This was a novel full of tender feelings, revenge, greed, grief, and violence. The plot is so fat that I was surprised when the story kept going. It could have been two books.
This was too much of an emotional roller coaster for me to love it but it is a good story with a positive ending. Also, some story arcs could have had more details to keep the plot smooth.
