I’ve been pretty fortunate in life to experience some amazing things. I’ve lived in France, traveled throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
I am a mom to an amazing boy. I live in Los Angeles, surrounded by friends and family.
I hate washing dishes but I love cooking. I hate washing clothes but I love wearing them.
Writing my bio is difficult because I never know what to say so I hope you like this one. My favorite color is red but I look best in black (it’s slimming). I hate people who don't pick up their dog's crap in public places, people who don’t use turn signals, and I really hate people who are rude and condescending. I especially hate discrimination in all and every form. And although I love holding a book in my hand, I absolutely adore my e-reader, whom I’ve named Ruby. So many books at the touch of a button!
Also, Elizabeth Monvey is my pseudonym for writing steamy MM romance. LOVE is LOVE!

Shadow Obsession is good if you want a quick little biker romance read where you don’t have to think too hard to follow along, just sit back and indulge. As it’s such a short book nothing much takes place and the things that do are so rushed that it makes serious points of the story seem frivolous which is a shame especially since so much more could have been done with this storyline. The almost supernatural element that this book details could have alone had Vivi and Lincoln’s story flourishing, Although that did not happen this time maybe it will in a future book. Vivi is sweet, honest and stubborn and it’s that stubbornness that gets her on the back of Lincoln’s bike after climbing out a window. Lincoln is overwhelmed by Vivi from the moment he rescues her from captivity (not that she didn’t partially save herself) she’s bubbly, guileless, friendly and caring to all even her kidnappers which makes her quite different to what he expected. Lincoln is a protective, honourable and loyal Mc brother who is more than willing to indulge vivi’s every whim, thought or random question no matter how wild or silly they may be.
Due to her gift Vivi knows from the start that Lincoln is her forever so if you’re not a fan of quick insta-connection stories then this one isn’t for you especially since the last 20-30% was extremely rushed as if there was a race that only the author knew they were trying to win.

Such A Fun Steamy Read!
I haven’t laughed or giggled as much whilst reading a book for ages but this is one serious but witty read!
Vivi had her own problems but as soon as she saw her beautiful man, she just knew he would be the love of her life and she would have his babies!
Lincoln didn’t know what had hit him when he met Vivi, he just knew the more he was in her company, the more he craved her!
Both had secrets but were they willing to confess to each other?
Vivi is one seriously scatty but clever person so don’t under estimate her while Lincoln is one dark sexy alpha male who would do anything to protect her.
Enjoy their mad, fast journey into love with some action and lots of steam along the way!
There is so much going on in this storyline I could go on for ages about how great it is but you just have to read it yourself to enjoy their journey.

This was an awesome addition to this engaging series and I loved Vivi and Lincoln together. She was such a firecracker with no filters and the understanding that if you didn't behave the way people expected, you could have some control in hard situations. I especially love when she first saw Lincoln that she knew he was it for her and set about freeing herself to be by his side. He was completely flabbergasted by her, when they first met, but her beautiful man sure caught on quick. Lol! Another fab thing in this read is that not only does she have a psychic skill, but so does he. This is an entrancing concept for me and I really hope the author keeps turning out more of these original stories with great plots and steamy romance :D

Vivi is abducted from her home when her sister goes to identify her brother. She is held captive by the Heart of Darkness MC. Her quirky nature and ability to calm the Pres earns as stay without punishment. After three months she is more than ready to leave. She sees another club come to pickup someone, catches sight of Lincoln Rollison, that beautiful man is meant to be hers. She breaks the window to get attention and jumps out. She rides off on the back of his bike with him.
Vivi completely disarms Lincoln, she makes him laugh and makes him feel something. I loved Vivi, she is absolutely adorable, follows a beat to her own drum. She says crazy things and everyone like her.

Shadow Obsession is my intro to this new to me author and what a gem both the book and the author are. These characters are absolutely the best! In spite of the situation Vivi finds herself, and it's a pretty bad situation, she is hysterical. She marches to the beat of her own drum and is completely unapologetic. Then we have Lincoln, sexy, alpha beast that he is doesn't know what to think when he and Vivi encounter each other. What they do know though is that they both feel this unwavering pull to each other. Their journey is absolutely fantastic. It's as much of a journey for the reader as it is for the characters!

Vivi is quite the whirlwind. She is going a mile a minute saying whatever pops into her head and disarming those around her and that is without using the power she has to calm people. I really loved her character.
Lincoln is a good guy. He seems to accept Vivi right away and doesn't fight it when she tells him that they will be together. He has his own power that keeps him alienated from his twin brother, but with Vivi's help, they work things out between them.
The only criticism I have is that the danger to Vivi is pretty short-lived and I am not sure about the ending. Was he the responsible one or was it someone else?

Held hostage until her sister comes up with enough money to pay back what their brother owed, Vivi, had to escape and that opportunity came when Linc came on separate run and she knew she couldn't let him go. Surprisingly, Vivi's bubble gum personality was endearing and not annoying. Linc brought a good balance to her positivity. It was pretty adorable.

💖💖💖 Lincoln and Vivi 💖💖💖This is definitely a book that you should definitely read. I love this entire series but Vivi is so funny... A one of a kind character! Beth D. Carter does an outstanding job. Again every book in this series is a must read. This book will make you giggle and some parts laugh out loud. Great book!.

2.5 stars. I thought the idea of “special powers” was interesting in book one of this series. And it was not my problem in this one. My problem was Vivi. She was WAY too quirky/talkative/babbling for me to cope with. Her power of calming was cool but everything else about her grated. IRL, I’m pretty sure someone would have told her to STFU on a daily, if not hourly basis. It’s a shame because Lincoln was likable but the fact that he falls for Vivi makes me wonder.

Loved it!
I absolutely loved this book! Vivi is the best character and Linc is perfect for her. Her natural exuberance was just so endearing that I couldn’t put the book down.
The author left us with a little cliffhanger that I can’t wait for the next book to find out exactly what happened.

I loved this novel, it was so good! This novel sucked me in and I did not want to put it down. I loved Vivi. I loved her personality, she made me laugh. I loved Lincoln and Vivi together. This novel made it hard for me to put it down, I had to keep reading. This novel kept me guessing what was coming next. I can't wait for the next novel to see what is coming next for everyone. So good!

Imagine rays of Yellow & sprinkles of colour everywhere. That's what it felt like when Vivi comes into the picture. I ended up smiling & laughing so much. Linc together with Vivi only brought out smiles & the other side of misunderstood bikers. Absolutely adorable read.

Lincoln and ViVi’s story has her knowing as soon as she sees him that he is her other half and him being the treasurer for the MC he is floored by her. These two find that just because you believe a different way you can still be happy and fulfilled.

Loved it!

She was held hostage and when Lincoln showed up, she knew he was her forever man. Vivi is a unique individual as is Lincoln and together they bring calm and peace to each other. This story is filled with twists and turns that will have you all caught up in the drama waiting for the next mishap. Carter provides an experience where you feel like you are right there with the characters and can feel what they are experiencing.

I have to say that this is the best one so far!!! Linc and VIvi are a perfect pair cause he truly gets her. She is genius in her kooky puzzled sort of brainy way.
The meeting scene between Linc and Vivi has me rolling and the way she just tells him what is going to happen or how things are gonna be just blew my mind.
Her superpower is one I would love to have it benefits Linc sooner than he figures out.
