How to seduce your brother’s best mate in six easy steps…

Just between you and me, my brother’s best mate is hot as .
I’d never admit how I feel about him to my brother, Alex, because he warned me years ago never to go near his friends.
I’ve never admitted it to Damon either.
Even though he’s only six years older than me, he’s very much a man, so different from the boys I’ve dated over the past few years.
Just the way he calls me ‘ma belle’ is enough to make me melt.
But he treats me like his kid sister, which irritates the hell out of me.
Then Alex asks Damon if he’ll pick me up from university in Wellington and drive me home to Christchurch for the Easter break.
We have eight hours together with nothing to do but talk.
He’s smart, bossy, arrogant, and so frickin’ sexy I could explode.
By the time we’re halfway home, I want him more than the air I breathe.
For the remainder of the journey, I flirt with him. Tease him.
And then when we get home, I tell him I want him.
He pins me up against the wall.
Informs me he would never sleep with his best mate’s little sis.
He says he’s not sweet, and he’s not gentle.
And he insists a good girl like me should steer clear of bad boys like him.
OMG. Now I want him more than life itself.
So I invite all my friends around and ask them to tell me their best tips for seducing a man.
We whittle it down to a list of six they insist will definitely work.
Now, I just have to put them into practice, and see if I can bring him to his knees…

5 star review of Beauty and The Billionaire Boss (A Boss in a Billion #5) by Serenity Woods

Whenever I pick up a book by Serenity Woods, I know I am in for an entertaining, well written story that will draw me in and hold me captive until the end.

Damon is everything that I look for in a book boyfriend, he is swoon worthy, caring, arrogant and bossy. Belle has had feelings for him for a while, but he is her brother Alex’s best friend and should be off limits.

The heart wants who the heart wants and although Damon warns Belle off, she is determined to capture the man once and for all.

I have to say when Belle asks her friends for tips to seduce Damon, I couldn’t help but smile.

I received a free copy and this is a voluntary review.

Wow!  Each book in this series is better then the last!  Damon and Belle have such and incredible easy flowing chemistry.   Damon starts out by giving Belle a ride to family wedding and while on the 8 hour ride, they have the discussion to end all discussions! This book takes some really interesting turns and I felt myself wanting to reach our and hug Belle and Damon.  The relationships in the book between Belle and Damon, their friends and family, and the back stories that come to light throughout the book really make for a great read.  Damon thinks that he is saving Belle but she saves him right back and I found myself not wanting this book to end!
I was happy to receive and read an ARC in return for an unbiased review

I have enjoyed this whole series and the newest one is just as good as the rest. Damon and Belle’s story is quite different but touches on some topics that are hard to read about for some. Their story is funny and heartfelt and steamy, everything that made it fun to read. I truly enjoyed it and can’t wait to find out what happens in the next installment.
I have received an ARC and I am giving my honest review of the book.

I loved this book; even tho it started a bit awkward and the writing got a bit dodgy at times. I really loved the story and characters .

- no third act breakup
- wonderful character growth
- FMC (21; college senior); MMC (26)
- the spice was spicing
- dual POV; HEA
- no OM/OW drama
- no miscommunication

Belle has known Damon since she was 6 and he was 12. He saw her and started singing “Michelle, Ma Belle” and the nickname stuck. He is best friends with her brother and is driving her home for her sister’s wedding. She is young and naive about sex. They have a very frank and honest conversation in the car that gets heated. 🌶️

That part was a bit hard to believe but please stick w the story. I really loved the character growth and back stories for both of them. They really grew to love and support each other. I love how the author made Belle so emotionally aware and strong. They each have their own trauma and she was exactly the right person for Damon and he for her.

For a bit of a silly premise, it’s filled with heart.

