Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.
My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.
Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

This story contains characters from a similar series by this same author and is also entitled "No Secrets"...it's a bit confusing, but if you are a "must always be read in order" phonetic, it will drive you completely nuts! I LOVE Nora Phoenix's books...every last one of them, and I am already a bit nuts, so it doesn't bother me.
The main characters in this story, along with Wander's entire security team that all co-exist together in a house owned by the local BDSM club owner...are Roman Dwyer, who is Wander's brother and a Boston District Attorney, and sweet little Caleb, a member of Wander's security team and an absolute genius when it comes to computers.
This story also provides a really great example of Nora Phoenix’s ability to tell a fantastic story and create an engaging plot that makes you care about the characters. Nora Phoenix is also extremely talented at bringing in characters from the previous books and as I have already pointed out, even from other series. This is actually a continuation of the "No Regrets" series. If you haven't read the rest of this series or if you are a "newbie", you may be going to wonder how Wander and his team have ended up where they are and especially about their relationships, not just with their partners but with the entire team. If you don’t care about everyone’s back story and how it all interrelates then most, including this one, can be read as a standalone. This book also has cameos from Conner & Miller, characters from the "No Shame" series.
I don't usually include blurbs from the book but the blurb from this one did a so much better job of describing the story line than I could. This story is graphic...with a capital "G", and I know that this genre is not for everyone, but if you are still reading this or if you already enjoy this genre...Nora Phoenix will deliver in spades.

Can be read as a standalone!
I enjoyed this way more than book 2! I think the flow was better and the case was more engaging!
Caleb and Rowan were great together, loved seeing Rowan get out of his shell and Caleb guiding him haha! And I love me a tech nerd and Caleb was that!
I hope there are more books in this series!

After the not so pleasant start I had with NP's books I get two 5✨️ books in a row? WOW. Yes, please and also thank you.
No secrets has been... pfiu. I have no words. Seriously, I don't know how to describe how much I love this book. How much I love Caleb and Rowan.
While this book is set to be k!nky and full of spice like the others in the series, the plot in this one was also so good. The background story was intriguing and it left me guessing and on the edge of my seat.
Rowan and Caleb don't meet in the best of circumstances, but the connection they have is instantaneous. It is not insta-love, but it is insta-lust. The lust was there from the first moment they laid eyes on each other, but the love? The love sneaked up on them. It came so naturally and it was so nice to see them fall in love.
This is definitely the best book in the series, but please tell me it is not the last. We still have characters in the DS firm that need to tell us their story and I need Jesse's story the most. I need to know what is going on and why is everyone there. I need more.
I loved this book, absolutely loved it. Rowan and Caleb are so perfect for each other and you can tell that by reading their story. I don't feel like anything was missing... like something was too much or not enough. It was the right balance between spice, romance and plot.
Well done, well done. I hope I'll find more books written by Nora that I will love.

Roman et Caleb avec un Culomètre à 🥵
Je suis toujours aussi satisfaite de commencer une romance écrite par Nora Phoenix et ce tome se classe facilement au niveau du tome préféré de cette série !
Menacé à cause de son travail, Roman se réfugie dans la maison de son frère et de ses hommes qui seront là pour le protéger et l'aider à finir ce qu'il a commencé. Pour l'aider, son frère lui propose Caleb pour l'aider à se détendre en sa qualité de soumis.
Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas lu de la romance BDSM et ça m'avait manqué ! Après avoir pleuré toutes les larmes de mon corps avec le premier tome et eu un coup de chaud avec le deuxième, ce troisième tome nous propose quelque chose de plus profond tout en étant caliente.
Roman, en tant que procureur, essaye de faire tomber un gros ponte politique depuis plus d'un an, mais les menaces qui pèsent sont vraiment trop lourdes et trop dangereuses, surtout que la corruption qui règne ne lui permet pas d'avoir le soutien de sa hiérarchie. Une aubaine que son frère est une agence de protection privée et qui puisse l'aider à le protéger. Et là première chose qu'il fera, sera de se détendre avec un pipe offerte par l'un de ses hommes, Caleb, pro en informatique et soumis.
Là où les autres tomes montraient des Dom expérimentés, ici, c'est Caleb qui sera le soumis expérimenté et qui aidera Roman a faire sortir le Dom qui sommeille en lui et qui ne veut qu'être libéré. Sauf que Roman ne peut pas se le permettre avec son travail.
Tout de suite, on ressent la folle alchimie entre les deux protagonistes, ils se veulent, on besoin l'un de l'autre et pour une bonne raison. C'est assez inattendu de voir un soumis expérimenté qui aide un homme à devenir Dom. L'autrice arrive à mélanger avec brio le côté enquête avec le côté romance BDSM et on apprécie.
Les personnages sont aussi intéressants et on apprend très vite à les apprécier !
Bref, encore une réussite pour cette actrice que j'adore et j'ai hâte de lire le prochain !

