This was not the book for me. My favorite parts were the cover, premise, and making it to the epilogue. Everything in between all of that was just lacking. The characters and plot had no real development. The paranormal was basically non-existent. If Khan didn't have fangs, and glowing eyes, we wouldn't be able to tell that he was different from humans. The romance,....I'm still looking for it. I spent the majority of my time either wondering how I hadn't made it to the end of the book yet or making mental grammatical corrections as I read.

Nothing about this book was paranormal forreal. All the author did was made the male a vampire. There was hardly any plot, no climax, no nothing. If you looking for something to read just for the sake of reading then this book is for you.

Im so hurt there isn’t more to this story cause I swear I’d happily sit my here all day and read it and feel happy and full 👀 . 😍😍🙌🏾🙌🏾

Khan’s Choice was an okay read for me, I’d give it 3 stars. The story had a creative mix of love, danger, and immortality, and I liked the idea of Khan waiting centuries for his mate. The chemistry between him and Choice was there, but I found myself wanting a bit more depth and connection between them.

It might just be me, though, maybe I’ll give it another read, because sometimes the audiobook version can change the whole experience. Overall, it had potential and enough intrigue to keep me curious about what happens next.

This was a good instant attraction vampire romance read. The spice was top tier and I loved the way Khan treated Choice. I love a man who knows what he wants from the jump and takes it! I flew through this novella in one sitting and it kept me entertained.

But the story lacked. It was very anticlimactic. I can see where the author attempted with that little drug issue, and then the mall fight, but it just wasn't developed enough. I guess since technically they were vampires, it counts as fantasy, but it didn't read any differently than any other urban romance besides him having to feed on his mate. It was an ok read and attempt at fantasy.

About the book: Chance is a thriving nail tech just minding her business when Kahn came in to her shopping after waiting on his sister to be done. Let’s just say once he saw her he was hooked and she was his from that moment on. This book was very fast paced with a little drama lots dirty talk. This was a cute sweet store. And I loved the side characters

I would like to say that this book was funny because as someone who reads and watches a lot of vampire movies, They kind of shut down that they were like other vampires. It was also laughable that they referenced Vampires in Brooklyn because if you’re anything like me, that movie gave me nightmares as a child. I don’t even know why I was watching that 🤣 maybe that’s where my love of vampires started. I can’t say that either of the characters really stood out to me, and there wasn’t really much to the plot, but it’s a quick read.

Khan and Choice was too cute. I loved Chase lol. His lil bad self was so funny. You really have to watch what you say and do around kids because they pick that up quick. Overall I did enjoy this but this lacked the paranormal vibe even tho they was vampires. It wasn’t much action it gave more of an urban romance with blood sucking. Now if you looking for paranormal action this ain’t it.

There was something about Khan having to be told that if Choice gets too weak he should slow down or stop feeding from her that annoyed the shit out of me.

Other than feeding from his mate, there was very little use of him being a vampire. Proving that supernatural or not....men will just take.

I gave this 3.5⭐️. What I like about the paranormal genre is that you can read a substantial amount of shifter and vampire books and the author will more often than not add their own spin on the rules of the paranormal universe. For example, in this story a vampire only fed from their mate or that the species of the father was what determined the species of the children.

This was a very easy and quick read. There was so much happening in such a short amount of pages but I like it.

I had to start this review with that quote because I was hollering! I instantly knew I was on to something with this read😂. This is my first read by Tacarra and if I'm being honest it was definitely the cover that pulled me in because.... yeah Khan didn't have to do me like this 😩
What I loved most about this book was the twist on the paranormal aspect. The characters were giving full human until it was time to turn it up and then boom! I loved that this was a quick read (just over 100 pages), yet it read like a full-length novel. These two were the main couple but the storyline introduced us to others that played their parts well and added more to the story. Khan and Choice were a vibe together and I loved them however, my favorite characters in this book were Khaza because sis was not for the foolery and Chase because his little behind kept me laughing😆.
Tacarra is gaining a new reader because she did her thing with this book. The acceptance and loyalty I read hit hard. Khan's Choice gave a little of everything we even had a little drama thrown in but Khan handled that quick...quick! I would love to see more from these characters but the storyline didn't leave much to explore unless... we see Chance again if so I know she will be hell on her man and I'm here for it!

Who would have thought when your new client’s brother walked into your nail salon, that he would ask you out on a date and then stand on it a few hours later. Y’all Khan was playing with Choice and she had no idea what she was getting herself into. Khan checked an ex behind Choice, and they barely knew each other at that time. He told Misa if he had to do it again it would be a wrap.

Imagine to your surprise after said encounter in your nail shop that everything you thought and witnessed was true, yes you saw his eyes change color and yes he had diamond drills with fangs. WHEW!!!! Baby Khan was fine af!!!! Heavy on the fine. When Choice asked him if he was a vampire and he answered her honestly, they might as well had become one because after that it was up.

They went from dating, to mating, to feeding, to forever. Loved their story and the journey they went on together. One thing about Khan was he stood on business every time and he followed through always. The innocence Choice had, was something he never took advantage of. Yeah, this quick read ATE! Not to mention they was hunching ALOT lol. Okay Miss MaMas, you did that.

🤎This was such a good reading snack that I wanted to savor which! I enjoyed this Vampire Love story between Khan & Choice! What will get me every single time is a woman being loved right, doted on, catered too and nurtured!

📖Imagine Vampire in Brooklyn meets Unholy Brothers but there’s more romance and undeniable mate bonds that are not denied! For some reason I am in a Vampire era and I loved the jokes, the banter and the characters in this novel! I can’t help but want more or wonder if there will be a series maybe with Chance meeting her Mr. Vampire Right!! I never want a good book to end!!

📚What happens if one random day you happen to meet your mate, if your human you would you know how vampire mates work, what is that glow in his eyes when he sees you, can you fall for a vampire and his hood charms, how do you know when you’ve found your mate, did you know they only take on paternal genes, would you give into love, would you be scared away, after all what could it hurt, can you have your happily ever after?

I don't like it at all!!

This was a quick read and while the story had vampires in it or "viggas" as one black content creator so eloquently said. (I love it!!) The story didn't feel very vampiric or supernatural. The vampire thing was just a back drop and blood sucking...so um it didn't do it for me.

I did finish the book though, so I must of liked it, but I couldn't tell you for real what it was about. Like I remember nails, blood and a little gangster activity, but that's about it. So, uh, yea...that's the post...2.5 Stars
