The episode is getting longer and thus even more packed with action and more attempted murders at Margot. Lots of shootings, even attempts of burning in a fire of the house where she was.
But at least she shot back at the bad guys that helped Melanie escape the prison despite her wound. Still Melanie is not out, yet....

I received an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This story begins with Melanie in the hospital having just come out of a coma. Margot has finished visiting her and has left. There are two guards around Melania's room and the nurse for Melania brings them two cups of coffee that were drugged in order for Melanie to escape. During the escape, Melanie kills a detective who was waiting to question her again. Before he died, he also wounded Melanie who had a gunshot that was bleeding profusely. Melanie escape was also aided by two others who had stolen an ambulance.

The next day, Margor is at work when she is visiited by a U.S. Marshall who believes that she was involved with Melanie's escape. Later she receives a call from Mandy, a young girl she was friends with, asking for a ride. Upon arriving to pick Mandy up, she discovers that there were two other people there as well. While there, she became involved in a gunfight and one of the two wound up stabbing Mandy and escaping. When the police arrived, they wanted to arrest Margot for the death of the person she shot. Her Detective boyfriend arrived and took her into custody where he then released at the hospital where Mandy was taken. During her wait, another battle ensued where a U.S. Marshall was shot.

Once again Margot was arrested, but another Marshall was convinced of Margot's innocence and made a plan to use her as bait. He felt that Margot would be a target and that they could catch the person responsible for shooting the other Marshall and helping Melanie escape. Things did not work out well with this plan. Margot then got involved.

To learn what happened that blew up the plan, what role Margot played and what reason Melanie was still in the area, then you need to read this book. It is another winner for Nora Kane.

WOW! This third book in the series has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning. In this episode, Margo goes to see her psychopathic sister Melanie who had just awakened from a coma and is shackled to her hospital bed being guarded by two officers; once inside her room and one outside.
There is banter between the sisters and Margo knows that Melanie would kill her if she felt like it. After leaving the hospital, the two guards are passed out and a nurse releases Melanie and helps her to escape not after Melanie kills the officer who came there to interrogate her. When a federal agent barges into Margo's office and accuses her of helping her sister escape, she knows she just can't sit there, she has to help find her. Things get really tense when she goes to save Amy's daughter Mandy who was hiding out at her friend's house and finds Mr. and Mrs. Proctor there ready to kidnap Mandy. When Mr. Proctor pulls a gun on Margo, she shoots him and runs into the house after Mandy only to find her stabbed in the stomach by Mrs. Proctor who escapes from the house. Mandy will make it but now not only is she on her sister's radar, but Mrs. Proctor's as well who is a sharp shooter and tough marine. Shaw her boss and detective Radcliff want her to hide. But she doesn't and things get so intense, you are turning pages fervently to see what will happen to Margo and if Melanie is captured or does she escaped since she is injured seriously. There is so much to this story. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next. This series is amazing! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

ONE KILLER MOVE is the third installment in a five installment Season 6 of the Margo Harris Crime Thriller series by Nora Kane. This is another short, easy to read story in the series. Perfect for when you don't want a long story, great for airplanes, rainy afternoons, etc. Each installment is action packed, full of twists and turns, suspense making for a fast read.

Once again Margo is involved in a nasty murder investigation and it might end in her arrest or death. Margot's sister Melanie has  woken up from her coma and planned her  escape from the hospital. Melanie's escape leaves behind a dead cop and puts Margot back in the hands of law enforcement. It will take Radcliff and her few friends to save her from arrest by a federal marshal convinced she masterminded the entire escape. Trying to avoid arrest by the Local police, Marshalls and more, Margot is right where she was told not to go, right in the middle of the search for her sister. The question, does she want her sister Dead or Alive?

Short, sweet and fast paced. Perfect for 1-2 hour read. I did receive a copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving this review.- Waiting for book 4, "One Unseen Threat".

A thoroughly enjoyable continuation of stubborn PI Margot's confrontation with the illusive Boog's henchmen. The action starts of page one with extreme sibling rivalry and the same racy pace continues throughout the short novel as her confrontation with her sister and various gang members results in numerous scrapes, challenges with some law agencies and cooperation with others. Shootings, deaths and almost miraculous escapes from danger litter the story so, if you're looking for an all action novel that takes sibling relations to a new level, a disgraced doctor not to mention a psychopathic ex marine and more bullets flying than in an old style Wild West movie, this is the novel for you.
I received an ARC copy but the views are my own.

I really like Nora Kane's wit and her sharp, 'no nonsense' style of writing. She keeps one enthralled until the end and leaves you wanting more.

