Took this book home to Scotland with me and saved it for my October spooky TBR list. It did not disappoint. It’s a while since I’ve read spooky short stories, and these have mostly been older stories. I loved this collection. A real range, and left me feeling very unsettled! Loved spotting the black cats throughout 🐈‍⬛

Overall, not bad stories, authors are very talented and creative.

However, the stories were like unfinished soup. Not bad, but missing something, a key ingredient, like carrots or salt.

Good, but not the best.

3.5 I didn't end up reading every single story but there were quite a few that I enjoyed and that had good character work and engaging plot. Fun idea too!
