Tidbits: An L-4 & L-4 AA Cookbook/History Book

Tidbits is both a history and cookbook about the Pershing Rifles (P/Rs) at L-4 (North Carolina State University) and the L-4 Alumni Association (L-4 AA) that supports them. The eBook serves as a tribute to L-4’s 70th anniversary as a student organization and as a fundraising effort for our scholarship fund.
Fundraising is a common and necessary activity in the life of a nonprofit organization. Raising money takes many forms. No matter the form used, all share in common the need for financial support. Describing the need is all that is required of a likeminded group, but I have always appreciated a recognition of contribution gift. This eBook gifts all Tidbit royalties to the Congleton-Etheridge Memorial Scholarship Fund managed and controlled by the L-4 AA.
The Congleton-Etheridge Memorial Scholarship was created to provide support to students initiated into the P/Rs at L-4. The P/Rs are generally, but not always, cadets/midshipmen of the Reserve Officers Training Corps. Many, but not all, enjoy the benefits of a government scholarship. For those in need of further financial assistance, the Congleton-Etheridge Memorial Scholarship was established by alumni to help defray costs relative to books, tuition, room, and board.
Raising money for those desiring a degree and are in pursuit of an officer’s commission in the military establishment or a leadership role in their communities as civilians are noble causes. Those receiving scholarships will never forget the gift of support in time of need.
All recipes were submitted by members of the L-4 AA or family members.

In 2018, he co-wrote the live-action web series, Ninjak vs. the Valiant Universe for Valiant Entertainment.

His latest project is Surviving Nuclear Attack, a paranoid sci-fi thriller, set to launch in 2019 as part of John Carpenter’s Tales of Science Fiction from Storm King Comics.
