International bestselling author TC Matson brings us back to beautiful Chatley Bay, Florida with a small town, standalone romance about when two opposite worlds collide over coffee, bringing secrets, lies, and love.
Raine Life hasn’t been great for me. My parents are dead, the state took my little brother, and I only have two years left to get him back. There’s just one tiny problem. I need a home to bring him to. I’m homeless and living out of the back of my SUV, working as many hours as I can to get back on my feet. The last thing I need is a tall, blue-eyed hottie to turn my world upside down. But that’s the very thing that happens when he comes into the coffee shop. He sees through my mask and pokes holes in my defenses from the very beginning. He’s charming, funny, really good-looking, and has the best-worst ice breakers. He also oozes wealth. It’s in his suits, the way he carries himself, and the fat tips he leaves. A date is all he asked for. Who knew I’d get way more than I bargained for. Now, I’m too far in with no way out but heartache.
Holden I was just supposed to fly back to my hometown and attend my aunt’s funeral. What I didn’t expect was to inherit a house. Or become intrigued by the barista at the local coffee shop. Both are an inconvenience since I live two thousand miles away. She’s beautiful with the most compelling green eyes. Her witty banter keeps me coming back day after day while in town. She has no idea who I am nor how deep my pockets are. She treats me like an average man, which only intensifies the interest I have for her. A date is all I asked for. I didn’t expect to fall head over heels for her. How was I to know she was holding on to secrets that would change everything?
Find My Way Home is a steamy, full of banter and heartbreak that will have you desperately turning the page while it delivers you an HEA.

Find My Way Home is the perfect title to this sweet story of Opposites Attract! I read this one in one sitting! TC brings ALL THE FEELS in this story! These characters are some of my favorites that I have read.
I loved Holden from the first second he was introduced, and Raine is the best most headstrong female! I loved her independence and desire to do it on her own.
Raine and Holden have the best witty banter and made me laugh out loud with their back and forth. But they made my heart break too at times.
You can tell these two are perfect for each other in every way, and I couldn't wait to see their HEA on the pages of this book.
I went into this book blind. I hadn’t read anything by the author nor had I heard of them.
And I’m in love. This book was the perfect combo of easy fun and incredible banter, but also heartbreaking and emotional. It has a perfect balance between those two. I was instantly deeply invested in the story. The writing was addictive and I couldn’t put it away once I started.
Raine is a young woman struggling in life, but she is never giving up no matter what. She gives 110%. She’s trying her best to gain custody of her brother which proofs difficult for her - she lost her home and lives out of her car. She works many shifts as a low paid barista. But despite her bad situation, she is trying her hardest to get her brother out of the group home, before he becomes free for adoption. But she’s determined and doesn’t accept any help from anyone. She wants to fix it by herself.
Enter Holden Slade. Founder and owner of an airplane engine company. Rich. Hot. Charming. And a distraction Raine wants to avoid. She has her agenda all set. But when Holden meets the barista at the cafe, he is instantly smitten.
And let me tell you those two are adorable. I had the best time seeing them fall in love. They have incredible banter and tension. It’s spicy. It’s fun. And we slowly see Holden help Raine to heal and accept help. It’s heartbreaking and emotional. You feel with those two through every step of their story.
This book is for all my small town billionaire romance lovers out there, that want those to be meaningful and make them cry a bit.
Find My Way Home is a beautiful love story, that works the line between being an emotional read and an addictive fun time, perfectly. Big recommendation.

