My biggest problem with this story is it was a regurgitation of the first book in this series with changed names 🤷🏻♀️. So that’s a bit of a bummer.
But a decent smutty monster romance nonetheless. I’ll still keep this author on my radar because the smut is HOT.

Ngl, if a hot orc hockey player handed me a business card and invited me to an after party at his play club, I'll know I've died and gone to heaven.
Merk is a hot, hockey-playing, play cub owning orc lord who has been looking for his match. Nicole is overworked and overstressed and looking to have some fun. When she joins a friend at a hockey game she can't keep her eyes off the muscular player who commands her attention.
I love the Monsters' Sin Club series so much! The idea of a play club where magic can match you with your perfect k!nk partner for lots of fun times is just a dream. And the spice in this book was so hot! I love a quick, steamy read, and this book totally delivers!

Merk is DELICIOUS. A hockey playing lord orc who is MASSIVE (everywhere) and a partial club owner with our dear Vorn from book one, is on the hunt for his perfect match. Our voluptuous and sexy Nicole has an impact kink that human men can’t quite get it right. Her friend drags her along to an orc hockey game and Merk sets his sights on her. One night at the club wasn’t enough, Merk plans to keep Nicole for as long as she will let him. This was spicy, cute, fun and such a good read. I loved it even more than the first one and cannot wait to meet the rest of the orc lords. Rosemary, you continue to nail it.

Nicole is an overstressed and overworked junior ad executive at an advertising agency. She’s confident, sassy and spirited. Even more, I loved that she knew what she wanted and never hesitated to go after it. Nicole is a wonderful woman and I loved her so, so much!
And then, we have Merk - First Lord of Durahill, lead captain of the Manhattan Monsters hockey team, co-owner of Monsters’ Sin Club. Merk is one huge, strong, deliciously possessive, dominant, utterly charming and absolutely irresistible male. Even more, he’s caring, thoughtful and sweet. And he’s quite crafty, too. I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about this drop-dead gorgeous orc!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Nikole and Merk! Nikole loves impact play and is looking for someone to fulfill her desires and have fun with. And Merk is looking for a female to match his own kinks. I loved those two together! From the moment they met, their attraction was strong and their chemistry was fantastic. I loved their banters and teasing and that both gave as good as they got. And, even better, their kinks and desires matched so perfectly. I also couldn’t get enough of all the passionate moments they shared - they were off-the-charts hot! Spanking is just so much fun! And, of course, Merk provided the best and most thoughtful aftercare, too! ARC Review
I absolutely adored the first book so I was super excited to continue this series! This book brings us right back into the club with all of the familiar faces and places.
I really loved that the heroine Nicole is plus sized and described as such with 'a generous stomach', she's confident about it (can she teach me how?) and her orc Merk loves it! Merk is pretty much as delicious as Vorn, he's kind of dangerous and wolfish and very masculine but he's sort of gentlemanly too, offering his elbow to her often when they walk, he's very sweet later on when he really falls in love.
This story is partly a hockey romance, something I've never read and I did sort of skim the hockey descriptions, just finding the flirty gems amongst it. This book revolves around both main characters having a spanking kink and I've not read so much spanking since that Sleeping Beauty book by Anne Rice, if you like that then this is literally thee book for you! Not quite understanding the allure of being spanked myself, those scenes didn't really peak my interest, they are very well written however. But I did love the actual spicy scenes, they were just as hot as the first book! And if you've read book one and you liked what the magic mirror did, you'll be happy again! 😉 Once again there's plenty of aftercare and interesting magic.
I felt very drawn to Nicole's best friend Lisa whose personality seems like a clone of mine, she's more modest, sort of shy and doubts anyone would ever find her worth loving, she's curvy too, I really hope she gets a book because I'm already in love with her character!

