Roxanne Rustand

Roxanne is a USA Today Bestselling, award-winning author of forty romantic suspense, mystery, and heart-warming, emotionally charged relationship novels in the clean & wholesome, as well as inspirational romance genres.

She got her first horse at the tender age of six and grew up riding bareback with wild abandon throughout her small Minnesota town year-round. It was like giving a child car keys!

She showed horses for many years, and later, she and her husband raised quarter horses and thoroughbreds until their kids came along.

She's living her childhood dream, living on an acreage in the country with her husband, three horses (all beloved elderly pasture ornaments, now), a golden retriever, a Mountain Cur rescue, and six fluffy barn cats. It's a much smaller menagerie than when their three kids were still at home!

Ranches, animals, and small-town life frequently find their way into her books.

Terrific book. My first read from Ms Rustand, won't be the last! Excellent writing, believable characters. Good storyline, well plotted, and has a sweetness that drew me in. Christianity is there front and centre, but in a charming, natural way. These are good people who don't need to make a fuss about the fact that God is the centre of their lives, that's something everyone takes for granted. A very enjoyable read.

Deadly Betrayal by Roxanne Rustand
DEA Special Agents Series Book Three
T.J. Cauthen, now Joe Coughlin, had been framed. He went from a DEA special agent to a prisoner. He was released early due to technicalities, but that’s not enough. He is out to prove himself innocent and regain his stellar reputation. Not to mention getting his daughter back in his life. He goes to Silver Springs, Wyoming, to get what he needs.
Abby Hilliard is trying to get by. The big home she has is part of Sheltering Pines Funeral Home property, her late husband’s and his brother’s business. She has boarders to help her stay ahead, but as soon as she gets her degree…she’s out of this place.
Another page-turner. I loved the characters, both two-legged and four. The storyline kept me glued to it from beginning to end. It’s part of a series, but each book is stand-alone.

DEA Special Agents #3

In Rustand 's third book dealing with a DEA agent we find Joe leaving prison after being set up by another agent who put drugs in his car during a drug bust. He had spent five years in prison trying to figure a plan to get back into the area where he was working to bring the real culprits into play and bring the DEA and local police there to put an end to the problem.
Its a good mystery but a bit involved with characters personal lives. I enjoy Rustand books though so will read more of her series in the future.

❤️Loved the book!

I’ve not read the books in order, thinking I was at the end with the last one and aggravated that I had to wait another month for your next book to come out. Then I remembered that I could go back and read what I hadn’t. I really appreciate you Roxanne for writing such good clean stories. They are suspenseful and kept calling me back to my easy chair.
I started a few other books from different authors, only to quit after a chapter or two.
So far, all of the books in this series have been 👍😃👏

Wonderful story

Wonderful romantic suspense story. Joe, who worked undercover as a DEA agent, was imprisoned for 5 years but got released. He is determined to find who set him up and clear his name while being a father to a daughter who hardly knows him and doesn't want anything to do with him.
The characters were great, the storyline was engaging, and this story had romance, terrific characters, danger, and jntrigue.

Great clean romantic suspense

Loved this book! Clean romance, no cursing. The plot was great & had a surprise or two at end, revealing everyone behind the scenes. I'm a Christian & I'vec stayed away from crime novels because they're too trashy. So I'm really looking forward to reading more novels by this author.

This third book in the series doesn’t disappoint. A well written story has you guessing as to who did what. Joe and Abby are attracted to each other, but can she trust him? I highly recommend this series.

This may be the best of the series so far. Joe was an awesome character, and his struggles to clear himself while trying to be a good father made him all the more likable.