————————— thank you to TC Matson and Grey Promotions for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review <3
I read this book, sitting in the airport during a flight delay. Never once was I distracted, it pulled me in and held my attention. I fell in love with Raine and Holden and their story. Raine is being challenged by life, it has not been easy. Right now, her goal is to save money to get her brother from the state, but she will not ask for help. Holden has returned home for his aunt’s will reading, he meets Raine, and she has his attention. Was this his aunt's plan the whole time? I enjoyed the path these two took to friends and more.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Find my My Way Home was the first book I have read by author TC Matson. I am happy to say that right off the bat, I was invested in this sweet, heartwarming story. Raine is a hardworking batista who is struggling to overcome the difficult hand she has been given. He father shot and killed her mother years ago, leaving her and her younger brother parentless. With no way to provide for her brother, the state takes over, and he ends up living in a group home. Raine is living in her SUV and working like crazy to try and make enough to set up a home and adopt her brother. She tries to avoid distractions such as the gorgeous man who has set up a temporary office inside the coffee shop. Holden is home for his aunts funeral. He is surprised to find his aunt unexpectedly left him a house as an incentive to come home more often and focus on family, both his parents and his future. He hadn't given much thought to a future family, having been focused on building his business, but after meeting Raine, that began to change. There is just one problem Raine hides from Holden that she is homeless. She is afraid he will think she wants him for his money. When the truth is revealed and these two return to each other it is really beautiful.
I absolutely adored both of the main characters. They were both so likable and well written. These two have undeniable chemistry, great banter, and their attraction feels sweet and genuine. I enjoyed this book so much. I will be reading more by this author.
ARC provided by Grey's Promotions, and this is my honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. Holden was everything. Kaleb was hilarious as well. The only thing that bothered me was Raine. Idk what it was about her but she annoyed me so much. I couldn’t understand what she was doing with her money. If she’s been living out of her car for an entire year and some change, she should have had enough for at least a one bedroom. Then her not telling Holden and continuing to hide it, like she was some mass murderer or hiding from the FBI , I mean Jeeze lol you’re literally screwing the man every other chapter, telling him you love him, but you’re still lying and hiding stuff from him. And then when he does find out and begs her to stay with him, the audacity she had getting mad at him for wording it wrong….like come on… that was just silly. And allowing him to actually apologize for her not “trusting “ him enough to tell him? Why would he apologize? He was honest and told her anything she wanted to know, yeah he didn’t tell her he owned his own company , but that wasn’t a big deal really, maybe for Raine , but nothing compared to her… and to keep saying “ I should tell him, but what if he leaves me” …. Just to end up leaving him?!? Mannn he should have stayed in Colorado … lol other than her , I loved the other characters.
"Because the love I have for you breathes life into my soul." ... what a beautiful line!
I love Raine and Holden ... I think they're perfect for each other. This book had my heart breaking for Raine and her brother Kaleb ... I can't imagine having to fight to be together after such a horrific thing happening to their parents! Even though Holden is a workaholic and hasn't been in a relationship in years, he opens his heart to Raine completely ... and that makes my heart soar! This is a great addition to the series and I sure hope this isn't the last book in the series.
Raine and Kaleb's parents died 3 years ago and Raine only has two more years to get her act together so she can have Kaleb live with her instead of being adopted to someone else. But life has kicked her down so many times that she becomes homeless and lives out of her car. She's trying to save every penny from her barista job, so that she can get an apartment for her and Kaleb to live. Then one day, a handsome stranger comes into the coffee shop and the electricity between them is thick in the air.
Holden lives in Colorado and has hardly been home in three years. But when his aunt passes away, he comes home for the funeral and finds out that she has left him a house in his Florida home town ... but it has lots of stipulations. When he stops in at the local coffee shop he can't keep his eyes off the beautiful barista. She has no idea who he is and teases him about being a slacker at his job. He finds his amusing as he owns his own successful company. They each hold secrets that they will either overcome or be torn apart.
I received an early copy courtesy of Grey's Promotion.

✨the good ✨
After reading Callen and Morgan’s story earlier this year, I couldn’t wait to read more about the characters from Chatley Bay.
Holden is in town to attend the funeral of his aunt, and after a trip to the local coffee shop, he comes across Raine, who’s guard he tries to bring down with the cheesiest ice breaker ever (absolutely loved him for this though).
The connection between Holden and Raine was incredible, and I loved how stubborn Raine was, constantly giving Holden a run for his money. Think he needed someone who was going to keep him on his toes, and that she did. One of the other things I loved most about this story was Raine’s relationship with her brother, Kaleb. Despite the awful circumstances, she always set aside time with him and was working as hard as she could to provide a better life for him. This right here is what makes her incredible heroine, a big heart and unending determination.