Wow what a brilliant book this was and a very hot and steamy read that just gets hotter and perfect the more I get into thee book. Nicole is a curvy human female who is having a dry spell because the males don’t satisfy her kinky desires and so her friend takes her to a monsters hockey game where she see’s the captain is an Orc and wonders if he could be the one and when he asks her to the after party at the Monsters’ Sin Club she jumps at the chance because this is her secret that she keeps but when Merk takes her to his private room with all his special toys she is so excited that hopefully after al this time she has found someone who desires the same things she does. Merk is a billionaire Orc who is the captain of the Manhattan Monsters hockey team and also a co-owner of the exclusive Monsters’ Sin Club and while playing in a game he notices a very curvy female cheering him on and so he asks her to the after party at his Club and when she agrees he is excited and hopeful that she might be the woman he has been searching for and so he invites her to his private room and she is everything he has been looking for and she matches all of his desires and has some of her own and its perfect and his after care melted my heart even more. But Merk wants more than just there one night with Nicole he wants to keep her but will she want him. Nicole has finally found the man of her dreams and she doesn’t want to give him up and the way he looked after me made me fall in love and yes I know it’s fast but it’s been a long time since all her desires and kinks have been matched and she has to find way to keep him. How does it all turn out for these two who are drowning in pleasure. Great book.

Nicole, a human, is overworked, under appreciated, and thanks to a long dry spell— *really* needing some smexy time. Merk is an Orc and a billionaire who plays hockey for the Manhattan Monsters ( as their captain), and is a co-owner of the Monsters’ Sin Club, a place where humans and Orcs can mingle after dark and enjoy some smexy time, and where magic can find you your mate. Merk is tall, muscled, sinfully sexy, and very charming. The two meet at a hockey game and soon find they share the same proclivities. And then the fun really starts!
The characters of Nicole and Merk are extremely likable. Also, Merk is an aftercare champ. If you’re looking for something lighthearted, funny, sweet, and smexy with a happy ending— and you don’t mind billionaire, flirty, and hunky green males— be sure to read this one!

As with the last book in this set, the sm*t is the plot, only this FMC likes spanking and the Orc MMC is a hockey player.

While the intimate scenes are the main part, and they are well written, there are some other things that Dark has done really well. The first is the world. This is contemporary, but the world has been melded with an alternate one, which is why there are fantastical creatures with clubs in New Yorc ( see what she did there with the 'c' ? ) 😂

Second, she gives the characters relatable struggles. Nicole is a confident strong woman, but she's struggling with how the company she works for abuses her time.

I also enjoy the bits of Orc culture she slips in. Having someone to match in their desire is very important. They even have magic pixies to help them find said match.

And lastly, despite being an absolutely naughty book, it is so damn sweet. The tenderness and care that blossoms between the characters is absolutely wonderful.

Merk all star hockey player, one of the Orc lords and the master mind and designer for all of the pleasure furniture at the Monsters Sin Club.
Nicole an overworked, underpleasured curvy girl desperate for a naughty release.
All it took was one look and they were connected and once they crossed the threshold of the monsters sin club it was confirmed they were made for each other. Matching kinks, the need, the desire.
This book was a perfect follow up to the Orc lord of pain. I loved reading about Merk and Nicole’s love and relationships blossoming both sexually and sensually. The way he continues to help her grow, how she watches him at his games and then the go back to the club and let go. 🌶️🌶️🥵 definitely a must read and I cannot wait to explore more from this author.

The author clearly knows what she's talking about when it comes to kink. Loved to see safewords and negotiations. It's so rare that you find a book with kink that's actually ethical kink.
I just wish the author knew how to portray it better. I wanted to like this more, but the writing just feels... Soulless, is the best way to describe it. I found myself skipping to the sex scenes because everything else was so boring. Usually it's the other way around, where I skip bad sex scenes to read the plot part of the novel. This is the first time it's been this way around.
The sex scenes themselves were very accurate, but almost too clinical. Very much tell instead of show. They came off as pretty dry.

I just wish the author knew how to portray it better. I wanted to like this more, but the writing just feels... Soulless, is the best way to describe it. I found myself skipping to the sex scenes because everything else was so boring. Usually it's the other way around, where I skip bad sex scenes to read the plot part of the novel. This is the first time it's been this way around.
The sex scenes themselves were very accurate, but almost too clinical. Very much tell instead of show. They came off as pretty dry.

