Purr-Fectly. Delightful! This was such a fantastic read. So entertaining! Heartwarming, sexy and loving. Bronwen Evans brings us some awesome hate-flirt in this forbidden romance between a woman and her ex’s older brother that had me swooning, and smiling big time. Loved it!

Lexie (Lex) Williams and Kade Colder were so freaking awesome together. Their animosity and heat towards one another was off the charts and I loved being absorbed into it all. The conflict they have, made for some great verbal sparing and sizzling chemistry that jumped right off the page. There were just so many great moments between them and I couldn’t get enough.
I loved Kade’s vibe and character. He had wanted Lex since the first time he saw her. When his brother Jason brought his fiancé home. So now that Jason is out of the picture, he is ready to show Lex that he is not at all like his brother. I loved how he went out of his way to get close to Lex and show her who he really was, and how he felt about her, as she overhauls his car.
Lex was great as well, because while she is this hard chick that works a job that is usually done by men she is the best at what she does, but she is also hurt and struggling by all the things that she endured at the hands of her drug addicted ex. I loved seeing the different sides of her.
These two clash and it is ridiculously fantastic! I love the tension and the heat as these two fight their attraction . And when they finally come together it is...Yum! Get ready for some serious fun and a whole lot of sweetness and off the charts sexy in this incredibly heartwarming and entertaining story.

A woman in a man's word, Lexie Walker has two things on her mind only: divorce her drug addict husband and get her cabin back. She gets her opportunity when her soon to be brother-in-law brings in a beaten up vintage car for restoration. Kade has always been attracted to Lexie and feels guilty not only for what his younger brother has done to her but because he didn't stop their wedding in the first place, especially since he is fully aware of how he feels about her. Lexie thinks Kade blames her for his brother's addiction but Kade knows that there is nothing either of them could have done to help him. Bonding over the restoration of the junker, Kade finds ways to get closer to Lexie, but winning the feisty, independent woman over, takes ingenuity and good planning. This novel is painful and yet heartwarming as two people unite in a common goal and discover new possibilities. I enjoyed this novel as well as the interesting characters. it is well written, and although part of a series, it is a standalone and does come to a successful conclusion. I received a copy of this book through Booksprout as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Tom took her in and hired Bad Boy Autos first female mechanic. Kade Colter always goes after what he wants. Only once in his life did he back off, when his younger brother brought home his fiancée, Lexie Walker. Now Jason’s gone and there’s nothing stopping Kade going after what he’s desired all these years. He calls in a favour and soon he’s got Lexie working on restoring a car he’s bought.
I loved that this was a different trope. I loved both Kade & Lexie & how their relationship grew & changed especially from Lexie’s point of view. The chemistry between the pair sizzled from the start but no way was Lexie going to act on it, neither was Kade however much he wanted to. It was a lovely romance of moving on & learning to trust. A very well written book that I found very hard to put down & loved every single page

Purr for Me is book 2 in the Bad Boys Autos series by Bronwen Evans a new to me author but I will certainly be reading from her.
Lexie Walker is trying to pick up the pieces of her life after her soon to be ex husband (if she can find him) left her in debt, mortgaged her cabin (for drug money) and cheated on her. Being a woman in a man’s world (top notch mechanic and restoration of high ends cars) seems to have to prove herself but when she get the opportunity to restore a vintage car that belongs to her former brother-in-law, Kade she has to bit her tongue and not refuse.
Kade Colter, billionaire, best selling author and journalist has had feelings for his soon to be ex sister-in-law but instead of stopping the marriage he faded into the background but now is determined to show Lexi how he really feels…
What happens next is the telling of how it all began, trying to make things right and hopefully finding a HEA for everyone…