I really loved it! 🥰

Favorite parts (spoilers ✋); in no order
- when he arrives to pick her up and helps with her ex, Cole, who wasn’t taking “no” for an answer.
- during their long road trip, when he tells her that he put her on the insurance and she can drive the car. Such a nice initial sign of respect
- how honest and gentle he is with her in the car (and later in the story when he opens up about his own issues)
- when she discovers that he’s a painter and painted her favorite painting in the office building. When he paints her.
- how all her friends support her in her feelings for him after the bachelorette party
- how they dance together at the wedding. They keep easily separating and then coming back together. A lovely metaphor for their whole relationship.
- how he supports her magic and aspirations
- when he gets her in the hotel bar after she talks w her mom and she spends the night with him and he just comforts her.
- how she helps him understand himself (his PTSD after the death of his friend as a child) and gives him time and space without pressure or expectations. How she understands his need to please and support women.
- how he can’t stay away and they have the amazing weekend together and then later when he visits her every weekend while she’s in Australia
- when her brother shows up at Damon’s house, supports the two of them together, shares her “history”, and offers his support.
- how Damon is direct with her about what he’s learned from the brother, shows his love and respects her boundaries about not talking about it.

**the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because 21 is really young. And some of the writing at times was a bit stilted.

Not my Cup of Tea

Definitely not my cup of tea book. Maybe I’m too old for it. Or maybe I’m just a grown up who prefers grown up romance.

If you want mega young kids and porn style sex scenes, than you will probably like this book.

I didn’t realize how YOUNG these characters are: 20 and 26. If I had a dollar for every time Belle says OMG I could buy my own private island. And good glory, page after page of sex. They explored BDSM, were an ad for half a dozen sex toys, and generally act like frat/sorority kids, but never actually did any of the principals of BDSM for all the talk about it. Very off putting, and for me, ruined the story.

The emojis were too much and not funny. The constant references to groups and songs didn’t make the characters any more likable. Of course, everyone in the story is a nepo baby and mega rich.

Also, there were several references to what other couples especially must have had in other books, but not an explanation, just a comment here or there that probably makes sense if you read ALL the other books. All it did was confuse me. And good lord, there’s dozens of characters and names and relationships. It was hard to keep track and really pulled me out of the story.

Some really heavy issues that never really got fully explored and were, ‘eh, okay…moving on’…. and as the ‘first wife’ who experienced the same situation as the MOB in this story… it was unfair, unjust, and wrong the way the mom was treated while the second wife enjoyed every possible shine at the wedding, esp. when the truth comes out—- and that the bride knew yet still let her mom be treated as if she didn’t matter. It’s hurtful, unkind, and most of all, uncaring. Not the best way to handle those heavy issues, and especially Mental Health. (Vague on purpose so no spoilers).

I did like the way the two main characters healed each other, and that’s the 2 stars. There was some genuine emotion in that, otherwise, this is a no-go book for me. The tech to help others was good, too. Unique career for Belle. Still not enough to make me read this again.
Nope, don’t want any of the other books.

Damon and Belle’s story in Beauty and the Billionaire Boss by Serenity Woods, book six in her A Boss in a Billion series, is a heartwarming, brother’s best friend, age-gap romance that is well worth reading. Damon and Belle have known each other for years; he being her brother’s best friend. Damon agrees to give Belle a ride to a family wedding and while on the eight hour ride, they have the craziest discussion. On their journey they get very close, but Damon insists it means nothing, he doesn’t do romance or relationships. Only Belle keeps sending him mischievous texts. As they continue to see each other, he buys her shameless presents as their attachment becomes irresistible. Belle now has the relationship she has always wanted; Damon too if he is honest with himself.

Both Belle and Damon experienced traumatic events in their childhood that very much affected the way they approach life. For Damon his experience is well known by his friends and family. Belle has not been quite as lucky as it has been kept a secret in her family since they all felt guilty about not suspecting. Nobody realizes quite how much both of them have been scarred, how much it has affected their interactions as adults. Belle’s issues are merely hinted at until close to the end of the story. These two have always supported each other and learn how be there when one needs the other. No matter the obstacles they encounter along their journey, they are able to slay their demons and overcome their fears and doubts as a future together is right there, on their horizon. I highly recommend Beauty and the Billionaire Boss to other readers and look forward to what is next.

Both Belle and Damon experienced traumatic events in their childhood that very much affected the way they approach life. For Damon his experience is common knowledge amongst friends and family, but for Belle it has been a secret in her family because they all felt guilty about not suspecting. Nobody realises quite how much both of them have been scarred, how much it has affected their interactions as adults. Belle’s issues are merely hinted at until close to the end of the story.