This was a quick, enjoyable read and I was completely swept up by Holden and Raine’s story. Hoping there’s another book in the series, Ethan’s story maybe?
✨ the bad ✨
Nothing.
✨overall thoughts: very steamy but very sweet, couldn’t put this book down ✨ 3rd act break up? Yes ✨ heat level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ ✨ star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Holden and Raine's story and it's an sweet emotional and heartwarming one!
Holden has worked his backside off to get his business up and going and he has gone beyond his expectations. He lives 2000odd miles away from his hometown but is brought back when his aunt dies - have to say, I'd have loved to know her! She's a sweet, sneaky and highly intelligent woman and knew exactly what Holden needed....
Then we have Raine, the barista is quick-witted, determined, beautiful, sweet, hardworking and highly independent and there is such a pull between the two when they meet - it will make your heart smile 🥰 but she's getting it tough and there's a lot at stake so she's not prepared for the feelings that come.
Secrets can tear people and couples apart - and Raine has some. Holden can help but will she let him?!
I wanted to both scream at her to ask for help but I also commend her for not giving up. I really liked the characters, including Kaleb, he's in a sad situation but he's determined - love it.
A good read, run, flirty, hot and also emotional, I could easily read more on these people!
*I voluntarily received an arc and this is my honest review.
This is an emotionally gripping tale that had me hooked from the very start. Raine and Holden's story is one that tugs at the heartstrings, and I couldn't help but become fully invested in their journey.
Raine's character is portrayed as someone who has faced the harsh realities of life, and her unwavering dedication to improving her brother's life is both commendable and heart-wrenching. Her determination to work tirelessly in order to secure a better future for her family adds a layer of depth to her character that is both relatable and admirable.
Holden's introduction into Raine's life is like a breath of fresh air. His character is a refreshing change from the typical male protagonists in romance novels. The connection between Raine and Holden is palpable and incredibly endearing. Their witty banter is not only entertaining but also highlights the genuine chemistry that sparks between them.
What sets this book apart is its ability to seamlessly blend moments of lighthearted banter with deeper emotional themes. The playful exchanges between Raine and Holden had me giggling and, at the same time, served as a testament to their undeniable connection. It's clear that they're meant to be together.
I loved this book from start to finish. Raine was such a hard headed independent girl who hit some hard times. She didn’t take hand outs from anyone, went above and beyond for herself and her brother which I found admirable. Holden was sexy, flirty, hard working and fully obsessed with Raine. His aunt was so clever by leaving behind the house for Holden, she knew it was time for him to settle down😂. Having only cared about work for the past few years, it was brilliant to see Holden getting flustered by his intense feelings for Raine which lead to him not caring about work. The slow burn in this book had me hooked in the first few pages, with their easy flowing witty banter that turned into foreplay was fantastic. I also found myself swooning over the things that Holden did & said in this book. How could you not fall in love with this man?…. Raine’s relationship with her brother was lovely and it made it clear as to why she made the sacrifices she did. Now the spice was sizzling, it felt like sparks flying once they started tearing each other’s clothes off & I was totally here for it! 🥵😮💨
This is my first read from this author but definitely not my last, I’m so pleased I found a hidden gem whilst scrolling through my social media 😄
"Find My Way Home" lives up to its title. This book is heartwarming and beautifully encapsulates the magic of opposites-attracting when their world collides. TC masterfully combines humour, emotions, and unforgettable characters to create a story that's impossible to put down. The spice in this book is scorching, my Kindle was overheating 🥵
We are introduced to Holden and Raine, and they are the kind of characters that you instantly fall in love with. Holden's charm and charisma are magnetic from the moment he's introduced, while Raine's fierce independence and determination make her a standout heroine. It's easy to root for these two as their lives intertwine. Raine's character, in particular, is a testament to resilience and unwavering determination. Her journey, marked by hardship and the struggle for custody of her brother, is portrayed with authenticity and heart.
The witty banter between Raine and Holden is not only entertaining but also endearing. Their playful exchanges had me giggling showcasing the chemistry that crackles between them. However, this book is more than just lighthearted banter; it delves into moments of heartbreak and emotional depth that add layers to the story.