So much could have gone wrong with this book, but Bronwyn Evans did a great job eliminating over the top drama and angst. Lexi is married to Jason, a missing drug addict who stole from her. His brother, Kade, has been in love with Lexi for yeara and both are hoping Jason gets the help he needs. When Jason returns, the story could have gotten ugly between the three characters, but it was a smooth read and the ending worked perfectly. I especially loved how Lexi is a skilled mechanic that can definitely play with the big boys.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this author, as the title sounded a bit cheesy, but the concept sounded worthwhile, so I gave it a shot. I’m glad I did. It’s not a long book, but it is exactly the right length to relay the budding romance between Lexie and Kade, her soon-to-be ex-husband’s older brother. Having this pre-existing relationship brought a bit of baggage into their relationship, but the fact that they both wanted what was best for Jason helped.
Fairly early on, Kade admitted that he had avoided Lexie once she and his brother became engaged because he had feelings for her himself and he didn’t want to interfere with their potential happiness. I think what I liked most about Kade was his willingness to be open and vulnerable about his feelings for Lexie. Despite feeling it was early in the relationship, he told Lexie he loved her because he wanted to be honest with her.He was patient and caring and never pushed her, and this was essential for Lexie’s growth.
The book is really about Lexie’s journey. Immensely hurt by Jason’s betrayal, she doesn’t think she can ever trust anyone again, particularly a man. Kade has to go a long way to prove himself to her, but as he does, and as she sees the way he operates, Lexie begins to realize that she has been unfair to some of the other people around her. His patience and understanding helps her to be more patient and understanding with others. She finds herself apologizing for the chip on her shoulder and opening herself up more to be more honest with some of her friends. They respond in kind. Lexie transforms from an injured, fearful creature into a confident, expressive, and forgiving woman, demonstrating there is hope for anyone when the right person comes along.
It’s an enjoyable read, never veering off course, never losing momentum, as it charts a path toward Lexie and Kade’s HEA. I’m interested in reading more from this author, and more from this series.

Purr For Me is the second book in the steamy Bad Boy Autos series. The books are fine as stand-alone but it is such a good series that you will want to read both books. The book was easy to read and had fascinating characters. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put the book down I was so captivated by it. It was beautifully written, flowed smoothly, and was another captivating book by the author.
Lexie Walker was trying to locate her soon to be ex-husband, Jason Colter. Her friend Tom had hired her as a mechanic at Bad Boy Autos so she could hardly turn him down when he asks her to work on her soon to be ex-brother-in-law, Kade Colter’s car. She’s already fallen for one Colter and she’s not about to let another one close. She hopes Kade can help her find his brother and the money he ran off with to save her cabin.
Kade Colter had always been attracted to Lexie, but he’d stayed away because she was his brother’s wife. He knows his brother didn’t treat her right and he is trying to find him and help him straighten his life out. He thought by having Lexie work on his car, he could spend time with her and hopefully convince her not to press charges against his brother. Now he just has to prove to her that he is nothing like his younger brother. But will guilt hold the two apart or will love overcome their guilt?

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Kade and Lexie are such strong characters. Lexie is left in a rough spot when her addict husband leaves her high and dry. She gets a job at Bad Boy Autos thanks to Tom. Kade is the older brother of her ex. She has quite a few misconceptions when it comes to Kade. The only thing he ever backed away from was Lexie. He knows that now is his chance to right that wrong and prove to her that not all men are like his brother. He fixes it so that she is working on an old car he has. Although she does not want to for several reasons, she feels she has no choice. Kade plans to convince her that she can be happy with the right brother this time around. I love these two characters. The story was well written with highs and lows that bring out your emotions. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more from Bronwen.

Lexie is great at fixing and detailing cars, but is not so lucky in love. Multiply burned by her "husband," Lexie is trying to get back on her feet at Bad Boy Autos. The boss wants her to work on her brother-in-law's car that needs too much work. Her boss and Lexi have had a rough relationship, and he pushes Lexi to take the job despite many misgivings (including her feelings for older brother, Kade).
Despite her misgivings Lexi take on the job that puts her into closer contact with Kade that she likes. That close work could have consequences in the romance department, but there is a lot of pain to overcome for both. I really enjoyed getting to know this latest work by Bronwen Evans. It is a take that easily kept me reading. I suspect you will really like this heated romance; I sure did. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest rating. Enjoy!

Loved this book about Lexi, Kade and Jason. I felt that it dealt with the subject of addiction well and did not sugarcoat the impact that it has on those around the addict. Lexi married Jason who turned out to be not only a very selfish person but an addict who left her in considerable debt when he bailed. Kade is Jason's brother who has always wanted Lexi but has his brother's behaviour destroyed his chance with her. A great book with well written characters and great to see a bit more of Tom and Kendra's story continuing. Loved it.