I enjoyed this one as much as the first book in this series.
I am loving the monster club with its special monster k!nk space. I also loved that the author threw in some monster hockey, joining the recent flush of hockey romance books I’ve seen.
The fmc was confident and knew what she was looking for while mmc was exactly what I hoped for when looking at an orc who likes to play. He was big, strong and hard, exactly what you want in an orc.
This was a sweet and short novella and I hope the author writes more in this series.

Rosemary knocked it out of the park again! Merk and Nicole are perfect. Merk is an Orc hockey star, billionaire and part owner of the Monsters sin club and is looking for a person to match his level of kink. Nicole is a beautiful curvy human working for a marketing company and going through a bit of a dry spell. Merk and Nicole catch each other's eyes and the sexy spanking magic flies. I really loved their openness towards each other and their instant attraction. This novella is so hot. Merk can make his hand vibrate🫨📳 among his many magical 🪄 talents. I highly recommend this book if your looking for Orc sexiness.

Oh this second book but just as good as the first! Merk is the captain of the Manhattan Monsters, an orc hickey team. And let me tell you….this is not your typical sport. Nicole goes to her first game with her best friend Lisa and realizes it’s a lot more primal and so much more bloody and fun. She’s invited to the after party and is found to be Merk’s perfect kink mate. And the party continues from there.
Sweet, spicy, kinky, and delicious. I love how the feelings grew and how steamy the scenes were. If you like impact play this is a book you want to read.

I cannot tell you how nice it is to have a straight forward story! Super sexy. No third act breakups or drama. Just following the two MCs on their journey. No repetitive "is it too soon, do I feel anything, I must deny myself" to the story. I love it. These books a character driven. Can be read in any order really. After I read the first book I was hoping a secondary character was going to be in this one. I was upset it wasn't, and I have no interest in hockey. I should've had more faith. I will read on as the author writes more.

loved it !! love this series !! love Merk and Nicole... this is their story..a fast paced drama...Monster's Sin Club... Nicole is struggling with her job.. overworked and under appreciated... what was supposed to be a 9-5 has turned into 24/7... she goes to an Orc hockey game with her bestie and well.... Merk is the captain of the Manhattan Monsters Hockey Team... and he's the star player... it's electric... and only gets better... so good !!!

I was a big fan of Rosemary’s first book and this one was just as good - if not better!
As I said in my review for The Orc Lord of Praise a monster romance coupled with a sex club setting is a win win!
The characters Merk and Nicole were so sweet together and the story and spice was woven together perfectly in this book.
I very much look forward to seeing which Orc lord we get next!

An orcashly delicious and erotic monster romance that had my knees all weak and my heart in happy sub space! I absolutely adore monster romance, but when you pair it with some BDSM, what we get is a seriously addicting series! I thought the first book was good, but this second book Monsters Sin Club series is even HOTTER! I can't wait for more! This book is wickedly fun and the characters are amazing! An all round 5 DELECTABLE STARS!

Hockey plus an orc!!!!
This was everything I love in one book. Love a dominant male, have a weird obsession with hockey romances, then throw in an orc and damn I'm one happy lady. Super sweet and spicy, instalove story. A great in-between read with all the feels and zero angst. This was exactly what I needed and I highly recommend it. Cannot wait for more from this series. This author just gained a new stalker!

I loved this! To be it just gets better this FMC is lady after my own heart. Orcs and Hockey, yes please 🥰, this is a fast read with lots of spicy scenes, a smex club and bdsm aspects …oh and lots n’ lots of spankings.
I did find the fact that everyone swarmed the monsters when they finished just for the chance to get 💦 on hilarious 😆… I just pictured people screaming and freaking out like they do when they go see bands.

This book was literally an almost copy paste of the after care scenes from the last one and that’s just sad and lazy along w one of the sex scenes.
Salve? Check. Healing bath? Check. Duplicates himself? Check.
Basically just chance their occupations and kinks and you’ve got the same book. Same “drink” scene in the first part of the club. Idk. Puts me off a lot.