"Find My Way Home" is a must-read for fans of small-town or billionaire romance. Matson has crafted a beautiful love story that skillfully balances the line between heartwarming and emotionally charged, making it a top recommendation for anyone seeking a memorable and captivating read.
This is the second book in the series but a standalone and a great read! I read it in one day because it just flows so perfectly that I could not get enough. Holden is home for his aunt's funeral and visits the local coffee shop to get some work done. There he meets Raine, a breath of fresh air, compare to other girls. Raine knows nothing about him and just tells it like it is. Her life hasn't been an easy road but right now her concern is saving money to get her brother out of the group home and time is running out. She's a hard worker who will not let anyone help her. She does not need any distractions. When she finds out Holden lives in Colorado she knows not much can come of them, so one date, some fun won't hurt when he's back in town for his aunt's will reading. Boy did Holden's aunt have a plan. Between the will and Raine, Holden finds himself heading home to Florida more often. I loved watching these two grow into a beautiful relationship. It's a beautiful story of family, friends, love, all while reminding you to stop and smell the flowers!!!
This is book two in the series but it can certainly be read and loved as a a stand-alone. This is Raine and Holden’s journey and from the moment I picked this book up I was drawn in to their emotional story. Holden is back to the small quaint town he once called home for his aunts funeral. He is now a very successful businessman and needing to get some work done he hits the local coffee shop and that’s where he meets Raine. What follows is an emotional journey as this woman who tells it as it is takes over his dreams. Raine hasn’t had an easy life and all her hours are spent working so she can save enough money to get her brother out of a group home. She doesn’t need a man or relationship in her life but we all know we can’t control our feelings. So what does the future hold for Raine and Holden, one click this gem to find out. This is a beautifully written love story about family and friendships, it has wonderful characters and it’s an emotional and entertaining journey. Looking forward to reading more from this very talented author.
Raine is homeless living out of her car, trying to make money for a place to live so she can get her brother back, but things are not working out and they are harder than what she thought. When a chance meeting with a man changes everything. Holden owns his own company, has money, and hasn't been home, but a few times in years. When he stops to get coffee his life gets an unexpected jolt. From their first meeting there is a spark, but they both don't think anything can come from it. After one date the sparks fly and than they can't stop what is coming. With her holding something's back and him have to fly back to Colorado will they get to say how they really feel? Will she open up to him and tell him the truth about her situation? How will he take the truth when he finds out? This book was an emotional, sweet, heartbreaking read. It pulled me in and kept me glued to my Kindle and I didn't want it to end. This gives you everything and a few twists along the way. I do can't wait for the next.
I'm so glad that I found TC Matson's books last year... I think it was at least. Because her books have a perfect amount of everything combined.
Like this one, Holden and Raine's story is angsty yet also has something I would smile for. Their relationship is a slow burn one but with Holden having his whole attention for Raine, I feel like it's an insta-love too. A situation with Raine's family breaks my heart but Holden makes it heartfelt and it warms my heart. Holden is so sweet and patient with Raine but their chemistry is sizzle and it keeps hotter and hotter when thye finally give in to their lust.
I like Raine. She is smart and strong after everything she has been through. And I like Holden. He is sweet and good for Raine. She deserves to be loved and Holden is perfect for her.
To tell you the truth, when I read the blurb about this book I think it would be a second chance trope but turn out, it is not. I have to say an insta-love isn't one of my favorite but TC Matson writes this book so good that I forget about it and keep reading through the end.
This was such an emotional book. Raine is down on her luck but she is still so positive. She works in a coffee shop and is trying to save money so that she can get her younger brother out of the group home. She meets Holden who is just the opposite. He is rich and successful. They become friends and eventually lovers. Raine does not tell Holden that she is homeless. She really doesn’t share much about herself at all.
Holden falls in love with Raine but things get rocky when he learns the truth. He is hurt and he wants to help her but she is so reluctant. She doesn’t want to appear to be using him. She has to come to terms with the fact that when you love someone, you take care of each other. You are there for that person through good and bad times. Holden and Raine eventually communicate and get on the same page. I loved seeing him learn to enjoy life outside of work and her getting someone to lean on. This was a great book and so worth the wait.
