She's forbidden. My student. Someone I have to steer clear of. But I can't deny the attraction anymore. To hell with the world, I'll corrupt her. I'll corrupt her before she realizes what a bad idea this is. A forbidden teacher and college student sapphic romance.
2 stars. Every time I’m subjected to an on page M/F sex scene in a sapphic romance I reach for my phone to call the police because how fucking dare you. I hated that scene so much.
Other than that this was not really a romance as Maeve and Daphne only connect through sex. That’s it. There’s nothing emotional about their connection. No real conversations, they don’t even really know each other at all. The sex was hot don’t get me wrong but the relationship is nonexistent. The writing was good and I did like Daphne’s strained relationship with her mom and how that was handled. Other than that I don’t have much to say. I’d recommend it if you only want sex and nothing else but I’ve definitely read much better studentxteacher romances.
This is the first F&F book I’ve read and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I loved the building of their relationship and the spicy scenes were 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Forbidden student professor lesbian romance? Yes please!
I haven’t had the chance to read a lot of FF based books, but boy am I glad I picked up this one! I’m starting to think I need to go to university and see if I can find me a miss Whitman. Am I happily married to my husband? Yes😜 still thinking about it
I loved the story that unfolded around the spice, I loved the character progression and seeing how daph brought out the inner maeve. I loved the progression of Daphnes mum! I got a little gooey reading that, but maeves mum - no thankyou!
I would have loved a bit longer ending with some more details, and more spice never goes astray but I do love how it wrapped up - that ending had me smiling like an idiot!
This is only the second sapphic story I've gotten to in my TBR, but this story was absolutely beautiful! The way Daphne and Maeve can't stay away from each other, no matter the consequences of family or career. Their love for each other is something everyone wishes they could have.
They come from two very different backgrounds, and still in the end find a way to be happy with one another, even after a few bumps in the road.
Since Goodreads doesn't do half stars, I rate it a 4.5/5⭐️ 3/5🌶️
Ivy Lane has done it again! Another deliciously delightful read by this incredible author. I was immediately sucked into Maeve and Daphne's world, with a forbidden lust between these two characters.
Cannot wait to add this book to my bookshelf! Absolutely loved it!
Not a book that I would normally pick up but very well written. This is my first FF. The ending definitely had me doing little feet kicks with happy tears after some sad tears and sad parts. Spice was probably 3/5. All in all a great quick read! Well done!
I usually don't go for sapphic romances, but this one pulled me in from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down and finished it in a day! The dynamic between these two was *chefs kiss*. I will definitely be rereading!
wow I'm not sure where to start.. I was completely blown away with how much I enjoyed reading Daphne and Meave's forbidden romance. I honestly didn't know what to expect since I've never read anything by Ivy before but I can say she didn't disappoint. Meave have never been with a female before and Daphne being experienced and older I wasn't sure if their relationship would work but somehow they managed. I do wish the epilogue was longer or perhaps a second story with Parker and him finding a love interest and all of them becoming friends? (a girl can dream right) Job well done Ivy it was a great read.
2 stars just for the writing and spicy scenes! I loved reading the spicy scenes in this book, but the rest of the story just seemed there to make it a book. Where was there connection? They seemed they were only attracted to eachother physically, wanting to f*ck anytime they could. Then Daphne leaves her job to get away from Maeve just to come back and back to the same job? Why wouldn't she find a different uni to teach at then being in a "relationship" (if thats what you want to call this) with Maeve isn't so taboo and she won't be risking her career. And what was the point of Amanda? Also, that would be the last thing I'd "Need" after my grandfather passes away!?
A super spicy sapphic romance between a professor and a student turns vicious before they make things right in all the right ways. A silver-spoon brat and an already burned teacher find their desires unfold with each other, risking jobs, friends, and lives.
No connection, no meaningful conversations, no chemistry outside of the bedroom it was hard foe me to sympathise with the characters. It's a quick read and the spice is good but the story itself is lacking for my liking.
This was my first female on female book I've read. I really enjoyed it. I loved Daphne and Maeve and the relationship and passion they have, if you like spicy then you will love this book 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