Damon is six years older than Belle, he first met her when she was six. He called her Ma Belle, and the name stuck, soon everyone called her Belle. She adored him from then, but being so much younger than her brother and his friends meant that they weren’t close. Now she is going to a wedding in Christchurch, and her brother, who had been going to drive her there, has a unexpected meeting and asks his best friend Damon if he will take her. He agrees to take Belle on the eight hour drive from Wellington, and for Belle it is all her christmases come at once!

On their journey they get very close, but Damon insists it means nothing, he doesn’t do romance or relationships, but Belle keeps sending him cheeky texts, and he buys her saucy presents, their attachment becomes irresistible! And so begins the relationship Belle has always wanted … Damon too if he is honest with himself. Eventually, after a few hiccups, the demons are slain and they are heading for their happy-ever-after.

A sweet story, very sexy and well worth reading.

Damon and Belle’s story in Beauty and the Billionaire Boss by Serenity Woods, the sixth book in her A Boss in a Billion series, is a heartwarming, age-gap romance featuring a brother’s best friend. Damon and Belle have known each other for years, as he is her brother’s best friend. When Damon agrees to give Belle a lift to a family wedding, their eight-hour journey sparks a series of wild conversations. Although they grow closer during the trip, Damon insists it means nothing; he avoids romance and relationships. Meanwhile, Belle playfully sends him mischievous texts. As they continue to see each other, Damon can't resist buying her unexpected gifts, and their bond becomes increasingly irresistible. Belle finally finds the relationship she has always wanted, even if Damon struggles to admit his true feelings.

Both Belle and Damon have experienced traumatic events in their childhood that significantly shape their approach to life. Damon’s past is well-known among his friends and family, but Belle's trauma remains a family secret, leaving her feeling isolated with her guilt. No one fully understands the scars they both carry and how these experiences affect their adult interactions. Belle's struggles are only hinted at until near the story's conclusion. Throughout their lives, they have always supported each other, learning how to be there when one needs the other. Regardless of any obstacles that they face, they confront their demons and overcome their fears, with a future together clearly in sight. I am looking forward to reading Alex's story next.

Underlying attraction becomes so much more.

Belle Winters is 22, attending school in Wellington and is about to qualify as a lawyer. Her older brother, Alex, was to drive her to Christchurch for their sister's wedding but he had to cancel. However, he's arranged for his friend, Damon, to drive her there.

Damon Chevalier is Alex's best friend. He's 26, and looks like the actor who plays the movie character Thor. He's a software engineer who works both at Alex's company and the company started by his twin brothers. Both companies design and develop not only prosthetics but a host of other other devices to help people with disabilities open up their lives to more.

Michelle is Belle's given name. She met Damon when she was 6 and even then he recognized her kindness to others. He gave her the name Belle from the song Michelle by the Beatles. She's been infatuated with Damon since then but Alex has warned him to stay away from her. Little does she know the attraction isn't all one sided!

Belle's parents divorced when she was about 12. Her mother, actress Kaitlyn Cross, left the family for Hollywood where she was a famous romcom star. She left the children with their schoolteacher father, Mason Winters, to raise them. She periodically returns to be fawned upon. However, Belle discovers that maybe there's more to the story...

Damon has known Belle since she was six years old, and he was twelve. He used to call her ‘ma belle’ and everyone else then called her Belle. I found this a heartwarming story. They both had devastating things happen when they were young. But as the story progresses, you see how they always support each other and learn how they are also needing each other. Belle is in college to be a lawyer but is not interested. Of the things her mother said she would pay for, that was the only one she thought was best. She loves doing magic tricks and is now doing children’s parties and they are a huge success. Damon not only has his job but also works with his friends building Max as well as fixing glitches with THOR. These, aid handicapped to build back strength as well as prosthesis for missing limbs. Alex has asked his best mate to bring Belle with him as Alex couldn’t leave yet. They are going to their sister’s wedding, which is an 8-hour drive, so they have time to catch up for the past years they haven’t really seen each other. The one problem is as Belle grew older; her brother made it known to his friends that his younger sister was off limits. As Alex and Damon are best mates, Damon was afraid to let his feelings for Belle show as he doesn’t want to lose working with Alex, nor does he want to lose his friendship. A very touching story.