Margot is such a bad ass but she has a soft spot for an underdog that she believes has potential of being somebody good. Her only problem is that she can never stay out of trouble and is never very good at listening to others who have her well being at heart.

You'll love this book if you are looking for a fast, action packed story - I bet you'll get hooked on them and, like me, be waiting impatiently for the next in the series! Well done Nora Kane!

One Killer Move - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

This riveting action-led thriller sees Margot visit her psychopathic sister Melanie in a secure hospital room, where she's been in a coma under armed guard until very recently.
What happens soon after that visit ends leaves one man dead and Melanie herself badly wounded in the gun fight, before she's helped to escape...but why is Margot arrested?
Danger and death are everywhere and despite being advised to hide away, she's determined to see things to a conclusion.
Don't wait...get your hands on One Killer Move, a Margot Harris Mystery Series 6, Book 3, by Nora Kane, today - it's unputdownable!

Excellent Book !!!! This book is about two sisters that are in trouble with the law. One not as much as the other but still. Margot and Melanie are both always in trouble with the law and when Melanie wakes up from a coma and escapes the prison hospital against all odds. Melanie definitely had help escaping from the prison hospital and now the implications are that Margot helped her. Federal marshals are now breathing down Margot's neck wanting to find her sister. Great thriller with lots of twists and turns.

Once again Margot is the object of her sister Melanie's obscene need for revenge. The story was fast moving and bloody, but somehow unfulfilling. It felt like a lot of action was packed into too short a story and the end, while a surprising twist, was not truly satisfying. The author's characters are always well drawn with excellent, believable dialogue so it is well worth the read as we wait for the next chapter. I received this book as a member of an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Wow!! This book grabs you by the throat and doesn't let you come up until the final page. Margot is still dealing with her psycho sister and almost gets blamed for helping her escape from custody but clearer heads prevail and Margot ends up going to look for her sister herself. This book contains shootouts in the streets, the hospital, and a burning house but the story is hanging on a thread until the next installment.

This series gets better with each and every installment. Margot as always is awesome. Her sister still wants her dead. The plot is truly amazing, fast paced and straight to the point. The action is to die for. Will she survive another day to find out what happened to Melanie. I really enjoyed this book....could not put it down one bit.

Each book in this series gets better. The story line in this addition was full of action, and non-stop ‘what’s happening next’ moments. The characters are typical tough cops and PIs with a twist. The banter between them is what makes them so much fun and highlights exactly who they are. Quick read that leaves you wanting whatever comes next!

I received an arc of this book and voluntarily provided a review.

Margot is a Private Investigator, her sister Melanie is currently in the hospital, because she was stabbed repeatedly and beaten in prison. She is handcuffed to the bed, and has a guard in the room and outside her door. With the help of some friends, Melanie escapes from the hospital; but she ends up shooting a cop and she gets shot as well. Will Melanie recover and can Margot locate her? Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters.

Margot is a troubled adult. Seems like she just can't get away from her troubles, but maybe that is because they are out to get her. Clearly her sister is one, but who is everyone else after her? And why? Seems like the cops take a really dim view of her activities, maybe because people end up dead? In self defense, Margot is tough, but she has to be to survive.

The author allows us to tag along with Margot as her life twists and turns. You meet friends and enemies. She is very good at defending herself, but life is putting her off her game a bit. If you like action package mysteries, with a hint of sarcastic humor, a tough leading woman, let Margot take you for a read.

Exceptional story!

Another exceptional, hard hitting story by Nora Kane as Margot Harris continues to deliver her hard hitting investigations. Working outside the law, yet with the law, Margot faces evil and once again wins.

I read this book as part of an advance reader team and am providing my honest opinion.

Melanie is awake, and she is defintely not done. Being handcuffed to a hospital bed and weak from being in a coma is nothing for this sister. Great entry into the series with plenty of action. WHAT'S NEXT??? I'm on pins and needles here waiting to read the next installment.

Margo's psychotic sister Melanie has escaped from the hospital where she was being held following her near fatal beating in prison. Margo needs to track her down before she recovers and resumes her attempt to kill her.

Margot is always on the brink but she never falls over. Her witty sarcasm breaks the tension, but only for a moment, then we are tossed back into the divisive behavior of her manic sister. Does Margot want Melanie dead or alive? That is the puzzling question. Highly Recommended.

I think this one is better than the last entry in this series. Margot just can't catch a break. It seems that everyone is trying to kill her. With Shaw by her side, she may just make it to the next book. 😁
