Grief, Grace & Gratitude: How One Night Gave Me a Second Chance

Rate this book
When Megan O’Donnell Clements survived the mass shooting on October 1, 2017 that left 58 people dead and over 800 more injured, she found herself falling quickly down a dark hole of sadness and grief. She struggled to find a reason why she had survived when so many others had not, and finding new purpose and meaning in life felt like an impossible task. A life that had once been so full of joy- and music- now felt quiet and lonely.

Grief, Grace & Gratitude follows the rollercoaster ride of emotions as she fought through the fear and panic and learned to embrace life again. Through the ups and downs of the healing process, she found a path forward with the help of mindfulness and the Gratitude First mindset, and rebuilt a life full of hope, light and love.

One night, truly, gave her a second chance at getting life right.

Incredible story

Well written, heart breaking and uplifting. The courage to push beyond such devastation and rebuild one’s self is truly a gift. Reaching out to support others a selfless act and commendable.
