Jarica is an American author. She prefers writing paranormal and fantasy books. When she isn't writing she is playing her xbox with her husband and fellow nerd. She has two crazy boys who make writing a challenge, but one she gladly accepts.
The Blood and Moonlight series is an incredibly bingeable Trilogy that will put you through all the feelings and has incredible steam, action, and characters. You should check it out!
Pack Forsaken:
James is just pumping out awesome stories! Pack Forsaken was a fantastic start to the series. I LOVE Vanya and her 3 guys. The storyline has me completely entranced and craving more. Plus there are some h-o-t steamy bits! I'll just be over here (im)patiently waiting for Pack Evaded!
Pack Evaded:
I was so excited to jump into the next book of this series! I started to fall for all of the characters (especially Vanya) from the very beginning and Pack Evaded only made me love them more. The steamy bits were absolutely delicious. The storyline is engrossing and has left me anxious for more. There is a battle coming and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Pack Reclaimed:
I knew going into Pack Reclaimed that I was gonna be sad seeing these characters' stories come to an end. Vanya and her mates have gone through so much to reach the end with this war. I've loved the relationship development, the steam, and all the action in between. The Blood and Moonlight series is yet another binge worthy series from James!
The complete "Blood and Moonlight" trilogy starts with "Pack Forsaken", and it starts with a punch! I really enjoyed this book, and it grabbed my attention from the start. Even though I love most of this author's work, her paranormal RH's always have that little extra that really pulls me into the story. There is action and danger from the start, with an fmc who's done with her pack and their ancient ways after losing the only person who still kept her there.
Wolf shifters were my first jump into urban fantasy years ago, and I always love going back to the trope. I love the "found family vibe" pack life often seems to have, the structure of a pack with all its complicated dynamics, the combination of human and wolf form, ... In "Blood and Moonlight", Vanya finds the perfect pack with some very nice male shifters in it. I really love Vanya's spirit, and how three men speak to it in very different ways...
This trilogy comes with some surprises, and even some tropes I didn't really expect from the start. There's plenty of action, spice and enough twists to keep the storyline floating. I truly loved it from start to finish!
I fell in love with Vanya and her strength in this one. Her sass and her backbone are made of steel, and her inability to back down will continue to serve her well. Life has dealt her a rough hand, but she continues to forge ahead and try to reclaim her life. When she lands in a new place, she never expects to find a tentative home or people she may be able to find peace with. Her life was maybe never meant for peace, though, as a new danger stalks her. The three amazing pack men that linger around her are slowly showing her they aren’t like the men she’s known before. Maybe she was truly meant to find this new home, but first she’s going to have to neutralize this new threat, which is proving more difficult than anyone could have imagined. As the Grave pack gets closer and closer, the stakes climb higher and tension ratchets up. Alliances will have to be made, but so will sacrifices.
Such an awesome series. I had only book 1 in my posession so I grabbed this omnibus when I saw it as book 1 I really enjoyed reading. This book just grabbed me and sucked me in reading it. I love the shifter stories so I thought I knew what I was getting but boy was I wrong. The found family thing always do me in and this one is done really well. Highly recommend this boxset!
This is the complete series of the Blood & Moonlight collection and features all three books in the series. It is a PNR, Why-choose Romance. This series is action packed and filled with plenty of smut! It is a Great Wolf Shifter series that I devoured. I was hooked from the start and Jarica really made this series the best! I look forward to reading what she has in store next for her readers!
Wonderful Action Packed Series!!! Loved this series. Vanya is amazing and I really enjoyed seeing her relationships with each of the men develop at their own pace. I especially loved how Holt and Torryn found their place. Such an exciting and action packed story with lots of delicious spice sprinkled throughout.
I loved this boxset so much. It was great rereading this series in one big book. Once again I got to fall in love with Vanya and her guy's. This boxset was action-packed , steamy and also swoony in parts. Amazing five star read that I would highly recommend.
Such a great take on fated mates! I loved the aspect of it not being instalove and everyone having to actually work with each other. I'm so glad that everything worked out in the end, and they got a Happily Ever After.
Overall I enjoyed this series, but it had more drama than a soap opera and a few plot holes - especially towards the end. (Nothing major, but things like clothes magically appearing when they had already been removed and such.)
