Alaster French lives in the dystopian city of Decireo. Governed by a single leader who believes in overbearing laws and punishment in the form of a ruthless prison they call imprisonment.
After being sent to imprisonment, Alaster must overcome the obstacles of not knowing who to trust and the fear of being sentenced for life or even killed. However, after a false allegation, she in now in the middle of a rebellion and begins to question everything she has ever known.

What a ride. This book was such an interesting dystopian take. It was easy to get sucked into this world and fall in love with the characters! I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