Nora Phoenix is great at writing suspense, and in combination with these intriguing characters, she had me totally hooked with this story! No Secrets was a suspenseful, kinky and sweet romance, and I loved being back with Wander and his little group of men.
Roman was a little defeated when showing up at Jesse’s house, and with death threats and a price on his head, he quickly became the next case for Wander’s team. When Wander suggested that Roman use Caleb as a way to relax, Roman was hesitant at first, but with the attraction and chemistry between them it wasn’t long before he gave in. The tension and attraction between them was intense and I loved how their dynamic slowly developed.
I adored Caleb and how open he was about everything, and it was great to see how well they communicated and shared things with each other. Caleb’s submission was beautiful, and it was no wonder that Roman wanted to give Caleb whatever he needed. I also loved seeing Roman discover new parts of himself and explore them together with Caleb. They were so sweet together, and made my heart feel all happy and swoony!
I thoroughly enjoyed No Secrets; the suspense, the dynamic between Caleb and Roman, the found family... It was a fantastic read and I didn’t want to put the book down until I knew that everything would be OK. I’m really happy that Roman got his own story, as I’ve been curious about him since he first appeared in the No Shame series. I definitely recommend checking out both series, even if No Secrets could be read by itself as well.

April 21, 2024Caleb gets his HEA! I've been intrigued by his character since he appeared in the previous No Regrets books and I wanted to see just what kind of Dom was going to be the right fit for him and Nora's portrayal of Roman was everything I could have wanted for him...
I love the grumpy/sunshine nature of their relationship and also the way Roman is willing to step up and learn what being Caleb's Dom really means. I also love the lengths both men will go for each other.... kinky, steamy and sweet! Add in a wicked suspense plot and you have a memorable story and a fabulous addition to the series!