Loved this wonderful romance with Lexie and Kade. She has been left in debt by her ex Jason who is Kade's younger brother. Kade has had a thing for Lexie when his younger brother started dating her he backed off but now he has his chance to show her how a real man treats his woman. Lexie is a auto mechanic and Kade needs work on his car so he gets Lexie to do the work so that he can be close to her in the hopes she may feel the same way about him. She tried to resist but Kade will not give up. This is well written that not only touches on the romance between the two main characters but also addiction of her ex Jason.

Lexi is in deep when her drug addicted cheating husband skips town with her money leaving her with mounds of debt. Her priority is to find Jason to recoup the money and divorce him. His brother Kade is finally trying to help find him and/pay for said debt to avoid Lexi from turning in his brother to the police for fraud. Kade has always been in love with Lexi and is finally getting his chance to be with her. The story is entertaining. We get to see the sparks between the two characters as they verbally spar off with each other through their frustrations with Jason.

Great storyline!! The interactions between Lexie and Kade were so well done and I loved how Kade does not push the issue of their attraction to each other out of respect for Lexie and the fact that she is soon to be divorced from his younger brother, even though he has wanted to get to know her better ever since he had met her way back before she had married Jason. The chemistry is off the charts and yet the sweetness level will make you go all gooey inside! I look forward to more books in this series. It is excellent!!

Very entertaining story! There were so many twists and turns between Lexie and Kane and their road to happiness. Lexie is such a strong and vibrant woman who is so self-assured. Kade is so assertive, tenacious and so in love with Lexie that it is downright make your heart melt sweet! And their group of friends are colorful and really add to the story. This is a definite add to your library read and I will definitely be re-reading this again!

Lexie and Kade have a complicated relationship, she was married to his brother Jason. Can Lexie get past all the hurt and come to the realization that Kade has always been attracted her. I enjoyed how the characters were portrayed and the addiction was not glossed over, but true to how devastating it can be not only for that person, but the whole family. This storyline had some hard moments to overcome, yet at the same time very rewarding to be loved.

This is a second chance at real and true love for Lexie will she take it or will she run especially since the new man is related to the a hole she was married too. Kade has always had a thing for Lexie and now that she is free nothing and no one will step in his way. I thoroughly enjoyed both the characters and the flow of the storyline.

I like Lexie’s spunk. It was great how she didn’t fit the norm. She’s a mechanic and restores cars. Kade is her almost ex-brother in law. He has had a thing for her all along, and he’s determined to have her. He knows what his brother put her through. So he’s trying to find ways to be near her. There are ups and downs but they find their happy ever after. Great romance

A bit naughty with a whole bunch of heart!
I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose sleep because I couldn't wait another day to read it!

Great read despite some editing issues. It's interesting story with likable characters. Kade and Lexie's romance is pure entertainment. This book captured me from page one and kept my interest to the very end. 4.5 stars.

Patience
Kade and Lexi's story was okay. Lexie has to find her husband because time is running out. Kade wants what he wants and he is ready to go after it, but patience is greatly needed. This is book 2 in the series. Book 1 is my favorite so far. I hope book three is great!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been very rare that I have been able to read a book in one day, but I was captivated by these characters instantaneously.
Let me just start off by saying that I have already set an alarm in my phone to remind me to be on the look out for the next book in this series! I absolutely LOVE these novels and the romantic atmosphere that they bring without becoming crude and overbearing. So many times, now-a-days, there are individuals out there quick to write a fast story with too much lust and not enough romance; however, you never have to worry about that when it comes to the Bad Boy Auto series!
Kick back in your chair, dim the lights, make yourself something to drink along with a snack while you join the story of a young woman discovering that maybe love is within her grasp after all. Everyone gives up too easily on the family of addicts, especially the spouses, by writing them off as enablers but no one ever looks deeper to see that they have more guilt placed upon their own shoulders than any that someone else could ever place. Come and read about a self-reliant young lady finding that not all men are the same, for some want to just love and protect their women and not take advantage of them and leave them when everything they could gave from them is gone.

Everyone gives up too easily on the family of addicts, especially the spouses, by writing them off as enablers but no one ever looks deeper to see that they have more guilt placed upon their own shoulders than any that someone else could ever place. Lexie and Kade's story was so different and exciting to read. I love the characters and the storyline.