This series features 3 hunky billionaires who have one-night stands that turn into so much more. Each story is very different and there are many serious plot themes to balance the humor and steamy scenes (and this one is extra steamy). There are many surprises along the rocky road to love and happiness, including insecurities, men who feel a need to protect the women around them, sexual abuse and harassment, relationship curses and survivor guilt. Whew. These issues make the story so much more interesting and satisfying. But do not despair because the Queen of Happy Endings once again finds the perfect solution to the problems and gives us a very happy ending. Damon is such a sweetie! Where do we find such a wonderful man who lives to help women both in and out of bed! All the brothers in this series are working on state-of-the art electronic devices and artificial intelligence to help other people. I like that the relationships are real and in this book some of the previous relationships hit rough spots too. And the New Zealand setting and all the luxurious settings (including a posh wedding) that only money can buy make the book sparkle! The romance is hot and then so sweet and full of love. Read them all, including the next book that is hinted at in the ending of this one.

so sweet, so hot, and so sexy!!!

Beauty and the Billionaire Boss
Wellington Billionaires #6
Serenity Woods
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sooo sweet. This story has all the craving elements for a great love story. Small age gap, best friends' sister, chemistry that is white hot and an awakening for a woman.
Damon Chevalier is one sexy sexy man… he likes his women but not relationships. There is one woman who takes his breath away, sadly she is his best friends' little sister and very off limits. But when Damon finds himself with Belle Winters on a long trip to Christchurch for her sister’s wedding, and let’s just say the conversation moves from pleasant to X-rated.
Belle Winters had always been in love with Damon, but he’s older than her 21yrs. It doesn’t stop her from puting the words on him during their trip in New Zealand. He finds her irresistible using his sexual knowledge to rouse her… but for Belle he’s like God, opening her expertise never knew existed, feelings she’s never known and wants every woman would love.
Colliding in an explosive bond, Damon, and Belle find their relationship as more than friends with benefits. It’s a real, true, deep love, but it comes with repercussions. They both have ghosts in their closets so when they are outed, and all their truths are laid bare can their sexual chemistry be enough to take that forever leap? Hell yes!!!!

Damon and Belle’s story is book six in the, A Boss in a Billion Series and for me it’s a perfect addition because this series has got better and better with each release. I have loved all the books in this series but this one goes to another level, this one is spicier and a bit more serious touching on some hard subjects and for me it’s the best so far.
Damon and Belle have known each other for years, he is her brothers best friend and as a friend he volunteers to go on an 8 hour car ride to a family wedding. What follows is a entertaining and at time emotional journey as two friends realise they want more than friendship……..
Beauty and the Billionaire Boss ticked all my boxes, I smiled, I swooned, I giggled and I held my breath. I fell hard and fast for Damon and I adored Belle but it was the writing that took this book to another level because this is a beautifully written journey that full of love, compassion, passion, witty banter and more importantly family and friendships.
I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers.

I was incredibly lucky to be sent an ARC of this book; this review is my own opinion and freely written!

Damon and Belle are lovely.

I didn't connect with them as much as with Kip and Alice for some reason, but that in no way changes facts:

- this is a great book
- it touches on some very important and rarely discussed topics, including but not limited to sexual exploration, male arousal and sex toys
- the hero and heroine both have their demons to overcome (which they do together)
- I was delighted to catch up with the others from the Billionaires series

Ms Woods' writing keeps getting better with each book and I never grow tired of it. This is saying something that, having read nearly all of what she's written, I can still eagerly anticipate a new release.

Most of all, what I keep on appreciating is that the communication between characters is very clear, concise, and holds no resemblance to Hallmark rom coms.

Let Damon and Belle take you on a journey of discovery, awareness, and love. I promise you won't regret it!

Belle and Damon's story pushes a lot of trope buttons, but at the stage they are in their lives, they can't help it if their families have been friends forever, and most of the single siblings have found partners, and his best friend (her big brother) asks a favor of him that involves a LONG drive, tand hey have known each other since they were kids (she slightly younger), and they have occasionally thought of each other throughout the years in a more than “just friends” way.

Very slight spoiler: I learned a lot of new and interesting things just as Belle does from a magazine sex questionnaire.