No Secrets by Nora Phoenix is the 3rd book in her No Regrets series. The one thing that I always love about Ms. Phoenix’s books is that you get not only an amazing love story but the plot also plays an equally important part and this one doesn’t disappoint. Roman Dwyer is a district attorney in Boston and has been looking into Senator Douglas Whitman as he knows there is a long line of corruption in his dealings. He is very powerful and has many people on his side, including the police, members of the FBI, and even members of the Mob who can take care of business in nefarious ways. He knows what Roman is doing and is subtly sending threats, both over the internet and going into his house, as well as playing mind games with him. Roman has come to the end of his rope and contacts his brother, Wander, who runs a security business out of New York. When he tells him what is going on he convinces him to leave Boston and stay with him so he can be provided with protection. When he goes there he feels a sense of relief because he knows he will be safe, especially after he meets Wander’s team. One of the team members is Caleb Lingle their computer and cybersecurity expert. He is a whiz at this job and can successfully infiltrate almost any system given enough time. Roman’s group of men were quite kinky with doms and subs galore and Caleb was a trained sub who craved domination. While others in the group had paired up, he hadn’t found anyone for himself. Then Roman arrived. He was not a dom like his brother, but when Caleb was offered to him for some stress relief, he fought it because he was so much younger than him, but then gave in. Both of them were attracted to each other and Caleb’s actions lit something in Roman that he didn’t know was there and made him want to explore being a dom, but only with him. Their attraction only grows with the time they spend together but the investigation into Senator Whitman is always there and the threat is growing with the more they dig into his dealings and what they find out. When Caleb goes undercover at the Senator’s lawyer’s office they both realize how much they miss each other during the week and their reunions are very steamy but also caring and they fall in love. Then something horrible happens to Caleb that pulls the whole team into action and when they find him they tell everyone they love each other and that they are going to be together. Ms. Phoenix is one of my favorite authors and her stories keep you wanting to keep reading to see what will happen next. There is not only suspense in this one, but also a kinky love story that grows with time. Roman is so beat down and scared when he goes to stay with his brother and Wander is so caring and willing to do anything to help him. Caleb is sweet, smart, and a perfect sub and knows what he wants and that Roman can give it to him. The team is behind them all the way and are there to help solve problems in the case as well as work with them and add some snarky humor. The story has a happy ending when Roman and Caleb finally admit they love each other and want to be together, Roman decides to train to be a dom, and Senator Whitman gets what is coming to him. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like love stories with some kink involved, a suspenseful plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and love that blossoms between two men who realize they can’t live without each other.

This is another highly enjoyable book in the No Secrets series. This series, centered on the activities of a high-end private security agency, blends danger, intrigue, passion, and a shared D/s lifestyle. In this book, Roman is a Boston DA who has been investigating a corrupt senator. The man has his criminal tentacles everywhere, causing Roman to have witnesses recant their statements and roadblocks every step of the way. When serious threats dog Roman's every step, he turns to his brother Wander (Bk 1) for protection and assistance.
When at the agency's remote, fortress-like estate, Roman is introduced to Caleb, a sub and computer security expert who we have met before. What starts out at an intent at vanilla play quickly has Roman re-evaluating everything that he thought he knew about himself. Caleb is an exquisite and natural submissive. Although Roman has know he was bi, he hadn't acted on it in years due to his previous marriage with his ex-wife and work expectations. Now, free to explore in the privacy of the estate, Roman begins to see what Caleb had sensed all along - that Roman's dominant nature in his life and work also translates to the D/s lifestyle.

This book rubbed me the wrong way. Yes, it was entertaining. But the story was very similar to the previous two and without the sweetness that was in the other two.
And the excessive violence bugged me also. I already expected it to end on a bad note, because that happened in the others too. But not that it was so bad.
I also think I don't like this dynamic of D/s that much. It felt off in this book, forced in a way. Not as natural as in the other books.
What I also thought was missing was closure for Caleb. He also had a bad experience in his life that made him a certain way, but that never came back in the end. It was more about healing his body than the other parts.
And Roman was just not that interesting in my opinion.
Last thing was that I didn't get the timeline. This was about a year after the last part of No Shame when you follow the other stories. Roman's wife left him when he became DA after the previous one was murdered (about 2 years before in No Shame). But he was divorced for 5 years.
Ok, that might be too detail oriented for a book of this calibur, but still. Two stars it is.
And the excessive violence bugged me also. I already expected it to end on a bad note, because that happened in the others too. But not that it was so bad.
I also think I don't like this dynamic of D/s that much. It felt off in this book, forced in a way. Not as natural as in the other books.
What I also thought was missing was closure for Caleb. He also had a bad experience in his life that made him a certain way, but that never came back in the end. It was more about healing his body than the other parts.
And Roman was just not that interesting in my opinion.

Fantastic romance and mystery. I was hooked from the beginning, a DA being targeted by powerful people trying to stop his investigation.
So he takes refuge with his brother and his very kinky security team. Needless to say, Roman is stressed. Enter Caleb. A Sub who is very good at stress relief!
Roman isn’t out, and he’s not a Dom. But this story is full of self-discovery and figuring out what’s most important in life.
So as they fight to figure out who’s after Roman, these two spend a lot of time together. Time that is spent getting to know each other, and exploring their chemistry. Which was all kinds of hot and heartwarming.

