International multiple award-winning author Natli VanDerWerken loves dragons. She's got 30 of them that she collected from around the world while she served in the Navy as a meteorologist and anti-submarine warfare specialist.

Natli's series, The Dragon's Children, grew out of a tale she told to her children and grandchildren one Christmas Eve. The first book, Red Dragon's Keep, has won four awards, most recently as a finalist in the Best Book Awards. Her second book in the series, WindRunner, is waiting on contest results later this year.

Natli is a website designer, author, quilter, and Navy veteran. She raises and shows Shetland Sheepdogs. Her series is available wherever books are sold.