I have always liked Damon from earlier books, and love the dichotomy of how he can be so open and at the same time so damaged from a previous relationship that he has closed himself off.

Serenity Woods is able to bring about a wonderful healing relationship for these two hurt people without becoming maudlin, unbelievable or ridiculous. My only teeny annoyance was reading the words “praise kink” a few too many times.!

Serenity's books just keep better and better.

Belle has had a crush on Damon since childhood, but he is her brother's best friend and six years older than her. Then Damon gives her a ride from Wellington down to Christchurch for her sister's wedding. Damon arrives to pick her just as Belle's ex is trying to assault her. The ex is tossed out and they catch the ferry. On the trip they end up with a discussion about sex, and Damon is horrified that Belle's previous partners never made it a pleasure for her. He shows her what an orgasm is like, but it was just meant to be a one off event.

Both Belle and Damon have had tough things happen in their past, but can they heal each other?

I loved this book. It sensitively deals with difficult issues but I was still laughing in places. I look forward to reading the stories about the Christchurch billionaires in the next series.

Belle and Damon have known each other for years, she is the younger sister of his best mate. Now Belle and Damon find that a road trip to her sister’s wedding is just what they need to get to know each other as adults and as the weekend heats up so does their friendship.
Belle learns so much about herself, her family and her dreams and comes to find out no one “gets” her more than Damon. Damon realizes that Belle understands him like no other woman.
With some sage advise and nudging from friends and family Damon and Belle might just get what each wants… the other.
OMG, Damon is just so perfect especially in respect to women. Belle is intelligent, warm, and wise beyond her years. Together they have a relationship made in Heaven with bedroom antics hot as Hades!
Serenity Woods has done it again! I was drawn straight into the story on page one and could not put it down until it ended. I love this series, its characters, their stories and especially their author!

I liked Damon and Belle's "friendship turned to lovers" relationship. They had a strong chemistry, yet it was subtle at the same time. I loved the way they were able to heal one another's inner demons. It was obvious that they did not expect that as part of their relationship.

Was it just me? I feel like this book had a bit more heat than the previous books in the series. I did like that no matter how many steamy scenes Serenity Woods may have in her books, there is always that underlying sensuality that tends to make them more meaningful.

I enjoy the relationships among this family and friends group. They are so loyal and supportive of one another. Another thing I like about this series is that although they were billionaires, it never feels like a typical billionaire romance. These characters seem much more down to earth. I am looking forward to Alex's book.

Wowza Wowza Wowza. Just when I think the last book in this series was the best I've ever read from Serenity, I read this one and am blown away. Where do I even start to tell you how beautiful and sensuous this story is.

A young wounded woman and an older wounded man who have so many reasons not to come together, do the impossible and heal one another with their forbidden love.

I'm just gobsmacked by Damon and Belle's story. It's unbelievably sensuous, tender, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and wonderfully written. Serenity Woods is an amazing storyteller and I've watched her writing grow better and better. She writes such strong, beautifully loving and tender men. She always has families that are loving and supportive, and I always feel like I'm a part of those families and friends.

I recommend this book and cannot recommend Serenity Woods enough.

I have been a Serenity Woods fan for a long time. She writes fresh, innovative, funny, current, and romantic stories. If "Beauty and the Billionaire Boss" had been written by anyone else, I would have stopped after the first six chapters. Up until that point, it had read like a "How to Have Sex" manual.
But, because I know what Woods can do with a story, I kept going. I won't say that this was my favorite book that she has written, but the end did justify the beginning.
I liked that both characters had been damaged by past relationships and that each was able to help the other through the healing process. Their unspoken love and support of each other never really waivered and only increased their bond. Aside from the many "heated times", Woods wrote a beautiful story of love, friendship, and mending hearts.

A steamy one this time and although not an original concept - Belle has always had an attraction to Damon, her brothers best friend, which is a no go for him - as always with Serenity's books her character development and unexpected extras add depth to the story and reading pleasure.
In this book Serenity touches on the difficult and often not talked about subject of sexual abuse. It is dealt with sensitively and comes with a trigger warning before you start reading and some suggestions of where to get support if you are you are triggered.
Although this can be read as a stand alone book the weaving of the bigger story and also other series by Serenity really adds to it.