Roman and Caleb’s story is intensely emotional, smoking hot, entry-level kinky (d/s) and very fulfilling.
Phoenix once again takes us back into the world of Dwyer Security (run by Roman’s brother, Wander). I was on the edge of my seat and breathing shallowly for a good portion of the book as Phoenix twisted the tension higher and higher. Luckily, there were lots of sexy times to break up the intensity. Activity in Jesse’s mansion seems not to have stalled.
The author also rewards long-time readers with appearances from a couple characters from her No Shame series.
This team is so amazing and incredibly fun to “watch” work. But it is the multi-layered relationships Roman and Caleb are building that hold the heart of the story. Roman at the end of the book is not the same Roman at the beginning of the book and it’s a beautiful metamorphosis to watch. Caleb is so strong and competent and so powerful in his submission, he’s easy to love.

Roman's character - Wander's DA brother, under threat because of a high-level case he's working - is brilliant and a great new member of this kinky found family. I loved the suspense aspects of this book, as well as Roman working out what's really important to him: his career or justice and the chance to love.
And Caleb, who has been such an intriguing secondary character, really shines here. I love his mix of Sub-with-the-power in the bedroom and badass on the job.
Definitely best read as part of the series to understand the household dynamic.

While each book is it’s own case and romance, and it is possible to read books individually, in my opinion it’s better to read them in order. The characters are introduced in the first book, and this carries through each story.
One of the things I love about Phoenix’s writing is her talent with characterization. Once again, No Secrets showcases this. Roman and Caleb are so well drawn, and the contrast between them is lovely to see.

Another good book in the series. This can definitely be read as a standalone, but it does feature the men from the previous two books. It's also good to know that all the men work together and live together, and all are into kink and BDSM.
Caleb is a sub and loves to submit. Although Roman isn't a trained Dom, he has dominant tendencies and he and Caleb start a sexual relationship that soon becomes more. Roman is surprised by his feelings for Caleb. Roman is bi and has been divorced from his ex wife for many years. He has never allowed himself to have a relationship with a man because he felt it wouldn't have been acceptable in his line of work.
The investigation into the senator was well done. The story was very suspenseful, especially at the end. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Ce tome m’a beaucoup plus plu que le précédent. Le duo à l’honneur est charismatique et nous emporte dans son univers qui change des règles établies dans le BDSM. Dans cet opus, chacun reste avec sa moitié et j’ai apprécié ce retour à cette « normalité », même si les kink des uns et des autres sont toujours abordés librement.
Comme les précédents, ce tome est très sexy et fait bien monter la température.j’ai aimé l’aspect enquête policière qui rythme l’histoire et enrichi la relation Roman/Caleb.
De même, l’évolution de Roman est intéressante et l’accompagnement de Caleb dans la découverte de sa nature profonde est un point que j’ai aimé au fil des pages.
On retrouve avec plaisir le style de Nora.

Siento que es el libro más flojo de los tres pero no esta nada mal.
La historia entre Roman y Caleb está buena y se va dando poco a poco, pero no logró envolverme por completo, de hecho los últimos capítulos en dónde se dedicaba solo a ellos dos, los pasé de largo porque me aburrieron.
La trama en dónde está todo el quilombo del senador y todo el problema judicial y federal en el que estaba trabajando Roman estuvo bueno e interesante, pero que se hablara demasiado de ello se hizo demasiado para mí.
Tengo que admitir que no me encantó y si bien tenía algunas expectativas por Caleb, que ha aparecido en los últimos dos libros, no logró superar ninguna de ellas.
Ojalá que saquen más libros de los demás chicos que quedan como Jonah, Lowell, Jesse, David y el maestro Mark.