Holden and Raine are the epitome of opposites attract, the rich workaholic and the struggling one. Raine will do anything for her brother, Kaleb, except ask for help. So while it’s absolutely an admirable quality, it’s a sticky quality that I’m still not sure if I admire or not. Then again, Holden has missed out on so much with his family because of his company, so these two share that stubbornness in spades! But I also admired them both so much, and their chemistry, from the start, was snappy and fun. And while long distance relationships aren’t usually a good thing while starting out, it worked for both the storyline as well as Holden and Raine as characters. The absence made the walls fall down, for them both. So an overall 4.5 stars for Find My Way Home. I loved the banter, the great cast of supporting characters and the story itself. Loving this series and the author…I’ll be back for more!
4.5 Stars This is the second book in the series and just as good as the first. This book brings out all the emotions. The feels and heart in this one is truly my favorite part of this book. My heart went out to Raine. Life is kicking her down, but she keeps getting back up. I give her so much credit for her strength. The day Holden comes to the coffee shop she works at is the start of something so beautiful. Holden may be a workaholic, but he has such a big heart which you will see a lot of in this book. This book is so hard to put down. Holden and Raine had me gobbling up the pages. This book delivers on the feels, but it also delivers on the humor as well. Get ready for these characters to pull you into their journey and not let you go. I was sad to see this one end. Holden and Raine are going to stick with the reader awhile after you finish. The last few chapters left me with a huge smile on my face and my heart happy sighing all over the place.
Holden doesn’t return home to Chatley Bay very often but when he is there he must admit, he loves spending time with his family and friends as much as he can. His most recent visit is not under the best circumstances but a certain barista he crosses paths with brings a smile to his face. Raine is funny, sarcastic and makes Holden’s days working at the coffee shop more enjoyable than he could imagine. Raine has a complicated life, she doesn’t have many friends and spends her days working as much as she can so she can achieve the most important goal of her life, gaining custody of her brother. Holden is wonderful distraction for her and that is all he is ever meant to be, but as readers know, love has a way of sneaking up on characters when they least expect it. A witty, sweet, sexy and lovable story that will have readers wishing for more!
This story was definitely worth the wait. A story that is overflowing with emotion, heartbreak, guilt and passion. Holden is the wealthy business man and Raine is the young woman working her backside off to fix what is left of her family. Raine has determination and strength by the bucket loads, however this also comes with a vulnerability that she does not like to show. Two people that were destined to be together must fight against the hurdles that stand in their way, ones that they have put in their themselves. This storyline is filled with witty banter, cheeky moments and so much love. It also has heart wrenching moments that will steal your breath. Holden and Raine along with her brother Kaleb will own your heart and soul with such ease. My only negative to this book was that it came to an end.
Bring yourself home with this amazing five-star read. This is number two in the worth the wait series, and they each add another layer to the story, but you can easily read this as stand-alone. My heart was breaking for Raine, she really was trying her hardest to get on and get life moving for her brother. I loved how head-strong Raine was, she just made my heart smile with her strength of self, I was glad that I could see myself in part of her, If only it was more when I needed it. Holden was just the sweetest, his humour when he is talking about the boss, just made me smile. I would love a coffee with this pair, just to watch the palpable chemistry they have. This is just a simply sublime story and one you wont want to miss.
I thought this author had knocked it out of the ballpark with the first book in the Worth the Wait series, but T C Matson proved me wrong as she delivered up an emotionally captivating read, there are times when my heart broke for the delightfully wonderful Raine all I wanted was the ability to reach into Find my Way Home and give her a big hug, that is the strength and depth of this author writing skills, workaholic Holden proved to be the perfect swoon worthy book boyfriend who I feel in love with instantly, the breathtaking care he showed to Raine was spot on, the chemistry perfect, wrapped in a storyline that will keep you in the palm of its hands to the fabulous HEA, but there are a few bumps in the road but nothing Holden can’t deal with.
