Kami and Jordan are in their freshman year at Amani University, the only HBCU on the west coast. The two had an initial attraction during freshman orientation but hadn't interacted since. On Christmas day, a serendipitous encounter at Starbucks rekindles their connection. Their story unfolds like a Hallmark movie, as fate and faith bring them together, creating cherished holiday traditions for generations to come.
A wholesome, cute Christmas story. Two college students find themselves alone on Christmas day, not realizing that it was orchestrated by God to bring them together. It was short and sweet and I appreciated that sweet epilogue.
This was just a bundle of sweetness and cuteness. Two college students left alone on Christmas day made their own Christmas Magic. It was filled with Christmas and a nice dose of Jesus…swoon 🥰
This was a cute Black romance that takes place during the holiday season. My only issue that it was a bit too religious for me, but that’s just a personal preference.
If you're into clean romance check out Christmas at Starbucks. It's like reading a Hallmark movie. Set at a fictional HBCU, two college students find themselves at Starbucks on Christmas and the rest is holiday magic. All the feels 🎅🏿❤️
short, sweet, & to the point. good Christmas read about how God places you just where you’re supposed to be.
Kami & Jordan meet an freshman orientation at college and have a mutual attraction to one another. Due to their circumstances, they are united on Christmas and their love story begins.
I didn’t like how the epilogue did that time jump though, it went a little fast but overall still a good cozy book. Reminds me of a hallmark or lifetime Christmas movie.
Reading this book on Christmas Eve gave me all of the Christmas feelings. Even though this book was short, I enjoyed the characters. Jordan and Kami were so cute. I loved that they both had Christian values. The ending was really cute.
Absolutely beautiful story. I smiled the entire time I read it. I was hooked at the word STARBUCKS, but the incorporation of black love and the idea of a HBCU sold me. Excellent read.
Kami is a freshman at Amani University, an HBCU in Washington. She meets Jordan at freshmen orientation and is immediately attracted to him. Little does she know Jordan likes her too but neither of them have the courage to admit their feelings. When cancelled Christmas plans cause them both to stay on campus for the holidays, they end up running into each other at Starbucks and having a conversation that changes their lives forever.
This was a short and sweet read about college love. I loved the inclusion of HBCU culture. The interaction between Kami and Jordan at Starbucks was adorable. Everything aligned perfectly for them to meet and finally admit how they felt. The time jump in the epilogue was shocking initially but it ended up being a super sweet conclusion to a warm holiday romance. ♥️☕️🎄
You know when someone says “the book was like a warm hug”…. Well this was the epitome of exactly that. There were Christian elements to the story but they weren’t shoved down your throat…so even non religious people can enjoy the story. This was just a cute story of soulmates bonding over Christmas break…and I ate it up!!!!!!!!!! Mariah Carey already said it’s tiiiiiiiiime! So go pick this up… it’s literally the season!
I absolutely LOVED this story!! This novella is so fun and cute! I adored it from the author’s note, a person who loves Jesus, Christmas movies and Mariah Carey is after my own heart! Christmas At Starbucks was both funny and heartfelt and the romance was super sweet and just makes you want to smile! I look forward to reading more from this author. 5 stars! 🎄❤️☕
It was a bit repetitive in the beginning. I think more time with the mains and less time with them on the phone with the mommas would have been nice. But the interactions at the dinner were so cute.
What a beautiful Christian Romance novella. I absolutely loved Jordan and of course I love it when I come across a character who shares my name, so I was instantly enamored with his love interest, Kami.
Although this novella is super short it is well written and focuses on prayer, faith and family. This little story is small but mighty. The author adds just the right amount of humor and heartwarming moments to keep the plot fresh while leading to a full circle and satisfying ending.
Christmas at Starbucks was such a syrupy sweet romance! Kami and Jordan, two HBCU students, are feeling down spending their first Christmas without family. This novelette demonstrates how God’s plan is more than we can ever imagine. And the epilogue…pure perfection!
I loved this sweet Christmas love treat. Kami and Jordan's story is so adorable and those prayers almost shifted me. I love a good story mixed with God and faith!
Super cute novelette about two college students who have a nice meetup at Starbucks. Both the MC and FMC were likable. I wanted to see more boldness from the MC, yet things worked out, making for a nice ending.
Ok this was absolutely beautiful!!!!! I love Starbucks so the title captured me. Every Christmas I go to Starbucks with my mom so this was close to my heart.
This 37 page holiday short was about two college students that find themselves alone on Christmas that fell in love. It was definitely a meant to be type of story. It was a total of sweetness, love and warmth. I love the prayer part and giving God his grace.
What is Christmas without giving thanks to the man above.