I have been reading Serenity’s books for at least, ten to fifteen years! This book was more serious but, still made me laugh out loud, giggle and shed a tear! She hasn’t left out the Billionaire or his girlfriend! Even though, he’s an old man of 27 and she is still in law school! I dated a 28 year old man when I was 18!I’ve been to New Zealand twice and since it is set in New Zealand I enjoyed the different places Serenity tells you about!I don’t believe she’s written one in Christchurch before but, she gives you all the info about the earthquakes! Of course, she also touches on Wellington, Auckland! I just loved it and if your into romance be sure and read it!I have read this as an ARC and wasn’t influenced by it!

Belle Winters is a law student and at 21 she's not sure why people are so crazy about sex as it's a tad boring to her. Enter Damon Chevalier, her brother's best friend and ladies' man of note. Being Belle's lift on a cross country roadtrip means that they chat about all sorts of things and, you guessed it, their mutual years long crushes finally becomes a relationship.
As always, Serenity Woods tackles a few social and emotional issues headlong in her story but always in a sensitive and even informative way.
To he honest, I struggled to dip my toes into this one. It has a slow start. However, when the story really gets started, it is lovely.

This is definitely Serenity's spiciest book to date! I love how Serenity interwove scenes in this book with ones that we had already read in Kip and Saxon's stories but from a different perspective, it really helped weave them all together. However, you dont need to read the other books to enjoy this one. I also enjoyed the very brief cameo by Cillian and Tori from Serenity's psycholical thriller nom de plume Cate Anderson, very clever bringing them in!
As is Serenity's style, this book is lots of fun, very spicy but also deals with deeper issues in an authentic and understanding manner. A wonderful way to wrap up one series and brilliantly segues into the next - I can't wait to read Mistletoe!

This is the 6th book in the, A Boss in a Billion series and features Kip and Saxon's younger brother, Damon, and Belle.

This is a brother's best friend romance, that also touches on some tougher topics. As usual the big issues are handled with respect and understanding. I always love the interconnected relationships in Ms Woods series. It always makes you want to become a part of that family or friendship group.

This is a spicy read with great banter. I especially love the texts between Belle and Damon. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Damon and Belle

Her brother arranged for her to ride with Damon to Christchurch. 8 hours in a car with her brothers best friend that she has had a crush on since she was 12. They got started talking on the Ferry. He let her drive his Jag. He told her a cure for cramps. Both say timing not right but maybe friends with benefits.
Serenity Woods writes such so wonderful stories. Her characters are like people

I loved Damon & Belle, this story was just what i needed. Damon has been friends with Alex since they were young and had seen Belle grow up but at some point he started seeing her as more than his best mates little sister. Damon offers to accompany Belle home for the wedding of there friends and these two end up crossing the line. I loved how Damon was and you found out so much more about him. I love how these stories in this series have all overlapped so you get to see other POV of things that occur. I loved when Alex finds out it was done so well and was perfect. love this series.

Damon and Belle

He gave her the nickname when they were children. He’s her brother’s best friend. She hasn’t really had any good relationships and he’s not interested in anything serious. She’s always had a crush on him. He finds out she never had an O - so he basically gives her praise filled sex lessons. 🔥some good praise but at times it felt a big awkward and just not quite right. They do talk about falling in love pretty early so that was nice - nothing too special about the story like the other two books… they just were more unique.

I absolutely LUV a Serenity Woods romance!!!

Damon and Belle have been in love for somewhere around 15 years - since Belle was 16. But they didn’t want Belle’s brother Alex, to get a whiff of their relationship. He had told Damon that he needed to stay away from Belle. Alex didn’t want Damon to be with Belle, so they didn’t feel they could be together. Well, love wins overall. Belle and Damon cannot resist each other and it’s a HEA! I LUV those kind of stories and Serenity does it so well!!

Awesome story. This is indeed a steamy one, but Serenity has lightly touched on some tough issues as well with grace and compassion. The story is delightful. I enjoyed the depth of these characters, the lovely dialogue, romantic/steamy scenes and humour, but also that Serenity doesn’t shy away from issues and does her research. Life can be messy and painful but how much more beautiful when people love each other anyway, just as they are.
