This was a book of short horror stories. There were sixteen short stories, and each was only a few pages long. Some of these stories were a spooky kind of scary, and some were an entertaining kind of scary, but with each story, there was an atmosphere, and the desired scares came along quite quickly. It didn't take too long to read all of these, so a book like this is a fairly good choice for a shortish Halloween read, or anytime you feel like some horror stories.

Sometimes, downloading random books just because they're free on Kindle is a good idea. Once again, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.
It's 3.5 stars because I think there was more to write in the short stories. It felt like they stopped just when it was getting good.
I found some of these a lot more entertaining than others. For some it seemed like the story ended right as it started to become interesting. However, this book is a little over 100 pages, so even the less enjoyable stories aren't much of a slog to get through. Overall, it's a fun read if you're looking for a quick horror collection.
I had some books with scary stories in them when I was younger and reading these really brought me back to the nights that I would try to freak my friends (and myself) out with them. It was just a really fun collection of some creepy and scary stories that I loved.

This collection of stories was mostly good. There were some with excellent potential but the endings went nowhere. The ones that were done right were done very well. I think the author is very talented and might try and rework some of the stories that didn't flow well and knock the endings out of the park, so to speak.
I definitely loved this book it is absolutely perfect to get you in the mood for spooky season. I loved how there was more then one story it was a perfect read for Halloween!.

Loved it was a fast read but the stories were well written. I love all of the stories but the last one was the best. I will be waiting for the next book that’s for sure
This was a quick read of a collection of 16 scary stories. A few of them were top notch and a couple of them were just average. It was a good way to pass a cold evening.
Loved all the stories in this volume. Each one was really good. I especially loved the ones that ended on a cliff hanger, like you can come up with your own ending, or leave room for a sequel.
I wanted to enjoy this collection, but it felt as if every story ended just as the opportunity for scares was starting. The story would be finding its rhythm, getting into the elements of genuine horror, and then it would be over. I struggled with the writing as well.
