“Evil Lurks on Whidbey Island”

You initially learn about the villain and his plans right from the beginning and honestly this had me hooked. The fact that he used one of the greatest ideas on earth to cause a catastrophe just adds more excitement to this story. And I personally think it should be used more in thriller stories and movies.

Moving forward you begin following Kevin O’Malley and his wife Jenne. They live on Whidbey Island and they have the most adorable German Shepherd, Emma. They seem to really enjoy their little area of home but something sinister is lurking on that island ans soon it will be released.

Since the villain put his master plan in motion, people have been getting sick. Death tolls have been on the rise and unfortunately nobody really knows who will die next. The doctors want to treat it as a bacterial infection but something just isn't adding up with how quick people are dying from this infection. And, it only seems that the time is running out and they have no way to know when the infection is going to claim it's next victim. The villain is still on the loose with barely any trace behind him of what he did. The chances of survival seem low but the O’Malleys refuse to give up. And their faithful dog is always right there with encouragement. To find out more you will have to read this edge of your seat thriller!

Tanks really surprised me. I was not expecting it to have so many twists and turns. The fact that it kicked off with the villain doing sketchy crap really drew me in. I love how he seems to always be just a few steps ahead. I won't lie I was rooting for everyone in this book, including the villain! The characters are likeable, the story is very believable and the sweet dog just topped it off! I'm giving Tanks a 5 out of 5 star rating. And a very big shout out and thanks to Ted Mulcahey for giving me the opportunity to read this amazing book. And for the fact that I couldnt put it down!

Believable Storyline and Characters

This was a good smooth flowing thriller that isn't shy about giving you who the bad guy is. From the start we know the who-dun-it but we go on a ride for what he's about to do next. A calculated killer set on making those he sees as bad suffer, the killer goes to great lengths to hide detection and carry out his master plan. Although the O'Malleys have some previous run-ins with criminals, this villian seems to take the cake. I haven't read the previous books but from what I've read here I'm sure I would enjoy them as well. Yhr author referenced their previous adventures, but this can easily be a stand alone read. The book was well written and easily transitioned between character dialog. The author brings a potential real-life threat scenario to the pages and gets the reader thinking of just how far some people might go to harm others.
