About the author

Kate grew up in Western Sydney, in Australia, and remains there today. She has always loved the written word, being influenced by the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, JR Ward and Anne Rice, she ventured into writing at a young age.

Finally taking the plunge in 2016 and publishing for the first time. Ever since, she’s been trying to bring the worlds she’s created in her head to the page for everyone else to enjoy as much as she does.

When she’s not writing, she’s looking after her bevvy of pets including snakes, lizards, axolotls, birds, a turtle and a dog with her husband Kyle.

This Novella is so good, and i can't wait to find out more. It is an amazing story and well written. Small town, witchy, back from the dead, and history from the past. If u don't think this is ur type of Novella, u should give it a try cause u definitely will like it.

I really enjoyed this Halloween novella & I really hope that this isn't the end of the story for these characters. Not only Alyssa & Zander, but all the side characters as well. I would love to see what adventures could be in store for them!!!

I loved how this story was quick to pick up as it was focused on events happening over a couple of days at Halloween. We are given just enough breadcrumbs throughout the book to hold our interest & not draw out the story unnecessarily.

If you like serial killers and magic this is definitely a good book to dive into. I enjoyed the characters, especially Elijah. Despite it being on the shorter side of novels it really held a good pace and it didn't feel too rushed.

I am a big fan of serial killers and I enjoyed the author adding the details about collecting memorabilia, it was a nice touch. The book was definitely well written and I don't have any complaints except it being short. Overall I would give the book 4.5 stars!!!

With such a quick read, Bonham has managed to pack it full of action, angst and a sprinkle of the supernatural.
I would happily see these characters return in a mini series - where they each have their own book but feature in each other's stories.

That was fun

Alyssa needs to sort through her grandmother's stuff before selling her house.

By complete accident she brings her murderous grandfather back from beyond and now she has to stop him. With the help of her quirky best friend, a former mean girl and a smouldering, smirking Zander.

It's a short read, but a good time.

It was fast paced and well written!
Even though it was a quick book both the storyline and backstory got the attention they needed and I feel like I understand what happened beforehand to cause the events in the book!

Small town, spooky house, ghosts, magic, and some romance!
I felt things were rushed, but at the same time, this was a novella whereas I’m used to reading huge books. Definitely recommend if you want a quick read though!

Now this was a fun read with the Halloween vibes with a bit of mystery and the supernatural/ paranormal side of things and even tho it's was a novella we got a great amount of plot with spice and I really hoping that this wasn't the end for these characters.
