Who will prevail in the catastrophic clash of magic, betrayal, and legacy? Can Julie, untested yet determined, steer Avalon away from the brink of despair?
A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.
My pets... I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.
What I'm working on... I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

This will be a short but sweet review. I so love this book series. It has every ingredient to be great book series for the ages.I can't wait for the next installment...
The date for Julie and Taylor's Wedding, is gradually getting nearer, but the war with Mordred's Cult is getting ever harder so, when Julie talks of holding the wedding back until a better time, her friends, and both Mothers, insist that it goes ahead.
But there's a big problem, of course, with Morgan now in the same position that Arthur had been in, for so long!
Julie, never a believer in giving up, when she could have one of her mad plans go ahead, is determined that one of her Besties is going to be there, if she has to find out just who did the deed, and force them to reverse the spell.
But then Julie discovers something terrible, that will change everything!
Once again, the book grabbed me from first page to last, and I enjoyed every second of the crazy ride that Julie keeps putting me through!
Oh, I so wish that I'd had a Bestie like Julie, growing up! Lol
I'm not wasting any time, and am going straight on to Book 14; Princess:, to find out what else Julie will get up to so, once I have, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about it!
Julie’s life has really changed since she received the letter that brought her to the paranormal world. Now she’s preparing for her wedding to Taylor, has discovered she’s a descendent of Arthur, is the long-lost daughter of Queen Esmerelda and has become the heir to the Eternal Throne. But of course, things can’t go easily. Between trying to get all the Lunar Fae to Tintagel, to create a spell that will cure Morgan, there are still troubles in the land. Mordred’s troops are still attacking, the queen of the Deep dragons is on Mordred’s side and is ready to call a war between dragons. And Rosa has brought her husband, Ernesto, to Avalon – he’s not sure of anything. Nothing is dull. This book has a great mixture of wedding plans and war plans. There is stuff happening all over the place. There is a lot of action, humour, surprises – both good and bad. It’s not quite as lovey-dovey between Julie and Taylor although you can still tell they are deeply in love. This is a quick, easy, enjoyable read. I’m thinking the next book will be just as good.
Wizards are breaking into museums, stealing Arthurian artifacts. Why? To free Mordred. They crafted an anti-ward knife that opens portals to the prison realm, and has let Mordred leave.
Turns out, he has been counseling the dragon queen, not Nimue. Scary, but at least the enemies are coming unmasked.
When Julie fights Mordred, she realizes his power comes from Sol, the bored lunar fae that was imprisoned in the sun, as Luna was imprisoned in the moon.
But, to save Morgan LeFay, and reshape her people, Julie and Arthur call all lunar fae out of hiding.
As always, I counted the days until this latest installment of Julie and Taylor's story. If you read the last book, no one was overly surprised by Julie's origins, anymore than Hat's. Though, other secret identities were a joyous surprise! Blessed reunions, terrifying discoveries, astonishing surprises, tragic losses, all served with a healthy does of snark and sass! Ms. Jagger and Mr. Anderle never disappoint!
Julie is looking forward to her wedding with Taylor, but then things get really bad. Mordred's forces are out to assassinate her now that they know she is the true princess and it's going to take Julie and all her friends to keep her alive. Another awesome book in this series and I could not put it down until I finished it. I cannot wait for the next book.
Love, Love, Love this entire world. It’s been an incredible journey through it all. The only drawback is the wait for the next book to come out. But future readers won’t have to worry about that. I hope they gobble it up like I did, and fall in love with this world.
Each book in this series is as great as the one before it!!!!
Congratulations to Renee Jagger and Michael Anderle for this intriguing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in their stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
The wonders of a royal wedding & the author describes it vividly. Of course, there are battles and betrayals, as well as valiant sacrifices along the way. The author does a great job with her descriptions and we experience all the many emotions of the day, good thing there's more coming in the next book.
Julie just can’t seem to catch a break, can she? As news leaks out about Julie’s true identity, things go from bad to worse with enemies coming out of the woodwork to snuff out any possibility of a Luna heir inheriting the throne. A lot of fun.
So their gods died does this create new gods? Seems the greatest magic actually is healing. Mom and Ernesto are now Julie's age! Did they give mordred the dark stone or was it a fake out?
This one includes some epic fights, parties, a few changes to the expected outcomes, and finally, the wedding (or at least the start of it) that's been discussed for a couple books now. A couple classic scenes in the fights. And mom-Rosie takes charge!
This just gets better, and yay for the ending. I am off to get the next 2 books thanks to the busy last few months she came out with more and omg wait to see what happens to Rosa and Ernesto. It was amazing
I wasn't sure if this book was just a segue to the next, boy oh boy was I wrong!!! Great storyline and emotional!!!! On to the next with Julie and Taylor!