This is the third book in this series and was just phenomenal! I loved watching Roman realize who he really is deep down and loved watching him grow into himself! Caleb was such a sweetheart and absolutely a powerhouse and he really stole my heart! These two were so great together and for each other! This book had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down! Nora really knows how to write suspense with all the heat! We get to see some other favorite characters from the No Shame series also! Such a wonderfully written story that keeps you captivated and entertained! Very highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

I think this is my fave in the series so far. Caleb is just so precious, and the way Roman steps up to be what he needs, is amazing!

No Secrets
What I like about Nora Phoenix books is that each character, whether it be main characters or secondary characters has their own unique story to tell. These stories ends up being tantalizing and intriguing whilst keeping the readers on the edge of their seats. The story of Caleb and Roman is no exception.
Although Caleb is a submissive he shows his dominance when it comes to his job. I like that about him.
I know there's a lot on Roman's shoulder but at times I thought he needed more of a back bone.
All in all this was an excellent read. This is book 3 in the No Regrets series, and this far Nora is on point with her characters.

Sweet Caleb
I really love the kinky worlds that Nora is great at building. I adored sweet Caleb from the previous stories and was happy for him to finally get his HEA. Roman was a great MC and I loved his openness to all things new. It was great to see Connor and Miles agsin, even for just a little bit. Connor is a favorite of mine!
I loved that this was a quick read but I think it was quick just because I loved the mystery surrounding Roman's case and all the spicy times between him and Caleb. Really great story!

Working together leads to them also exploring a new dynamic as Roman finds himself becoming an unlikely Dom as he tries to fulfil Caleb’s needs. But, there is still the issue of Romans work to resolve and the mystery and danger surrounding this impacts the relationship that is building between him and Caleb.
This was a riveting story full of mystery, corrupt politicians, law enforcement, and a DA trying to do the right thing. The steam between the characters is fiery and the ending is very satisfying.
Definitely a good addition to the series.

Wonderful story about knowing exactly who you and what you need as well as finding out who you are and what will make you whole. Roman, Wander’s brother needs protection, he comes to town and Caleb helps him de-stress. Roman has so many unanswered questions about who he is after spending time with Caleb. Caleb helps him navigate. All the while, the team takes on Roman’s case and protects him from unseen threats. Really enjoyed this one. Loved seeing Conner and Miles, might be time for a reread of that series.

Third time's the charm, I guess. I love me a baby dom being mentored by an experienced sub, and this book had all the things I enjoy in an adventure-oriented romance.
The only flaw is in the ending and epilogue. I felt like it gave short shrift to recovering your enjoyment in BDSM after trauma. I think I have to go re-read Safeword by A.J. Rose after this to get sufficient satisfaction.

I really enjoyed getting to know about Roman and Caleb. Both of whom have been side characters in previous books . I also enjoyed seeing glimpses of characters not just from the No regrets series but also the No Shame series

I don't know how Nora Phoenix manages to write stories that are so compelling, but at the same time have so little conflict. It should be something I hate - but I think it's partly refreshing to see adults being adults and talking things out. I read this novel in about 24 hours, really enjoying the interactions between Roman and Caleb, and liking the little mystery as well. Another solid Nora Phoenix read.

Fantastic!! I went without sleep because I couldn't stop reading. I adored Caleb and grew to really like Roman and they were perfect together. When Caleb was kidnapped I was scared and reading about his ordeal was almost unbearable even though I knew they would find him. Loved his parents so much too. I was glad that the rotten senator was taken down and one can wish that in real life that truth and justice will prevail. Hope there will be more stories.

The sparks between these two fly all over the place, right from the start, and the action (all kinds) takes off from there & doesn't let ya rest. Nora brings characters, storylines, action/chase scenes & k1nky fun together in the best way. Roman & Caleb are great together, and I adored seeing some familiar faces from the original No Shame series! One of my favorite authors, one of my favorite series franchises, so to speak. I'm a definite fan
