This story is quite different from the usual sheikh stories I'm used to as a Harlequin Presents author, but I enjoyed the intrigue! Full disclosure: the author is a friend. But I still loved the exciting mystery and all the detail about the refinery. No, this is not a Presents. If you like the high drama and passion of a Presents sheikh, this sheikh is not quite the same. He's still an alpha male, but without that Presents edge. And the heroine, Elena, stands toe to toe with him. I like a strong heroine, and this one is for sure.
