The world building was decent from what I could tell between the vanity ramblings page after page. I wish there had been more plot to entertain me instead of the over described fallen angels babbling. I enjoyed the other characters a little better, I could envision them as grovelling pathetic bottom feeders. Needy little souls craving her attention. I honestly wish I'd liked this book more, because I thought it sounded great. The author definitely portrayed the characters well, so this is not a reflection on the writing itself. I just do not like such whiny self absorbed characters like that.

This book is the complete trilogy of the Dark Triad. It's a dark fantasy trilogy following the story of three fallen angels who have made their realms on Earth after their banishment. Each volume follows a different fallen angel, and while there is a common plotline, all stories follow a different individual plot.

I liked this series overall and I thought that the author was really good at writing about these angels' fall from grace. I had read other works from this author so I knew that the writing would be great and the stories easy to read. If you are fan of the genre, you are sure to appreciate this book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book had me laughing, rolling my eyes and also in tears. Definitely recommend for those wanting a new take on angels and how they can alter the lives of mortals and how mortals can shed light apon the angels inner hearts.
