Loved it

Deep down, I'm hoping for a book three, but if this is the end, then I'm left wondering how the city held up in time, plus knowing they were betrayed by a fellow city but all in all I loved storyline and characters they were outstanding, well on to the next book

As the sun rises on a new reign in Arcadia, shadows stir beneath the city and beyond the wall! In book two we are met with new faces and new challenges! As Louis tries to find his place and figure out what his role within the new Arcadia will be, he's struggling to see how he is important. As an outsider he is still new to the workings of the inner city, and he is still struggling to trust his new group of friends. We are still seeing the aftermath of the revolution, and the struggle to find the right direction with our new leader. Stirring below the city are people who spell trouble for August and the council, and bring warnings of what is to come from outside of the city's walls.
This was a fun - yet anxious - read for me. I felt for Louis and his friends, but was very wary the whole time. I *still* do not trust August, for no particular reason other than some of his choices are mirroring the past that he's trying to move Arcadia away from. He means well, but he may not be the best leader, so I'm curious as to where he will end up in the next book.
I won't spoil too much, but there were new characters in this book who really lend to the feeling of uncertainty. I did not see the end coming, so I am absolutely *stoked* for book three. I have so many theories and I can't wait to see what's next for Louis!
